When you star up a commander use 5 normal stars and one of either special for most value from your stars. Using 4 normal and one of each special will give you the biggest amount in one go but for most value use 5 normal and 1 of either special.
I didn't know about the develop multiplier because I'm pretty new to the game so I tested it on my lvl 30 CAO CAO and accidentally got his 4th talent which means it'll be hard to get the right talents upgraded😂😭

Why taking the tank army first? That's useless. He will deal more damage to u while u won't hurt him that much. Always kill the damage dealer marchs first.
You might want to do some math when using your stars to level up your commanders. You wasted a lot of star xp. You may not care, which is fine, but I would probably let your viewers know that in the long run that is a horrible way about doing it. 1 Special Star + 6 Normal Stars is the best combination. Also, Barca + Aethelflaed is also a bit of a waste. Her debuff overwrites his. From testing, Aetheflaed (maxed) as primary with a hard hitting secondary is NASTY.
Are you mentioning the luck with the stars? For the debuff they do work ( stack) I've asked cs for this. If u have a report that shows its not working pls forward to my discord so I can show the bug.

@@Shinchi42 So their debuffs partially stack, but here is the catch. Only Barca's decrease of damage stays. His defense debuff is overwritten by Aethelflaed's defense debuff because it is 30% vs 25%. The larger number always wins out.

Bro, did you realize that the talent NAKED RAGE would be more times a negative talent than a positive one? Both in canyon and open field your commander will have to face more than one enemy. If you happen to face at least 2 commanders at once with Edward, that talent that boost your skill for 6% is going to boost even the skill of every enemy that is attacking you in that moment. So, in that situation, you would have boosted 2 commanders to gain a little 6% on your skill damage that is already big. Doesn't require that 6%, your Edward will be easier to beat while facing a crowd. You're for sure more Pro than me, but think a little about that, maybe you didn't see that talent this way.

For the stars let me ask you why u think its a waste? Starts go to the next star. Sometimes u can end up having 3.5 stars.
