@Juuex I'm just really adhd and if I don't just choose one, I'll never get any, because I'll always be deciding. my favorite one is an idea I had loosely in my head, but I trust my artist, and she did awesome. It's a little poison dart frog on a pothos vine
Don’t quote me on this, I’m not an expert and I’m too lazy to fact check myself. But I think that they print the design onto a special type of paper that leaves a thin film, and the design, on top of the water when they lay it across the surface.
In my mind I'm "thinking yeah right, dude. It looks easy as hell" but I know damn well if you slapped me in front of that and had me do it, it would turn out to be the worst hydro dip you've ever seen lol.
So, from reading the comments below, I think I am getting a better understanding of the process... I have done paper marbling and the technique seems similar: paints are applied to a water surface and float there. Then they are "combed" into a design and a clean sheet of paper is laid on the paint and then quickly lifted up, bringing the combed design up with it. (Examples of beautiful paper marbling can be seen on the end papers inside the covers of both antique and modern bespoke books.)
Its basically a giant water activated sitcker. It's kinda like flipping a bedsheet out. Once its one the surface of the water, they mist water on top of it and it dissolves, leaving the pattern suspended on the surface of the water.
For those who wonder how these layer of paint are made They use a printed sheet and spray a solvent to turn it into a layer of paint *I don't know much about it But just wanted to share anyway
Awesome. I've tried small versions of this for art purposes up to 12" x 12" and you are RIGHT! It takes a very steady hand to get it right! Luckily some patterns are more forgiving, and less obvious in the shapes and shadows so beginners can try without losing a ton of money on every tr. Great patterns like this one isn't nearly as forgiving. Much props for your smooth movements and clear CUT motion a lot of pol don't get that part either. 🎉😊
That's awesome i have a carbon fiber hood on my car it would look so sick if i could print some black graphics (something like that) on the black/grey carbon fiber hood.
This is one of the very best examples of this technique. Usually these clips proudly show how the decals are strerched into a weird mess that looks like a kid got a can of fingerpaint, but this result looks like something I would accept and happily pay money for if I needed it.
NOW THAT! was one of the most trippen things I have seen in a while! Very Cool! That would have been even better if I was trippen! I'm in my 60s but because of this video, I think I need to take another Trip! Thanks for the Vid.
Yup I used to do this to my nails, lighters, shoes. Then it got boring and everyone else was doing it so. The key is to have clean water at room temperature. For your nails, distilled or bottled because of not it will not transfer, and the other stuff* in the water will interact with the chemicals in the nail stuff. Another key is that you don't want it to dry on the surface of the water before you dip, and you don't want it too thick. Too thin it won't show up.
I came to the comments to see if anyone else thought of water marble nails when seeing this. Technically, you can let the nail polish dry on top of the water. You just don't dip your nail. Once it's completely dry on the water's surface, pick it up, and cut out a nail sticker! You can then put it on your nail with a base coat. ❤
I am surprised how much efforts they put into things we barely notice
Its for them
I notice these things but I'm kinda a gear head. I think it's just looking at the world differently.
It's a massive difference lol
i’m so confused who’s they? and how can you not tell? are you nearsighted?
he dipped it. im having a hard time seeing an actual effort here.
If some occupations look easy, someone performming them is probably a professional.

Aaaa
It feels like the metal is melting into that liquid…..
My satisfaction level:📈📈
How u know it feels amazing if ur not even there?
@Cumar Mohamed It’s called satisfaction lmao
That liquid is water mixed with borax
Oh when I looked at it that way it seemed more satisfying
I didn't read the captions so till about halfway I thought the red thing was some kind of rubber being melted onto a flat surface
Beautiful
that is by far the coolest hydrodipping I've ever seen
This is the wrap you get when you are the type of person to pick the tattoo you want off the wall impulsivly.
😭😭😭
I get mine impulsively but I plan out the idea. Everybody gets tattoos differently.
@shamanllamasame, my favorite tattoo is one I chose out of my artists book that day. Same with another I let home draw on my arm
@Juuex I'm just really adhd and if I don't just choose one, I'll never get any, because I'll always be deciding.

@SumYun Guy Happy now?
My son does that with the electric guitars he builds!!❤
Wooww 🤯😍
Cool
Awesome!!
That's a seriously steady move, very impressed.

Absolutely beautiful!❤
As steady as this man's hands are, he should've been a surgeon!
I'm a surgeon and I dont know if I would say that⁉️💯😎
i’m more impressed by how they got that design to stay on the water like that
Don’t quote me on this, I’m not an expert and I’m too lazy to fact check myself. But I think that they print the design onto a special type of paper that leaves a thin film, and the design, on top of the water when they lay it across the surface.
@the camera man so does that mean the paper causes to make the satisfying sound?
@helosyes, that’s it sticking to the object
It's a thin sticker that floats on water
Paint has a lower density than water, therefor it floats.
The design is totally random, you'll never get two to be the same
I always wondered - how durable are these markings you get from hydro dipping?
Hydro dipping is so cool. I could watch these videos for hours
the ASMR I didn’t know I needed today
Its added noise, not the real noise
@Ahmad Albrahimya well now im hurt
Во сне, чтобы проснуться не таким сухим, как засыпал)
@Ahmad Albrahimya lol yeah that 💧 noise at the beginning 🤨
Exactly!
As a person who fails at watermarbling my nails, I'm in awe of this person.
I am amazed how their skill doesn’t distort the images. It’s unreal.
If you’ve ever tried hydrodipping, you’ll know it’s A LOT harder than it looks to get a perfect result😂
In my mind I'm "thinking yeah right, dude. It looks easy as hell" but I know damn well if you slapped me in front of that and had me do it, it would turn out to be the worst hydro dip you've ever seen lol.
It's pretty easy I'd say
How do you fix it if you screw it up?
@Lysergic Acid tear it off and restart😂 sand it, clean it, prep it, dip it
Ah, yes, let us not use a simple machine to lower this piece of metal precisely.
Daaaaaaayum. Intense to make, watch, and epic results. Steady hands needed is an understatement
That’s beautiful ❤
Damn that's wicked!
Godd jub my dj painting clgn motor big bos my dian yosef wbf
😱😍❣️💖👍🇧🇩
Почему?
That first "dwop" in the water is so satisfying 😌
I was wondering why they were covering up that beautiful red, but it turned out great.
The red really makes it pop out. Very nice 👌🏻
tyty
partlyz allready knew outcome but i said it laudly Uuuui....
Maybe a white we would have seen the graphic more
@Homer J or Sunfire yellow.
That looks so nice!!!

ЛЮДИ, ВЫ ПРЕКРАСНЫ❤
That’s really incredible the end result of it looking just so fresh :D
I wish we could have seen the end result on the car. That's so awesome.
Ngl i think its going on a bike rather than a car... would look absolute dogshit on a car and would be hella difficult to do on an entire car
@_Black I've watch people do that to guitars. I wish I knew how. Looks fun .
@_Black Yeah for sure a motorcycle it's actually the rear fender so good eye 🤝
You can get this exact print in white on gta tho lollll
@EL DiiABL0 GUCCii GRiiNG0 Of what a drag bike? It's huge, I thought it was a fender for a custom truck or something.
Looks great!!! 😍🔥💖
The sound of the water when that metal hits it 😍❤
it's edited noise, if only it really sounded that cool
Bro gave his car a lil tattoo 💀
Fr 💀🔥🔥
bike fender?
back in my young days i did the very same "kinda" on a scale model, tiny diff i used a stickers with water instead of paint and water =D
This is pretty cool looking!
My question is that how do they lay out that print on the water? Wicked 🔥🔥
I believe they spray something on top of the water, which affects the surface tension and then carefully lay the film on top
@Eno Deren Namlli it’s actually the film first. The spray softens it and allows it to stick to the part.
Its basically a giant water activated sitcker. It's kinda like flipping a bedsheet out. Once its one the surface of the water, they mist water on top of it and it dissolves, leaving the pattern suspended on the surface of the water.
Magic.
@ELBETOWE this one is the right answer
Awesome work love the detail 🏆
That little drip 💧 was everything g
I've known about this process for years now but never had the opportunity to do it myself! I admire your tanacity!
Yeah and to think when I was a kid people used to spray these on by hand no 2 were ever the same
It's tough and makes a ton of wasteful chemicals. If you don't have a shop be prepared to pay for hazmat removal
That's dope. What a fun Job.
That red is beautiful and goes well with the pattern. ❤
I LOVE IT TOO!👍🏾💯👀😎
For those who wonder how these layer of paint are made
They use a printed sheet and spray a solvent to turn it into a layer of paint
*I don't know much about it
But just wanted to share anyway
Congratulations, how do you feel?
Ahh.. I see.. Thanks man been questioning that 👊
@Melophylic why you didn't Google it if you were wondering? 🤔
It's like ink on a sheet of plastic, and the solvent dissolves the plastic leaving only the ink to be picked up by the item
,lindo
Looks great.
I just imagine if you dont do it the right speed the shapes will come out all wonky and misshapen
The finished product looks amazing
Awesome. I've tried small versions of this for art purposes up to 12" x 12" and you are RIGHT! It takes a very steady hand to get it right! Probably the only person I saw wearing protective gear for this work. Kudos
amazing result...beautiful one..
I could watch that all day. It's got that asmr touch to it.
I’m high asf…ngl I got lost for a sec 😂😂😂
Gd this is awesome!
Want this done to my RatRod, now!
Oh my goodness that is just so beautiful
My only fear of these things is that if someone were to accidentally scratch it, I’d lose my mind. But it sure looks sweet!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
You put 1 or 2 coats of clear paint over it...
Need to be able to put it thru a carwash 🧽🧼💦
@CONTINUUM SANCTUM nooooo. Don’t use car washes. They RUIN your paint!! Wash by hand at home!
@KeeMarie Not allowed here 😒
That's awesome i have a carbon fiber hood on my car it would look so sick if i could print some black graphics (something like that) on the black/grey carbon fiber hood.
mans hands are as stable as a watch makers
Honestly, this is very cool to see. Huge applause for the people who take the time and effort to do all of this
That shits tight got a bad ass job brodie
Ive always wondered what is the durability like on this stuff? And does it add any corrosion resistance when applied to metals?
that one looks really nice 👍
😢😂
fr
If only there were two "like" buttons!
Love hydro dipping stuff I do it for fun sometimes lolll
that'd be a job I'd enjoy doing
I already love good art, and that looks satisfying
Don't remember asking
@Chin Chuck well remember being told 🤷🏾♂️
Well you’re gonna be replaced by AI soon anyways 😂
@SeppuKun until it happens get in where you fit in 🤷🏾♂️
I dont use a mask, the hydrodip room be getting me so high 😊
I love the snap-crackle-pop sounds it makes, it reminds me of when I pour the milk into my Kellogs Rice Krispies Cereal.
that artwork would be unrecognizable, my hands be shaking like 40 going north 😂😂😂 ❤❤❤ great job
me 41 east
I65 south through Ky, pot hole and patch job central.
I bet that's actually your real name only you left out the first name, Precious 😂
@ChulookinatBro who?
@Thomas Russell plug in, grandpa
This Process has always tripped me out.. Pretty awesome 😍
"MOM I WANNA BE A PROFESSONAL HYDRO DIPPER WHEN I GROW UP!"
"Why son?"
"BECAUSE ITS SATIFYING!"
That looks really good 👍🏻
Woman do something similar to this with nail art to get a marble design.
That’s nothing like my nail tech does for marbling design
that is sick!
“You have to have a very steady hand” proceeds to show us a shakey hand
That's beautiful looks kool come out amazing 🤩 ✌️😎👀

No way someone saw that pattern and was like you that’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!
I've seen this before and it's still freaking AWESOME!!! Looks great
Saw them doing digital prints on some helmets. Pretty neat but I wanna see the set up process after each dip!
Got to agree with this video
That was the most satisfying thing to watch and my jaw hit the floor with the results
Amazing
That’s the best sound I’ve ever heard.
It’s incredible! This stuff always seems to amaze me. Talk about having a steady hand!
Beautiful work.
That is actually dope
That feeling you get when you hate the skin they're putting on the part but still wanna see how it turns out
Awesome results! 👍😎
Now that’s dope
This is one of the very best examples of this technique. Usually these clips proudly show how the decals are strerched into a weird mess that looks like a kid got a can of fingerpaint, but this result looks like something I would accept and happily pay money for if I needed it.
Yeah but you'll never need it. 😂
❤
Those are probably not made by dissolving a transfer film, they have just poured different inks on the water surface, barrista fashion.
@stettan1 Go look again my friend. No baristas in this short.
Remarkable artwork
That was clean
The wait was worth it ❤
NOW THAT! was one of the most trippen things I have seen in a while! Very Cool!
That would have been even better if I was trippen! I'm in my 60s but because of this video, I think I need to take another Trip! Thanks for the Vid.
仕上がり良すぎ
Okay now this is a epic gamer moment.
That's an amazing job & a really insane design & process
So cool. Can confirm, satisfying loop.
How hard is it to mess this up? If you do how do you fix it? Always curious about this when I see these.
I've done plenty in my garage. It's easy and a quick sand and re paint is all that's needed to try again.
@Bot but how long does is last ?
@Khouaja Ahmedforever. It gets clear coated like normal paint
dip too fast or in wrong angle and the decal film breaks or stretches all wonky, so pretty easy
Pretty awesome stuff
Not all hydro dipping needs steady hands but for the hydro dipping your doing it does actually takes so much skill good job
That’s amazing!!!
Yup

I highly doubt everyone else is doing this for their nails, it's a very time consuming way of doing it. Lots of steps involved.
That is awesome!
Dude, that's Badass.
God this is like visual asmr. So satisfying
WOW MAN‼️‼️‼️
YOU ARE AN ARTIST‼️‼️‼️SERIOUSLY TO DIP SOMETHING THAT LARGE & HAVE IT COME OUT THAT GORGEOUS‼️I’M SPEECHLESS ‼️‼️‼️🙏🏼🫶🏼🙏🏼
I had trouble applying decals to an Airfix model
“Damn I messed up”
We gotta go bald
@Bruh Moment waaaaahhhh
Such a little but wholesome comment section
@Bruh Moment “WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SCRATCHES ON THIS WHEEL WELL?”
“I used a razor on it”
“WHY?!”
“I messed up, so we had to go bald.”
