Lily, the eggs look so good! As a southern woman, I can confirm that butter or bacon grease is always the secret. And she added cheese and garlic! Young lady, you can cook for me any day of the week. 🙂

Tell Lilly if she lays a wet paper towel close by while chopping onions her eyes will not burn. The fumes from the onion are attracted to moisture. That's why our eyes burn. The moisture in the towel catches it before the eyes do. Way to go Lilly, keep up the good work. ❤
Lilly, your recipe is absolutely fabulous!! I made it and did one thing different, after adding the eggs and cheese I put the pan in the oven At 425 for 8 mins to finish cooking, it didn’t stick to the pan so much doing it that way. Thank you Lilly for the most amazing egg recipe
I've made Quiche with and/or without pie shell , both taste awesome, I'm going to try Lily's style next . Idea to substitute pie shell with hashbrowns ?

Justin, just a suggestion for when you redesign that little mineral sled… put the water behind the minerals so the minerals don’t get wet. Enjoyed this episode, especially Gideon’s strongly suggesting how to pass the chickens!
Who knew how useful chickens could be for something besides laying eggs. Lily's egg special is a killer! Can't believe how clever she is at such a young age. I would leave out the red pepper, not a favorite of mine, but otherwise it looked delicious. I was wishing I could smell it - can you imagine. I'm sorry her brothers couldn't have been more complimentary to her.
Lily is a great cook and such helper to the family, as are all the children. Praying for better health for all.

Good job Lily! I always catch my birds at night (about 1 hour after dark) rather than morning when they are starting to awake. That way they stay perched making it a whole lot less stressful on them and you. Plus they do not run around and they get to spend the night in their new home...just a suggestion for future.

I make this Lilly with the addition of chopped jalapeno. Such a joy to watch her be heavy on Butter and add garlic later so it doesn't turn bitter. Lilly your Amazing.
My gosh Lilly the breakfast you made was fantastic by the approval by papa himself and your brothers. Well done you are a marvel, you do so much, and milking the cows and all the other tasks you do. ok, I think I speak for all of us. We need to see more of Lilys cooking. She could put together a cookbook . and in it would be pictures of her milking the cows and taking care of the sheep. and anything else she does around the farm.

Cool trick for bell peppers, use your thumbs to press down around the stem. The stem and the seed ball will break around the stem and come out in one whole block, then you got nothing but pepper left to cut up and enjoy :D
Thanks for all your information and entertainment! I made a 7x7 chickshaw and it’s working great ! We were able to move it from one side the farm to the other with the atv very easily!

OMG! I also absolutely LOVE the scrapping of the bottom of the pan. I think it's the best part and people think I'm crazy but the melted cheese and scorched egg are good. Scorched bottom NOT burnt, just browned. Now I want an omelet like my momma makes, I could make it just as good but everything's better when your mom makes it lol

Sometimes I really wish we could add photos in comments. 😁 Just thought of a great ready-made chicken tractor. Use an old pickup truck's topper. It's the perfect size, already has a built in back door, most have sliding side windows. Just a few modifications and you'll have a clever mobile chicken tractor. You could also use an older camper trailer and use it for a chicken coop.

that's just like the omelets I make cook it partway on the pan on the stove stick it in the oven and broil for the rest It gets nice and fluffy

you should change the bedding every few weeks - you need to get a compost pile - it is easy and prevents burning plants
They only take the compost from under the deep bedding once a year.
@@tonygrimes13 not only is that suspect but they are missing out on adding it to a big compost pile - i call them dysfunctional but farming in large part is a dysfunctional business - better them than me

I live just inside our city limits and unfortunately a few years ago they banned backyard chickens. Really awful

The one thing that I don’t understand is why more gardeners, especially the ones on UA-cam don’t utilize there chickens in the gardens, high tunnels and raised beds like how you do it. It’s mind boggling… especially in the off-season and winter.
