Ordered one of these for my slickster cause I really wanted QD’s to improve the service life of the Velcro, and make it easier to don & doff the carrier really quickly. Excited to see how it works for me
Cummerbunds are articles of clothing or belt supports. Should I thank Germany and France everytime I use this hodge-podge melange gutter mouth language? No. Do I thank the Arabs for Algebra? No. Do I thank Indians for the word cummerbund? No. It is a word. That's it
Great product but can we STOP using the term "cummerbun"? A cummerbun is something you wear with a tuxs. And yes it sounds gay and not tactical. Try using these examples: Horizontal strap, side strap, waist band, side band, kit wrap, cinch band, elastic band or velcro wrap. Anything but cummerbun.
First of all, the word is “cummerbund” and it’s called that because that’s what it is. It probably sounds gay to you because of your own personal issues.
Not to mention original "cummerbunds" were named as such because they were load bearing which also kept the plates aligned. IDK why that concept disappeared. Now what they call cummerbunds are just straps.
I have the hybrid and been training with my current setup! It’s been holding up very well! Great product!
Will it sag if you run side plates i don’t know if I want the structural or hybrid 🙈
@@TheJoeml85I don't run side plates so I cannot answer that question. I have run two fully loaded mags and it does sag.
I’m waiting for there structural hybrid cummerbund to come out
Just received my Mepc carrier with hybrid cummerbund. By far the most versatile easy setup I've ever owned.
Ordered the elastic QD from Wraith defense on the 11th, should be here in a day or two. Can't wait.
Nice Islander Watch
Just bought the elastic version after seeing it on TFBtv, been waiting for something like this.

What does the structured one differ from standard molle?
What shirt are they wearing in the video?
They? You don’t have to worry about pronouns here. He’s wearing a shirt

Yes, for side plate bags we recommend the mesh cummerbund.

Again this product and its name originates from an Indian piece of apparel with the same name.
