DESCRIPTION:
The APPLLP PRO is an Android 10 smartwatch identical to the Rogbid PANDA PRO reviewed earlier. I am very disappointed in how badly the actual watch compares with the advertised specs. Waterproofing appears to be OK still after the 30 min water test at the end of the video, but the GPS, heart rate monitoring, and especially the resolution of both cameras leaves a lot to be desired.

Thanks for the encouragement. It's a broad market to cover with so many smartwatch categories these days, but every day is like Christmas around here, and I love tinkering and talking about this stuff, so I'll stick around as long as possible.
Be aware that this is old stock of the Panda Pro from 2 years ago.
It didn't sell because they are incredibly unreliable and the under screen camera means that the real usable screen size is 1.6" if that.
The battery is around 900mah and camera is 5MP, not as advertised.
This is not Lokmat's fault. It's from the factory.
Original price was around $200 usd and it's been dropped to shift this old stock.

Totally agree and thanks for the background information on this. It is soooo identical to the Panda Pro that I simply reran the old review on this one (sorry guys, but it is as it is). What's interesting is that fewer and fewer different Android watches are on the market these days, and with few new ones announced, we may see a day when eBay is the only way to score one of these. I'm still a fan of the Prime 2 and Optimus 2, and would love to see version 3 of both of them come out someday. Till then, we trodd along with what's available, I guess.
Please suggest me an under display camera watch .. with good battery and camera quality...not like this one something better

Guys, what would you suggest? You've all had yours for quite a bit of time now. Any shine above the rest?
The only full Android watch I tried was the tickras max. The microphone broken less than a year although they did send me a new one for free and let me keep the old one. But by then I had sort of lost interest because it takes so long to charge and also annoyingly it doesn't let me manually set the time or at least it won't stay set.
And if I tell it to automatically set the time it's always wrong. I mean I live in the Eastern Standard Time in the United States you would think this would be simple enough.
It works fine to watch UA-cam videos and download Google Play apps and I could even play Stadia games on it when that still existed.
I would download the Google assistant app and use a third party launcher and set it up so I can double tap for assistance and it was pretty functional.
But would I buy one again? Almost certainly not. To me I would probably be wear os or amazfit... or as boring as it sounds maybe even just an old fashioned regular watch

As soon as you swim in a swimming pool on holiday for example, ALL of these watches DIE! This is the Rogbid PANDA PRO and they are useless in real life. Sad but true. I have them all and NONE of these are waterproof. They don’t last a day with the battery life!
Cameras lens go foggy 🌫
Don’t go in the shower or swim or go in a hot environment and it may last 6 months to year MAYBE!
Apple all day long now!

Why was the android smartwatch discontinued?
Many people debate that question, but my feel is that the open Android protocol worked well in earlier versions, in particular Android 5 and 7. Stuff shifted when Android 9 and 10 started being used and the market lost control of some of the features and security protocols. Combined with the consistent bulky, thick look of most of them, and the short sales life for most models, the brands simply decided to chase other markets, like the ruggedized mil-spec watches with basic features. We're all hoping the ROGBID Model X ( ban.ggood.vip/13VSw ) may inject some juice back into the game. If it succeeds, the other brands will, no doubt, follow. They always do. Again, there are many different views on the Android situation. This is just one.

1 - 2 days standby on an 1100mah battery i'll pass.
Battery life is highly dependent on how you use these watches, so if you keep the screen dim and off as much as possible, and the OS primed for low power battery management, you should see a few more days. Of course, why have the watch if you can hardly use it or see the screen, right? Guess that leads to regular daily charging. Yawn.
if it lasts untill evening with heavy use, I dont see a problem😊
