Against the King you could have - played 9 cost kaido to pop the blocker - use black maria to gain dons back - use leader effect to trash the life - swing for 5, 7, 8, 10 to have guaranteed lethal GG anyways for winning that game, purple Kaido looks very fun, will surely try it

I just got to this duel, and was about to type the same thing lol. I also play Kaido. I love the look on Opp's faces when I run the Black Maria -> Leader Effect combo [muhuhahahahaha] P.S. I'm a player from Japan. Kaido can still catch people off guard in OP08.5 XD
Sometimes against decks without removal i play Maria on 2 and just start using leader ability. It only sets me back 2 but i can do it back to back to get an early 2 life
When I see Kaido 9 on Hand. And I have Black Maria On Board. Its combo is just. Play Kaido, Activate Black Maria then leader ability. Then swing with all your might.
Take out the king and replace it with bon clay and 2 of the Maria blockers Take out all the 9c kiados and replace them with 4 gear 5 Gear 5 is such a better character in kiado
@@CryptKrow the 2c 2k power 1k counter versions Great for early game plays and really comes in hand as well as being a solid searchable blocker And the bon clay is just a solid way to ramp for kiado
