@@HipHopjunkieshow fair enough dude! I suppose it all comes down to personal preference! I’m not educated or familiar enough with American hiphop to say he’s the best or better than the next person. Everyone has their favourite and to me it’s probably Ghetts, so I guess I’m just happy that you are at least enjoying some of his work! I’m sure that artists from the states and in your area would be more relatable to you and vice versa. And yeah man Doogz is possibly the coldest out of the uk, but for me there’s other artist that rival his flows/lyrics/content/delivery, like Kano and wretch 32 to name a few, that are also more consistent. I just think out of all these things, for me, Ghetts ticks the most boxes. Again, I don’t really listen to American music, so I’m just thinking UK. @@HipHopjunkieshow I don‘t know in you should be comparing us and uk artist, with people like Ghetts there are some lines with like 3-4 meanings and if you already misshear „think of before“ as „finger before“ even with a relisten then I don‘t think you‘ll fully grasp the lyrics. I for example won‘t understand all the refrences and meanings of an Aesop Rock song or the others you meantioned so they won‘t be as Hard to me as they are to you. Not saying you shouldn‘t listen or judge but i think trying to make an objective statement about who is better if you are a lot more familiar with US accent, culture and slang(or the other way around) is very hard.
