aleah marie those strap covers can actually cause the baby to slip right out of the car seat if they were in an accident. And the chest clip is supposed to go on his chest, not across his stomach.
Thank you to everyone here for telling me and other people this. I didn't know. I'm not pregnant, and won't be for a while, but now I know and can tell it to other people I know and keep that in mind for when I get a baby in the future. Such important information!
Just a heads up you shouldn't have those things on the straps. Things that don't come with the car seat shouldn't be added because they are not crash tested for that car seat. And it's stops the chest plate from being in the right place it should be exact with the arm pits. Not judging just ensuring his safety because most don't know

Cushioned straps adds bulk to the baby's body which may cause the infant to move around in/ slip out of a car seat in the event of a crash. Choking hazards are not a main concern as much as them flying out of the carseat in a crash ,as you cannot properly do the pinch test with cushions in the way, especially they are not included with the carseat.

Ya know even though Im way past having babies you gave some pretty good advice. When my little grandson was born he was so small and my daughter and I were to scared to put him in a big tub ECT. And then we found a giant wooden salad bowel to put him in and it worked PERFECT.
He’s so cute. And he’s so laidback and chill. My son was the same 20 years ago lol. I truly envy anyone who can have children. I became ill after I had my son and had to have a hysterectomy and I’ve always wanted more. So watching you videos help me thanks for sharing

The pooping thing is true for some. Only 1 out of my 3 of my ebf kids didn't poop everyday or even every 3-5 days. The other poop were poop machines, almost every diaper was filled with poop. Lol

I am 10 Weeks postpartum and the best advice I can give you is to not stress out and take it easy on yourself. Everything right now is a lesson, not only for you but for baby Too. Dont worry about anything or anyone else... focus on your previous baby. They grow so fas!!! At 10 Weeks you will be shocked at how different baby is!!! Congratulations and take in every moment!

Hey Mama! The aftermarket strap covers have to come off of his car seat. They don’t allow for a proper fit and are not crash tested ❤️
