Todd Fox is the real deal!! I have known him for decades and he always is the master of his craft whatever that craft may be. I’ve never seen someone so versed in all sides of a situation. He applies psychology of protection and interaction with anyone you put him in a situation with. He is the master of deescalation. The best way to end a fight is to never have a fight. His client always comes first and he doesn’t escalate a situation for his own ego and not the protection of his client. Todd provided my family up with a package, including a map that included safe places, safe people we could count, places for medical attention and where not to stay to be able to enjoy our trip and be able to go home safe at the end of night.
Todd is the most focused and professional protection specialist I have ever met. In my 10 years as a member of a tactical team, he easily stands out as a professional. Our work together has been a great opportunity to learn. Always smart and quick to detect anomalies and avoid problems, or their aggravation. Under his supervision the work flows perfectly and possible critical situations are dissipated or deterred with technique and without spotlight ... you should read your book! I’ve found myself looking at situations differently and making different choices than I would have in the past. Todd has such a depth of knowledge in this area, you’d be a fool to not learn from his experience.

His latest book Proteiction for and from Humanity is a great read from the seasoned expert to the college kid leaving home for the first time. Another great book! Another great interview!
Having had extensive experience in both conventional and special operations in the military and law enforcement, it’s refreshing to see/hear someone that really knows what he is talking about. From his celebrity/executive protection business, Jiu-Jitsu background, and his law enforcement and military experience, Todd brings a clear and practical view on several of the issues he talks about. If you have any interest in the subject, buy his book(s) and take one of his classes; I highly recommend

His knowledge base and ability break down techniques and scenarios, making them easy to understand and perform is something you rarely see. I would highly recommend taking a look at his content, classes and personal instruction. If your waiting until you need it, then it’s already too late.
