    Such a charming piece of music, and Anastasia is such a charming performer. It's the first time I've heard her play this style of music. Unique and interesting.

    Eine großartige Cellistin mit einem großartigen musikalischen Vermächtnis des unvergesslichen Vollblutmusikers Friedrich Gulda: Der Dirigent fügt sich gekonnt in die Stimmung!

    The concert was composed 1980, dedicated to the cellist Heinrich Schiff and Bruno Kreisky (Austrian chancelerin the 70s), not to Ursula (Anders), there is eisting another concerto (non cello) named with her. Gulda himself conducted the premiere!

    This is a very beautiful piece of music played by an original kind of band. Although it's referred to here as a "wind" orchestra, it's much more varied than that. Yes, there are wind instruments, but there are also woodwinds, strings -- including a terrific cellist, guitar. -- They're ready to take no prisoners. The piece is an international one that includes shades of Spanish, perhaps Latin-American music and other influences. I like it a lot.

      O.K., ich verstehe, was Sie meinen.

    I love your courage. And I give you my humblest appreciation for even trying to play this next level piece. It's amazing. But I really think you can make much more from this concerto. But for now, I would recommend you to give more attention to concertos like Schumann, maybe Haydn - D major, or Saint Saens. You are extremely romantic and have a very beautiful sound. You absolutely nailed the 2nd movement from Gulda's concerto. Very beautiful vibrato and great intonation. But a bit sluggish in the first movement. I'm sorry if I was too harsh 🤗 I love your way of feeling the music. Keep up the good work ;)
    And one more advice. You have great continuity of the phrases. But sometimes, they need to be a little more suple, to have that nice feeling of ballance

      …If I were the adressee of this comment, I wouldn’t answer here. As there are professional aspects concerned, this platform seems to be not the right one. There is an obvious risk of being attacked personally, which is totally unacceptable to me. Either you follow the mainstream, starting from „Wow“ or you express your personal impressions without any criticism on other opinions. I am not following the public view onto a certain singer. Whenever I repeat that in a comment, there is an avalanche of personal attacks. However I never criticize other opinions, who am I, but I stick to my own verdict no matter everytime I listen to this gentleman. All the best! RDS

    On ne s'attend vraiment pas à ce que cette violoncelliste joue une pièce aussi loufoque, mais même les musiciens de l'orchestre s'en réjouissent ; alors pourquoi pas ...!

  • @Anna-il3yc

    This piece doesn't suit the player. Even though I know, she is a good cellist, this piece seems to be too difficult for her. She seems to be extremely nervous, often out of tune and passages are not clear or faked. Maybe not ready for it yet :)

    • @asalj4014

      She probably learned it in a week lol thats why. I dont think Tchaikovsky bronze medalist will have struggle with it if she puts enough time to it

      @Anna-il3yc 3 роки тому +3

      @@asalj4014 as I said...She is a very good cellist, but this has also to do with the right style for this piece. And if you are in this Branche, you for sure know, that winning a competition doesn't mean anything. There are millions of cellists out there who are as good as her or even better. They just didn't compete. Plus in those competitions connections are soo so important. Good luck for you and a beautiful Christmas time :) 🎄

    • @asalj4014
      @asalj4014 3 роки тому +1

      @@Anna-il3yc Yes I am a pianist myself and I know what you are talking about. The reason why I listed her competition achievement is not because such prize matters, but because not every cellist who can play as well as her is able to control their nerves and prepare such long program on that level for a competition which 7 million people watch it. The most incredible pianist I have met had a memory loss on the last Tchaikovsky. So no, I don't think that millions of cellists are on her level and it is disrespectful to the artists' hard work to say "She had connections." Happy holidays to you as well!

    • @Anna-il3yc
      @Anna-il3yc 3 роки тому +1

      Don't take it too personal please! This business is what it is! We cannot change it! But we can accept it and make the best out of it! And it was not disrespectful at all!
      You don't have to be a well controlled person, to be a great MUSICian! Music doesn't come from control, just from the inside! And if you have a memory loss but you've touched the audience, no one is interested about your mistake anymore. But we were raised as competitive persons, so I understand your opinion :)

    • @th7513
      @th7513 3 роки тому +3

      @@Anna-il3yc I would not say that the piece is too difficult for her nor that millions of cellists are on her level. I think she only tries to deliver her best musicality in that unusual-style and demanding piece.
