True, but the 1/4 & 1/2 farthing were only issued for use in India & (then) Ceylon and the 1/3rd farthing was only circulated in Malta, the Groat was issue for the London Omnibus Company to alleviate the need for change, but the double Florin had a limited life as it was confused with the Crown and nicknamed the 'Barmaids Folly'
The 1852 3d has a mintage of 4,488. I can tell you THREE Pennies that are rarer than the 1933! The 1851 Florin is a Proof - next lowest mintage is the 1869 with 297,000 (I own one). You've missed out the 1853 Gothic Crown, which has a mintage of 460. Then there's the exceedingly rare 1879 Crown!
I have very old coins would like to know their worths/values please.... how can I send you images of which to get your feedback on their quality and values please. Thanks.
In these times of crisis I have decided to look for the rarest coins in the world and because of the situation that these coins are experiencing, I know that they are going to be worth a huge fortune and they are like 4 coins out of 5 of the most sought after. two of them become very rare because there are only less than 5 coins some have them in a museum the others are certified and these that I found would be the third one of them their value rose to more than ten million dollars imagine these
The rarest penny is a tie between those dated 1954 and 1952 where only a single example of each exist. The 1954 penny entered circulation which is where it was found.
There are TWO 1954 Pennies now, and yes, the 1952 Penny is Unique, and I have a very good picture of it, from a coin dealer. I also have a very good picture of the Unique 1808 Penny, from same dealer. They were sold in 2018 for around £130,000 each. The 1952's existence wasn't even known until 1997.
@@BitsAndBobsCoins It's actually not very valuable, but has an interesting story attached to it. When I was seven years old (1943) a friend gave me a threepenny piece as payment for a found object which I had and he really liked: my first sales experience! Shortly afterwards we were summoned to the sitting room where there were a lot of adults and I was obliged to return the threepenny piece to my friend. I did not understand why. I don't remember getting the object back. Life went on. Forty years later I was in a rented property in France, a converted hunting lodge, with big beams. I was preparing lunch and the main beam supporting the stairway was right over the cooking stove. Being tall, I hit my head on this beam as I bent to to stir the soup; I was about six inches from the beam, which had a few cracks in it. Right in front of my eyes I saw, wedged in a crack.... a threepenny piece...dated 1943. Make of that what you will!
There's a good website called, Values of coins of the UK , by Tony Clayton, everything from fractional farthings to £5 quintuple Gold sovereigns , he shows all the values from F - EF condition also uncirculated . You are right when you say lowest circulation mintage but there are others such as the 1850 1850/49 over date shilling worth far more than the one you show . Good vid though 👍

I have the 1937 three pence coin for sale
جورج خامس سنه 1932 برونز
Why is the 1933 the rarest? Surely it wasn’t meant for circulation so counting that one out, what is the rarest 1d?
With a mintage of 1,182,720 the 1868 1d is a low mintage, this we found in the book about coins which is a great video we would suggest to watch.
@@BitsAndBobsCoins What about the 1950 and 1951 Pennies???
