Not even I've seen the damage it does to children's minds it's sad they only care about views and money they basically make addictive content for children
Sadly because the new parenting is putting any screen in front of them to shut up & be quiet the whole time. Instead of letting them be children such as crying, yelling, be annoying or let them go outside to know hobbies/sports.
Why do parents who can afford a one income household choose to both work and put the child in daycare? People are happier outsourcing their parenting. Tv included.
It takes two to tango. Obviously parents are 100% at fault for their own actions and inactions, but also society as a whole is in a weird faze where people are seemingly fine with pushing anything and everything onto kids. I get the vibe a lot of people watched anything and everything as a child, and see nothing wrong with other children being exposed to everything.
I used to work at build a bear and thid one little girl was so engrossed in cocomelon she didn't even speak. She didn't even seem interested in getting a bear. When her mom tried to take the tablet from her she let out this feral "no" and started scratching at her mom till she gave it back. Needless to say it freaked me the hell out.
This is very my cousin literally had those same issues. She's good and smart now that she is older in school and obviously not watching such a stupid show. However yea it's totally the parents fault, maybe the parents didn't grow up with good education themselves so maybe they can't recognize good vs bad education.. however for me i just compare these new baby shows with what I had growing up. Hell I even played Nancy Drew games once I got older because my pre school games taught me so much. So my advice is this, if the video or game is always yelling or just speaking loud and fast with no clear coherent sentences being said, then its bad! Also if the lessons being taught just look and sound ridiculous, then its probably not going to teach much
If dopamine pathways are being activated then worn out so young, what happens in 15 to 20 years when they take their first drink/drug? Are they already primed to be more susceptible to other addictions later on?
I’ll say it’s cocomelon AND the parents fault cause first off, why tf is cocomelon even tryna get kids attention so desperately that they are literally considered a drug addiction and secondly, I get parents can’t interact with their kids all the time, but I’d rather physically teach my kid and give em toys than to just give them an iPad 😭
My niece has been banned from cocomelon for about a year. She is 3 and can barely speak but she also has a high screentime. I don't think it's completley the fault but definetley a contributor
this is very necessary, i’ve seen it firsthand, at this daycare the kids did not want to watch the disney movies or cartoons (there not as stimulating) i’ve seen the tantrums, it’s really not healthy for kids who haven’t even started school to already be ruining their attention spans. how will they get through 12 years of school.
Basically they figured out how to get toddlers to pay attention to a screen. Toddlers and babies shouldn't have the ability to pay attention to screens. Cocomelon is evil fr.
The way this is so true my nephew is 6 years old and when he was one/two years old my brother would have him watching Blippi and Cocomelon for hours and it took him forever to finally form sentences and he even gotten tested and was diagnosed very recently with autism.
People need to understand just because someone makes a child show doesn't mean the intent is for the child's growth. Money is the end game. Making bank off kids attention spans
Parents have control over what the kids watch, how can a baby get addicted if the parents just turn it off and deal with the meltdown. Babies shouldn’t be on tablets for hours
5:45 is a shitty comparison. I get bringing up "Bluey", but Bluey actually has story lines , and "Arcane" and "Encanto are clearly for an older, more focused audience. That, and the fact that "Encanto" is a feature-length movie.
🙄 Most of what is in this video is overblown and misleading. A lot of music uses the 3x repeat thing. It is incredibly common for mainstream music in particular. A toddler is gonna learn “no”regardless of a tv show or UA-cam channel. (Don’t parents tell their children “no” plenty?) All small children want -need even- is attention, and sometimes they’ll use something that makes you scold and chase after them because you ultimately stay nearby. Negative attention is still attention! I work in a job that helps autistic children gain and grow skills that are common at their developmental age. The kids are 2-5 years old and anything they are severely attached to is easily addressed through very simple efforts; that is to say… a child’s behavior is never set in stone. The key is consistency. Be consistent and empathetic to what they might be feeling while adapting to a new norm. Take smaller steps and you’ll see progress.
P.S. Content creators and media companies cater to the observed needs of parents. Also: if you use a screen to keep your kid occupied, the child does in fact understand its utility, even if they can’t explain it to someone. You rely on the devices and, consequently, so do they.
Mainstream music is also affecting older people's attention span. That's why a lot of popular songs are shorter. Causing unnecessary basic skills for people in life. Mental health is not improving
@@ajat3202 absolutely. And that could be a matter of one’s job not allowing for much free time, which is unfortunate. I know I wish America had work weeks and job expectations that allowed for more availability to family. Not to mention better pay and benefits that enabled families to take more time off.
@@ajat3202 Well…it’s difficult to measure the state of mental health. More people are seeking out services, yes, which could be read as worsening mental health. However, since it’s no longer taboo to get therapy, that alone could explain the increase in mental health clients. THEN a case could be made for people actually being better off mentally. Again, it’s really challenging to measure how “healthy” a population is mentally. Hell… most people don’t even know they’re mentally unwell. It’s fine for music to be short and attention grabbing. If anything, it might change your music-listening habits, but it doesn’t weaken anything else cognitively. Not significantly anyway.
It's a known fact tho. Therapists have recommended kids not watch. Laughing doesn't mean they are learning anything. It causes unnecessary things for kids & parents in the future
Not "the most evil channel" chile they so dramatic lol🤣
If it damages the mind of kids then it's evil shi...
Not even I've seen the damage it does to children's minds it's sad they only care about views and money they basically make addictive content for children
Maybe not evil from the outside but definitely evil as in the damage it does to children, and the intentions of those who run channels like that
Why are parents even allowing their kids on UA-cam in the first place? They should blames themselves tbh
Sadly because the new parenting is putting any screen in front of them to shut up & be quiet the whole time. Instead of letting them be children such as crying, yelling, be annoying or let them go outside to know hobbies/sports.
Shhhhhhh. They don’t want to take accountability for shitty parenting.
Exactly

My kids will know nothing of Cocomelon… They will be hooked on phonics.
Period!!
That’s good parenting right there

"Calloo" Girl its Caillou (Ky-you) 💀
I been watching Dee for so long man😂 . I’m this early tho ! WATTUP DOOOEE
Mannn what!! Since middle school days
Whut up dooeeee‼️‼️⁉️
Dee Shanell you look beautiful 😍
not cocomelon chile
Anybody that puts a iPad or a phone infront of their child is EVIL
This man so annoying with his “uhhhhh” pronunciation at each last word of his sentences. 😅
The information aside but the way he reports it omg so annoying😭 he always ads an 'uh' after each of his sentences😭
If dopamine pathways are being activated then worn out so young, what happens in 15 to 20 years when they take their first drink/drug?
Are they already primed to be more susceptible to other addictions later on?
This is creepy af. And some of the parents thinks this ish is cute 🤦 letting your kids watch this mess 😂
It seems like every generation is getting lazier & lazier @ raising their kids
Cilo?

Good morning, Dee! What u eating today, chile?
"Kids are stupid they can't read" got me on the floor 😭😂😂😂
I'm ngl this sounds like fear mongering to me. The video maker was probably running out of content ideas
No, it's a thing. Parents don't even usually concern themselves with kids who have disabilities
this is very necessary, i’ve seen it firsthand, at this daycare the kids did not want to watch the disney movies or cartoons (there not as stimulating) i’ve seen the tantrums, it’s really not healthy for kids who haven’t even started school to already be ruining their attention spans. how will they get through 12 years of school.
woooo
Me and my sister have a huge age gap and the moment she stopped watching cocomelon was the moment she started to speak. She’s 3 lol
So... They in love with the coco?! This is wild! 😂😂😂😂
We are in an era of a “coke” pandemic within children now. Lordddddd 😮
I heard Coco Melon, too
The parents should blame themselves. Just turn the damn youtube off.
Basically they figured out how to get toddlers to pay attention to a screen. Toddlers and babies shouldn't have the ability to pay attention to screens. Cocomelon is evil fr.
Since we’re on this topic, Dee you should react to a video on Elsagate and the weird side of Kid’s UA-cam
Good thing my niece wasn’t affected.
''they crackheads for cocomelon'' now Dee....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The way this is so true my nephew is 6 years old and when he was one/two years old my brother would have him watching Blippi and Cocomelon for hours and it took him forever to finally form sentences and he even gotten tested and was diagnosed very recently with autism.

See my question is why parents think is ok to let their children watch that channel for many hours?? It sounds like a parenting issue honestly
Yes Caillou wasn’t allowed in my house. He ain’t wanna do nothing his mom asked and he always had an attitude or upset about something.
I let my neices watch the classics like Barney or Teletubbies and their mom would let them watch cocomelon or bluey
My son watched coco melon when he was younger I never had this issue with him.
My brother used to watch coco melon channel and the first mother is correct 😭 when it was on it’s like only him and the tv is home
there will probably never be a generation of parents that do a good job of being a parents
Dee gotta play amandas adventure now 😅
Dee lookin at these kids like they really smoked out 😂

The problem is parents aren't interacting with their children as much

welp if it gets them to sit down for a few minutes while the parent cleans the house or does whatever I wouldn't say its evil.
It causes unnecessary functions in the future
Chile you can never satisfy mfs, now they blaming a kids channel and calling it “the most evil channel” ?????
It's a known fact tho. Therapists have recommended kids not watch. Laughing doesn't mean they are learning anything. It causes unnecessary things for kids & parents in the future
right? the irony is this guy running the channel made that title to get views and attention.
I don’t understand this stuff lol
