I made this after hearing the amazing remix back when Wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass released, but it took me until now to get it done. This remix came out during the Animal Tour in Mario Kart Tour, and N64 Choco Mountain happened to be in it, so that's a fun coincidence :)

I love how the Tap Trial background is able to reference Cookie Land from Mario Kart Double Dash. It’s such an obvious and obscure reference at the same time.
I was really lucky that it fits so well. At the time I thought about it, Mario Kart Tour started the Battle Tour with GCN Cookie Land being one of the first they added. It has chocolate vibes, it has a circular platform, it's a Battle Course, which connects with the fact that two of those in Mario Kart 64 used the same music as Choco Mountain... it all comes full circle.
This had me floored by how well this all worked. While I didn't think much of this song going in to this, leaving it I have some appreciation for this track now. Keep up the good work, and have a nice day.

I didn't even realize this was a mod, that's amazing!
(That being said, how did you get the enhancements seen in the video? Mainly widescreen and HD textures, was the video done with editing but the actual mod is a mod or is it Citra trickery [Like HD textures slightly squished so they're un-squished when stretching to widescreen?])
The HD textures were done with Citra, and the widescreen was done by zooming the camera out and then some video editing tricks.
The idea was to have a high quality presentable video while also having a playable mod.
This is also the first custom remix I've made that's also a playable mod (aside from the reimagined Remix 7 DS) and I intend for all my remixes to be playable mods in the future.
Good job MF5K the high quality graphics, the widescreen, and the models are so amazing. Also i love the working dough parts.
