Depending on what country your from students in Korea can have a part time job after they've lived in the country for 6 months. I forget how many hours you can work in a week though. Just check on the Korean consulate website for your country.

Hola! Eso dependería del dormitorio. En el dormitorio del vídeo no hay habitaciones individuales y es solo ara estudiantes de pregrado. Hay otro dormitorio llamado Shingwan en el que sí las hay pero son bastante más caras. En el dormitorio de estudiantes de posgrado no estoy segura de si hay habitaciones individuales o no, pero yo diría que no. Espero que sirva de ayuda ☺

It does feel really lonely :( Here they do put foreigners who speak the same language together. But I do think is random. You can be paired up with koreans as well. Hope it helps~
Hello! I think I didnt vet a roommate because of corona. Usually, everyone is paired with another person. If you come after corona has improved, I think you would get a roommate as well.
Hello! Usually people stay in the dorm. Outside, the contracts for rental is usually 1 year minimum. However, I know of people who stay in Airbnb. Also, there are 고시원s but those are really small (but really cheap). Hope it helps!
Hello~~ There is only one kitchen available for the dorms, and it is in the dorm called Inkwan. To use the kitchen you have to apply for it at the beginning of the semester. You are assigned a place in the cabinet and the fridge, and you have to use your own kitchen utensils. Since regulations for corona are not so tight now, there are 3 cafeterias open in this campus. I do not know if the dorm cafeteria in Shingwan is open or not, but I thnk it's not. However, I don't think is going to be closed for much longer. Food cafeteria does anywhere between 3.500 to 7.000 won for the most expensive one (the one were professor eat), and it tastes really good. There are options for Korean and Western cuisine, and the workers are usually very friendly. Hope it help~ Ask any question whenever you want!
