No problem. I'm getting rid of my Busa soon & I'll be looking at getting into another bike in a couple years. I want something with a slightly more upright riding position. How is the riding position on this one? Also, I'm about 6'4, would this bike be too small?
+maurice horton It's more upright for sure. That said, less fatigue on your back/arms compared to a sport bike. :) I own a cbr600rr before I got this one. You might want to replace the seat with a taller one. These bikes let you sit "in" the bike and not the traditional "on" the bike. Works for me as I have a short inseam. But overall, it's a super fun machine! Sport mode is unbelievably crazy! :) Good luck on your next purchase :)
Thanks for that. I have just fitted the fronts. And Ducati only had one set in stock they told me they are not dedicated to front and rear ? I can get the indicator arm off but can't see how the under tray comes off to get to the wiring loom. Be grateful to you if you could give me a pointer thanks. Again :)
+Gary Devera thanks Gary. I guess I'll need to get hold of Ducati. Regards that they came with none in mine looks like a pig to fit them. Not looking forward to it. Thanks a heap Gary. :) ride safe
+2cool0 Thanks man! And I believe it serves its purpose on damp/wet roads. And not give a mud stripe to the rider following you. There are days that I wanted to remove it, just to see if it will give a cleaner look and show how big the rear tire is. :) cosmetic
Gary Devera haha yeah it's kind of a good and bad thing. it does make it look nice but i still wish it was up under the tail. like both ways would look good. both has it's pros and cons
I love this bike, i am not ready for it yet though since i am a newbie. A lot of people hate on ducati and say they are not reliable and they are pretty boy crap and whatever just because they ride a japanese bike i believe (no hate from me on the japanese bikes). I do not see an aprilia, bmw, ktm etc rider saying that though!!!!! lol. How has the bike been for you anyhow, in terms of reliability and such?
+jim bob Hi there! Thanks man! Sorry for the late response! Personally, I haven't had any issues with the bike! I believe proper maintenance/extra TLC also helps as far as keeping the bike out of trouble goes. So far, I'm loving the monster!
Not ready lol don't be silly my first ever road bike was a 2001 yam r6 ....you don't have to wind the throttle back lol it is voluntary....safe riding bro
www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-hindsight-lanesplitter-bar-end-mirror and www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-billet-internal-adapter-for-crg-bar-end-mirror size 7/8
Beautiful Bike..I ride a 2012 Multistrada s. I'm contemplating trading it in and getting a Monster. Just waiting for that R to come out and test ride it..enjoy the bike..be safe! :)
I had the Monster 620i, now I have Monster 796 and this one has to be my third, it's really really wonderful. Pity is that you can't buy it new anymore.
Hi buddy! I like how tiny the blinkers are and how bright it flashes. You'll be amazed how bright these lights are. Yes they are different. Unless you have a ducati performance rear plate holder
Can we install this slip on by ourself? And I have heard about the upmap unlock. Should we have to do the upmap unlock at the same time as well? What's the difference between upmap lock and unlock ? Thx
Hi there! The quality is top notch and it functions wayyyyy better than the stock. They fold too if you want to lane split. It also will change your bike's appearance. Don't forget to get the adapters just in case.
+Fuz Goes Riding It's been awesome! Looks like this bike was made for shorter guys (adjustable seat) with the default seat that came with it. Bike looks big but once you ride it, you'll notice that it's lighter that you'd expect. Torque wise, you won't get wrong on this. Very powerful. I love the suspension on this. :) hope that helps!
+Gary Devera Its not for wind. If it were the opposite mirror would be reverse threaded. Its a safety feature so if the mirror catches on somthing it dosent rip the brake lever off and leave you without front brakes.
What you came here for is at 3:51. you are welcome.
man that thing was fucking nice!
congrats on the bike! what a beauty. I'm on a 796 but part of me is contemplating upgrading to the 1200s. enjoy and keep the rubber side down!
Thanks sir! The 796 is a great bike indeed! Keep me posted! You can never go wrong with either :) ride safe!
+Gary Devera will do. Keep the videos coming.
Awesomeness!! How tall r u ? Thinking of getting this exact bike!
I know what you came for: 3:50
love the sound
Can you please send along a link to the frame plugs? I cannot seem to find them. Thanks in advance!
Beautiful bike!

Beautiful bike man. Congrats.
+maurice horton Thanks buddy!!! :) I appreciate it

Thanks, buddy!

Mine came with instructions. Rear installation made me nuts too lol. Check the packaging. Should be inside. (Folded)
+Gary Devera thanks Gary. I guess I'll need to get hold of Ducati. Regards that they came with none in mine looks like a pig to fit them. Not looking forward to it. Thanks a heap Gary. :) ride safe
Good to know bro, I hope you ride without troubles, amazing bike, I'm gonna buy that exact bike April 2016,
Thanks buddy! You, too! Ride safe! :)
Really worried you were going to blueball me on the start-up...
Great bike I'm hoping to get one of those soon. Do you had any reliability problems whit bike.
Thanks! I've never had any problems as far as the bike is concerned. :)
1200S vs 1200R, does it worth the extra dollars?
nice mods, i have just bought a 1200s , do you recommend the crg bar end mirrors
+is that a fact Yes I highly recommend them! Make sure to get the adapters so you can put them "in" your bars. No vibrations :)
Awesome looking bike! Are you wearing kevlar jeans?
Yes Eric! :) atgatt
man first time ever that you don't really need to buy a rear fender eliminator because the stock ones already look good!
+2cool0 Thanks man! And I believe it serves its purpose on damp/wet roads. And not give a mud stripe to the rider following you. There are days that I wanted to remove it, just to see if it will give a cleaner look and show how big the rear tire is. :) cosmetic

Why would you want to "eliminate" the rear fender ? I just had the rear fender - that has a function I guess- and had it painted red.
I love this bike, i am not ready for it yet though since i am a newbie. How tall are you?? Also are those slip on exhaust or full exhaust ??
Great vid, what're the part number of the mirrors and adapters? Thanks!
www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-hindsight-lanesplitter-bar-end-mirror
and
www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-billet-internal-adapter-for-crg-bar-end-mirror
size 7/8
For the bar end adapter, is it 7/8" or 1"?
Nice bike Gary, thinking of getting one, had any problems with it so far?
Michael White no issues so far! Love it to bits. Check my ig profile. Took it to yosemite
Beautiful Bike..I ride a 2012 Multistrada s. I'm contemplating trading it in and getting a Monster. Just waiting for that R to come out and test ride it..enjoy the bike..be safe! :)
+Tito Matias Thanks, buddy! I love the R! Wish I had one. :) Ride safe! Let me know how it is! :)
termignoni is complete exhaust or only terminal? and db killer? beautiful bike
Lui-Gi Desmo hi this is full system. With ecu racing
Lui-Gi Desmo thank you!!!
Hey did u Dyno the bike with the exhaust . What difference did u feel with the full system and ECU
What? No more videos, did you sell or crashed your bike? , what happened?
+jose luis Hi buddy! Was a bit busy recently. I still have my bike and enjoying it. I'll upload new vids soon with my new upgrades. :)
I had the Monster 620i, now I have Monster 796 and this one has to be my third, it's really really wonderful. Pity is that you can't buy it new anymore.
Did u for the blinkers yourself. Wondered if the front and rears are different part numbers
Hi buddy! I like how tiny the blinkers are and how bright it flashes. You'll be amazed how bright these lights are. Yes they are different. Unless you have a ducati performance rear plate holder

Monster 1200s the bike camw with the upmap dds map key and the dealer installed it. Not actually street legal. For slip ons, no need to upmap I think!
the beast!!!
how do you like those mirrors? i'm thinking of getting the same but i'm not sure..
Hi there! The quality is top notch and it functions wayyyyy better than the stock. They fold too if you want to lane split. It also will change your bike's appearance. Don't forget to get the adapters just in case.
+Gary Devera I have the same bike as you :) I'm buying them i think, now i just need to find a dealer in europe..
+Gert-Jan Stehouwer awesome! Congrats man!!!
+Gert-Jan Stehouwer don't forget to get the adapters too so you can install them "inside" your handlebars
+Gary Devera I wont, thanks :)
Dooookattteeeeee......
Do you still have this bike?
Is it good?
REVHE4D yep!!! I love it!
Looks like you're about my height! Been seriously considering this bike. How's it been going for you?
+Fuz Goes Riding It's been awesome! Looks like this bike was made for shorter guys (adjustable seat) with the default seat that came with it. Hi :) nice Moto:) what is the name of your jeans?
Szymon Baran it’s a g star moto jeans
I did the same thing on 796 mirror, what idiot decided to put a reverse thread on mirror bolt!?!
+jimpanzer07 lol! I know right! I guess to prevent it from coming loose because of the wind pushing towards to lefty loosey
+Gary Devera Its not for wind. If it were the opposite mirror would be reverse threaded. Its a safety feature so if the mirror catches on somthing it dosent rip the brake lever off and leave you without front brakes.
+BryceAWD great info buddy!!! Thanks! Now I know :)
+Gary Devera Sure thing. have fun on her. she's beautiful. and ride safe.
+BryceAWD Ride safe too, my friend! Thanks again :)
Is the bike comfy when standing it up straight? How tall are you?
I heard the 1200r might be slightly taller.
Very comfy! It also lets you lower the seat height! Mine's on the highest position and I'm about 5' 5"
how big is the back tire??
190 buddy!
Hi mate. Can any person ride this machine responsibly? I mean is it an urge to speed?
Elie Nehme absolutely! It’s up to the rider. It has 155hp so you need to have self control and discipline :)
Jesus I'm week in the knees
This s variant ? What the different with R variant ?
yourfavorite audience the R has more carbon bits and specd for racing. :) kind of different. Its a great bike!
Nice!!!
Ilove this bike 200 present
Adorable, how you can't even get two feet flat on the ground...
My cbr600rr is talller lol
***** What I said is not legitimate? Is it not an accurate observation? An I would never act like that at a party. I'd punch people in the face.
