Power Book: Coalition (crossover spin-off merger of Books II and IV)
Synopsis:
A drug organization is messing with Tommy's drug operation in Chicago and Tariq and Brayden's operation in New York. The leader of that organization is a woman name Alex and she got a past with Tommy
Alex's background: Alex was originally born in Chicago but spent most of her childhood in New York. She met Kanan in the Raising Kanan era off-screen. Raq taught her how to use a gun. Marvin found a nice home for Alex. Alex didn't see Kanan again until she met Ghost and Tommy in high school. It was actually the four of them who ran the streets with Breeze. Alex got caught and sent to prison. Alex was pregnant at the time. Ghost used to put money on her books. Ghost and Tasha visited Alex couple times after Tariq and Raina were born. Alex let her sister raise her kids until she got out. After Alex was released, she got her kids back and never seen Ghost and Kanan again. Alex went back to Chicago afterwards. She taught her kids the game as they got older. Alex kidnap Tommy, Diamond, Tariq, and Brayden.
Plot Twist: Tommy is the father of Alex's kids.
Alex never told him or Ghost about her pregnancy.
Alex want revenge on Tommy for breaking her heart
Alex's kids are the same age as Tariq
Alex encountered Monet and Lorenzo once a long time ago
Alex met Angela in high school the same time she met Ghost and Tommy
She was close to Jukebox
She crossed paths with Liliana once but fell out
She was shocked to learn that Ghost and Tasha set up Kanan, Shawn getting killed by Kanan, Tasha and Angela set up Kanan to get killed by the police, and Tariq killing Ghost

Tommy is going to let Diamond run the drug operation in Chicago while Tommy works on taking over California. That’s my theory.
People want Tommy and Tariq on their own show but Tommy is the better actor by a mile and Tommy is the better character again by a mile so Tariq would just be background and that’s the reality

So they go on a kill spree and go to war with all theri enemies from all different areas but the real enemy is ghost who’s doing all of it

I may be in the minority, but I'm not really a fan of a Tariq and Tommy spinoff together. Their characters and lives/storylines work better separately. Seeing them together every now and then during a crossover is fine, but not a permanent show together. I'm tired of seeing Tariq always needing help from characters from the OG Power like Tommy and Tasha. It's time that we see him man up and make this journey on his own without them.

Waiting for the actors to grow up is a weird way to run a business/Empire. Diana dies. Its all but confirmed in the season 4 episode 6 or 7 synopsis. Cane will survive. Thats it. The new show will be in Cali or Miami. Ghost is returning and together he and Tommy will take Rudolpho’s business over and they will give Tariq and Cane the same mentoring that Kanan and Breeze gave to them. They will then disappear and retire from the game and leave Riq and Cane to run things.

I haven’t read the comments but you mentioned how new location couldn’t be Chicago or New York. To me it doesn’t really matter where the location is but you had mentioned it can’t be New York cause Tommy is considered dead in New York.
That wouldn’t keep it from being in New York though necessarily. Why do I say that well cause from what I hear when you say it can’t be in NY cause he’s considered dead that wouldn’t prevent it from being in NY.
By this point people already know Tommy is still alive. The feds know which means the government know including the agencies in New York.
You could go as far as saying the streets don’t know he’s alive but the only reason it made sense for him to stay out of NY was cause the government agencies and because it gave him an upper hand since no one knew him.
So to say NY is out of the question isn’t really true. HOWEVER, I do agree that it probably won’t be in set in NY.
My opinion is they will head over to LA and or maybe LA for a bit and then overseas. Especially if we find out that Ghost never died and shows up healthy and alive at the end of Power Book 2 episode 5 or in part 2 of Power Book 2 for the final 5 episodes. Because I feel like they will all be on the run and getting out of the states will be the most logical move to get around freely for a time being lol. Cause eventually it won’t matter where they end up the heat will be on their tails regardless of location.
