  • Hi Creatives,
Let´s create some amazing looking softbody simulation together with a tech product by using the powerful cloth engine in Cinema 4D 2023.2.
    This is my patreon...
    / 3dbonfire
I´m excited about the new simulation framework for Cloth, Ropes and... Soft Bodies of course! It´s just so much faster and reliable and I see so many new ways how I can put this into my daily workflow as a 3D Artist.
With the release of Cinema 4D 2023 you get lot´s of new possibilities to create amazing and playful simulations for your 3D artworks. So let´s create this transparent Donut, filled with beautiful Soft Body Subsurface Jell-o´s.
PS: Impress your friends and pretend that you are learning Houdini;-).
    Say hello on instagram...

Brilliant tutorial - I learnt a lot! Can I just ask how you get the high poly object to follow the movement of the collider in your final animation? I've tried to make something similar but I can't figure out how to get the high poly model to follow the low poly collider... Thanks in advance!

Hi, oh for example when you use low-poly headphones as collide objects, then just put them as a child under the high-poly headphones. and make them invisible. now you only see the high-res headphone, but the low-res headphone is in the correct position and moves with its parent. does that make sense?
