I'm moving to Georgia too to start my nail journey. RUNNING from IL (no im not coming from Chicago 🙄) girl I been trapped here too long and i work from home so the whole southern experience is going to be new for me. I'm so nervous bc i do not create content but a social person at all but i do a lot of creative projects i just don't put it out there bc I'm just too afraid to do it. It's inspiring to see so many ppl who are doing the same thing sometimes i feel like I'm making a mistake but i won't know if i don't try.
As cold as u are, girl u need your own salon, them people need to be working for YOU!!!! REAL TALK u are the BEST, I watch a lot of videos and ur work is where it's at, u have been blessed in this line of work no doubt!

I also worked in a Vietnamese salon for 6 days. And you're right, they do try to throw you on pedicures. I say go to a black owned nail salon. Or take that risk. I'm currently in my own suite with no clients. We should talk girl because I know you can do it ❤️
I love Georgia. My old best friend lives there so I used to go like 2-3 times a year. I still go almost every year. You should link up with Tah. She’s in Georgia too. As far as clientele… go hard on tiktok. Whenever me and my wife wana find ANY service in a diff state we look at tiktok and go off that vs Instagram. I personally would start off in a shop in an area that’s close to a suite that you’ve already scoped out and know you can get. Get some clientele and migrate them lmao move them to the suite. As far as the shop… find a black nail salon maybe or one that’s MIXED and not all Vietnamese

I can’t even bring clientele from the shop to home. Cos this shop is so used to thin flat ugly nails. So they’re not well adjusted to nails with an apex and on a bit of the medium thicker side like us instagram nail techs. But good luck on your journey girl! I didn’t take not 1 shop client back to my house. All on instagram only. 😩

Im a hair stylist turned nail tech.My name used to be styleNSmile on here i chsnged it.Check me out when u get time.And far as your situation I honestly say crawl before you walk.Dont rush rt into your own suite.Get out, take your cards wherever u go,pass them out to everyone n of course keep yo nails flyyyyy.Meet people ,network,get yourself out there in that city and the clients will come, cause u bomb n whats for you is for you. And believe that n let God do the rest.You got this n make sure they know you on utube cause Babbbbi once they see how u get down, you gone b most wanted.Whatever you do take it to God first and let Him know you want him to lead the way ,that way your steps will already be blessed in Him.For He knows whats ahead ,so b sure he knows you care that Hes leading.I hope everything you desire works out .
