omg same im terrified of them whenever i know there's an upcoming storm say like 4 am i will try to sleep and hope that i sleep through it but no i will literally wake up exactly at 4 am.. even if i dont know theres a storm i will wake up at the slightest rumble and i REFUSE to sleep until its over.
I slept during a severe thunderstorm and realized that the power went out for hours and I felt the heat which the air conditioner wasn’t working, I was sweaty with no air, I kept my eyes closed when lightning flashes. Even though a big thunderclap shook the whole damn house like it was an earthquake. I felt the shake but I didn’t care and still slept with no danger.💀
For those who don’t understand, Mom and Dad were awoken by thunderstorms during the night, but Luke was fast asleep and slept through the entire storm without hearing anything about it, which is why when mom told him about the storm, he replied “What Storm”?
My family ALWAYS talkes about storms that happen in the night, and then they ask me if I heard it and I just say "no, didn't hear a thing" and they're always so surprised to hear that from me.
