I wish Threezero would step up their game honestly. Sure their prices are lower but the quality just doesn't hit the bar imo. They have some really cool licenses like The Witcher, The Walking Dead, Fallout etc. and it'd be great to have those figures in quality that's up to part with HT etc.
@@Meowtro then blame Hot Toys for not picking up the license when they could’ve. The quality matches the price I’m not sure what you were expecting for a figure under the two hundred dollar mark….
@@cmbrock1 I wasn't expecting anything. I know what Threezero does. I'd just prefer if they upped their game cause as it stands all of their live action figures are pretty shit.
@@JustinsCollection Well, at least the facesculpt is accurate, you can kinda make it a bit paler with some modding. Besides that, it looks great. In the other, this new figure has no saving grace.
ThreeZero, please, for the love of God, DISPLAY BASES!!!!!!! This guy, the Chainsawman line, the G.I. Joe figures…..all figures I’d love to be able to put in dynamic poses. I’m happy I found someone selling custom G.I. Joe and Cobra bases, but no luck with Chainsawman.
Thanks for the review Justin. I'm glad I skipped on this figure. I did a bodyswap with my buzztoys figure (TTM20) and its near perfect in my eyes, just need to get Duke to work his magic on a headsculpt with rooted hair! I found it interesting that your buzztoy sculpt looks so red, as mine definitely does not. Perhaps a bit of discrepancy in their paint department? Keen to see what SooSooToys can give us now.
Overall not bad, though they seem to struggle with live action faces. Their anime/transformers lines are wonderful though and for their asking prices is nothing to scoff at either!
Got to have it in my collection too. The Witcher is a cool tv series, but not many people know that there is an oryginal movie from a 2001 Polish fantasy movie directed by Marek Brodzki and written by Michał Szczerbic. The story is based on the books and stories of The Witcher written by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.
That Polish movie is also a cut of a Polish TV show that's slightly older, I believe, and allegedly better, though I can't attest to that. They made a season of the show and then whittled it down into a movie as well for some reason.
Forgive me Justin!? I don't see it at all Friend! That Geralt 1/6 Scale Figure, doesn't Looked like Henry Cavill! It Looked more like John Travolta from Staying Alive (1983) Movie. But the only things I'm Digging, his Outfit and Accessories as well. I Know you're very Knowledgeable when it comes to Finding Customed Headsculpts from different Companies. I don't Remember watching Witcher Season 3 but I watched Witcher Season 1 I believe. Not a Bad Series but I Lost interest after that. No Matter, Excellent Video as always! 😎😎😎👍👍
So the Medallion there is a something all witchers make once they’ve finished their training. It vibrates when it senses magic and monsters close. So it’s almost like a spider sense ! Or a Witcher sense !
First of all, I'm a fan of your reviews man you are doing great i hope you are well and all the best. Now im a big fan of the Witcher universe and, of course, of Henry Cavill I'll be honest, Yes, it's not the best, but I'm very satisfied with reviews as i can be. I see Henry on the head sculpture as positive as it can be, but if I can find a better head sculpt, please help me out(I'm still waiting fro mine most probably next month he's coming home)
Headsculpt is fine. Paintjob/contrasts are the problem. We should differentiate between the 3d modeling of the head -> the sculpt itself, and the post-processing that follows, in terms of painting and shading. Its the post-processing that is a problem here, not the geometry. Even so - its a good enough "headsculpt" for an "off the shelf" product. Good enough - not great. S3 Geralt's eyes are darker. There's not enough color/contrast in the eyes and surrounding area on this particular figure. He looks "younger".
For the price of $180, it's not a bad figure. That paint app on the headsculpt is atrocious. The marketing photo shows the true potential of that portrait and it's a shame that it's covered up by bad paint. Please explain why they used a rubber arm and torso when those are completely hidden under garments and severely limits the articulation? Threezero seems to do that a lot in their figures and I put it squarely in the Cons. The coat needs a lot of futzing because it's so baggy. This figure looks like it was manufactured a decade ago, a bit behind the times.
@@JustinsCollection I was going to mention that same thought with the body re-use. I agree, with the re-paint because you can see in the production shots that it's good underneath.
For the long-time (15 years) Witcher fan's eyes, the outfit from 3rd season is definitely the best one, and from the 2nd is the worst one. Witchers are known to be very agile, not wearing heavy armor, and black jacket is the outfit Geralt wears in the book source material. 3rd one is the most faithful look- and lore-wise. The gladiator armor from 2nd season is better suited to be Conan's armor that Geralt's, there is no simplicity in the design. In 1st season the outfit was ok, the silver studs and black colour are a win, but the design is also too broad and sturdy for my taste. For the figure, it's a shame the hair are so dark gray. The White Wolf alias came from his hair white as milk. The medallion looks great though.
Jeez 😂 Way to keep a guy excited to make videos! Jokes aside I'm a dad now, I have limited time to make videos with a 1 year old running around so I'm doing the best I can!
Not gonna lie, that headsculpt and paint are atrocious, as they are. But can I really fault it for the price, though? Idk. Everything else looks quite good.
I dont know, i like the threezero outfit better imho off-course. But the sculpt is not that good. And why dont they find a way to give just rooted hair?! And dont come with the its to expensive lines dude's, because ymtoys has a type of hair piece, and it works realy good. Id prefer that over a big chunk of plastic. I love my hellboy (David Harbour) but the hair, dude, so much plastic.... i really think that there is a way to get these figs with longer hair style, to hook up with rooted hair..... because the price these days for hot toys, man alive, insane.... so it can be calculated in thete somewhere i believe..... but again this is just imho off-course....
That’s a Star Ace level of Headsculpt… yuck!
Star Ass
I think it's far better than star ace
I almost got this. 😂. Thanks for review Justin. This saved me money
No probs, happy to help no matter what

But Hot Toys are more expensive like you said so why would Threezero meet the bar of a more expensive company?
@@cmbrock1 because then they could also raise the price. I'd rather pay $280 for a good looking Geralt than $180 for... this...

The headsculpt looks off and id say the buzztoys one looks better there unfortunately.
Fair enough, even the red skin tone?

Ohh its Henry cavil, I thought it was liam Hemsworth, looks like the Ai trailers 🤣🤣
Lol
Im looking forward to the Soosootoys S2 figure... When its released...
Same!
I love it but would definitely like a video game version of him as well as the rest of the characters.
Fair!
20 minutes for this figure when the face is closer to geralt of Bavaria than Geralt of Rivia, Henry Cavill of wish lmao
Oh gosh 😅

Maybe ThreeZero should focus solely on their transformer action figure, they seem to excel most in them
They kill it with TF
I was left waiting for a headsculpt swap with your other super fancy rooted hair witcher head
