Whenever I see athletes, but basketball players in particular, squaring up and acting like they want to fight, I have to laugh. You're not gonna fight anyone, you're not gonna fight, period. You're a basketball player. You're not a fighter. A little life lesson - In any tense situation, in any situation at all, actually, the loudest, most hyper, most vocal guy is always, one hundred percent of the time, actually the weakest, most fear-ridden and terrified. If you checked his pulse it would be through the roof. The reason he is so loud and aggressive towards others is because he is hoping to intimidate everyone else around him. Whereas, the most calm, quiet and observant is actually the most dangerous, because he doesn't feel the need to prove to anyone he is anything he is not. How many times have we all seen that guy, the guy who has to raise his voice and threaten those around him, get slept on the spot? And it's always be the guy who is the opposite to him, he's quiet, he's speaking calmly, he just wants peace. And he gets it when he silences the overaggressive guy by separating his consciousness. Basketball has always had this, but over the past few years is gotten worse - Draymond Green is probably top of the list, Joel Embiid, Dillon Brooks, Devin Booker, along with a few others, but it's always the same guys. I just wish they were intelligent enough to know all of this. I mean, it's available to them, if they don't want to actually learn about it, you can observe it through movies, but it applies to real life too, that why movies use this trait, because it's true. It's so cringeworthy at this point, it's actually taking away from the enjoyment of the game.
cmon don't be stupid. Many of these people have come from rough places and have definitely been down to scrap before. Just look at James Johnson and Damian Lillard
