I remember having to apply for my pension online... every time I answered with a yes to a question out tumbled 10 more digital questions to answer, nevermind uploading documents. It took me 6hrs and a lot of cursing (truck driver Gemma mode) to complete the application!

Well i lost my hairbrush at start of mercury retrograde so the clumpy hair is all good with me Gemma. On the sofa front, finally got a sofa after 18 months of sitting on the floor, the boys were exstatic, sat down to watch a film christmas eve n the tv is behaving weirdly n seems unwatchable .
My house is really old, but it has a lot of character, and I love it. It has a detached garage that the previous owners turned into a storage shed. My stepdad bought a very nice garage door with an opener for me and it’s been turned back into a garage. I am so pleased and grateful. ❤

Years ago I had a "found" cat who when she got a bit before 4 months or whatever the veterinarian said was the minimum spaying age, started to wee (as u Brits say ; ) on my leather loveseat. I didn't realize it at first, and as the time went on it became UNMISTAKABLE!! I lived in an upper floor apartment and consigned a couple of guy friends to "dispose" of the sofa....in the dead of night. I couldn't even help with directions to the Dumpster since it was monitored by video and I didn't dare be seen as the Tennant with the offending furniture since apparently u are not able to get rid of furniture in that way. What else would I have been able to do with it??? No Charity Shop(Goodwill store) would certainly have picked it up for me!!! I feel your pain Gemma!!

T'is the season for all sorts of 'things'!! You're managing well, Gemma, all things considered! Hopefully your sofa is able to be rehabbed adequately to keep. And no more 'kitty issues'!! Lol! We're all looking forward to the end of Mercury retrograde, for sure! I'm now in a quandary re moving house...much cheaper rent, brand new construction, but some big tradeoffs, such as no in-unit laundry, no dishwasher, no tub - just a huge shower; outdoor-only parking (have had heated garage for 6+ yrs), no extra storage area (I still have garden stuff, bike, seasonal auto tires to store, etc), and it's 20 minutes outside my city...not bad, but different. And likely lots of furniture will need to go...I think I can manage all that; it makes total financial sense, but as we age, big changes can be daunting!
Cat pee is just the worst thing to remove! I read somewhere that vinegar will neutralise the smell. Supposedly stops the cat reoffending in the same place, too.
Omg, Mercury Retrograde bureaucracy afoot here too: the hospital my son is in wants to discharge him on Tuesday....he can't use either leg or his right shoulder/arm, he's still on opioids for pain, was still on psych hold and not even allowed a plastic spoon the last time his dad visited over the recent weekend, and they told him, my son, that he couldn't stay longer, didn't 'qualify' for a residential rehab and therapy center, and was basically gonna have to figure it all out himself while he is basically an invalid! Prayers/spells/manifestations from anyone who reads this as his dad will be there in about half-hour from my typing here to sort it out. My son's mental and emotional state is such right now that sent home, he will certainly find a way to complete what he tried to do 4 weeks ago that got him in the hospital in the first place. Much appreciated, thank you!!!

Hi Gemma Im a proper tech phobe and dont know how to get forms in the correct format to upload. Does my head in. Sometimes, I think the digital age kids are purposefully keeping my generation out of the digital world, with their made up language for using digital things. It is satifying to get that break through, though. I had enormous issues in my online studies, for the first unit, because the Training org wouldnt accept my work for grading, because my old system wasnt upgraded enough to match their system. See what I mean? I basically couldnt submit my work until I paid for a new word for Windows. Here I am trying to upskill and all I get are road blocks! Got there in the end, but I needed to get assistance from an IT friend. Sheezus! Thanks for the reminder to check my tyres, oil and water, as Im going on a 3 hr road trip tomorrow. Life, oh life!!
