This was awesome. I’d love to see a 1-2. Maybe it could have a hand-drawn theme? It might also be cool if each world had a theme, so maybe for the first world, it’d have a real world aesthetic to all the levels, and then world 2 is themed around other Mario games, and so on
these always catch my attention, especially how much detail goes unnoticed because your too late looking at everything around you, you sometimes remember that Nintendo has the perfect chance to hire people like him
I would honestly love a Mario game that was like this, especially one that looks back at the legacy of Mario, and shows their love to the series. My only criticism is in this, it'd be hard to tell what's a pipe and what isn't, but I absolutely love the whole "miniature Mario in a living room" feel of this!
On the one hand, this looks so awesome. On the other hand, it also looks confusing. It’s hard to tell what’s the foreground or not (like the platforms at 0:47 or the exit pipe at 1:26).
I think this might be my favorite video on UA-cam. Period. SMB3 was my first game and is probably my favorite game of all time. This recreation/reimagining is simply perfect IMO. It just captures that fun and playful vibe that you got from playing the game.
@@HatLovingGamer absolutely. I hope you get some time to make another level some day. Were you actually able to play this, or is this just an amazingly well put together video.
When I was a kid, I didn't understand english that well and, would just go after people making this type of content and, asking them for a download link haha
Dude this was so good! This really shows how much you have improved since the Mario 1 Remastered video. I loved all of the references in this video too. Keep up the amazing work as always!!
man this is unbelivable. MIXING 2D / 3D IS THE BEST DESIGN IDEA I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR A 2D REMAKE . I suppose this is a vidéo editing and not a real game, i'm right ? If not, it is possible to find the game somewhere (even a demo is ok for me) ? AGAIN : GREAT WORK
well given your normal kind of work i was never expecting anything of this calibur. like DAMN man, its sort of like Yoshi's Crafted World but much cooler and MUCH cleaner looking. having the pipe area way off in the background was a neat idea too.
It's all animated? *Mind blown*. The 3-D effect is so lifelike. Even the shadows and reflections are so realistic. Would love to see some kind of 'making of' -documentary of your work process. But I understand if you want to keep it "magical" ;)
this gives me serious pvz real life pak vibes because of so many reasons, those being amazing music, realistic design and it still gives off feelings of nostalgia even though it looks almost entirely different
So _Mario 3,_ but it's _Yoshi's Crafted World._ 'Aight. This is rendered very beautifully; it'd definitely make for a fun injection into the well-worn _Mario_ formula. Great work!
man this would be a good idea if Nintendo made it, like a re-make of a old game but in a play room like this, it is using the old game but the new concept will be that the back ground is a room as if a kid was playing with toys or something.
Only 3 flaws present in the animation. - Item Get sound is from NES - P-Switch/Toad House music is from NES - Respawning Red Koopa Troopa falls from the sky instead of falling from their original position Other than that, huge improvement over your older "SMB1 HD" Quite a good job with the environmental design too!
Thanks, as for the red koop, because it's widescreen it should be off-screen, so that one would've had to teleport otherwise, the moment it lands is when it appears on screen ;) I'm releasing the footage it was based on next week so seeing them together it makes more sense :)
Well, "hope dies last" they say but it dies with the Nintendo company from today. If they can't even get a good emulator running for their Switch-Online-Network, how could they possibly even think of doing something like this... Great job by the way! If I were a Nintendo-CEO you would be hired! :P
@@HatLovingGamer You're welcome! I'm always impressed what you do with your skills. I know how time costly animating sprites can be. I have tried making some animations for a Simon the Sorcerer Fanproject but it wasn't meant to be (and I wasn't really that skilled) but it was fun as long as it lasted! :D
This honestly reminds me of Super Mario Beads. Is this what the adventures of the SSB counterparts of game characters look like to Master and Crazy Hand considering how they're either toys or trophies?
This is freaking incredible, the CGI and tracking is really good, with the implantation of gameplay footage
Thank you :)
@@HatLovingGamer Shouldn't Toad's running sprites be more like his SMB2 sprites?
@@HatLovingGamer I want this to be a series. Like an actual series.
Why do you say?
I can't get over how great this is. Would love to see a game made with this visual style.
Thank you! :)
That level of detail/lighting is never going to happen on Switch, but nice animation.
@@HatLovingGamer 🙃looking forward to seeing your next video
Well if you tone down the details then it would run Nintendo switch
@@cool_dragon202 its not about if the switch could run this

Finally, Mario 3 with RTX: ON.

I love how you can see the reflections and shadows of the various sprites and objects in this video!

holy crap this looks amazing! the background can easily pass for one from a yoshi game

Wow thank you 😊
you welcome, you deserve a job from Nintendo
@@HatLovingGamer you should send this as a idea to Nintendo and maybe they reward you for it if they do pick it up.
