Wondering how this works when the Founder/CEO is the visionary and also the Integrator? Does that mean you need a COO to take over Integration and have S/M, O, F all report to COO? Where would a CTO live in your structure?
Take the assessment to see where you best fit (are you a V or an I?) (rocketfueluniversity.com/assessments/). Take the Function where you belong 🙂 I see many founders who are natural Visionaries and, for the good of the organization, they should hire an Integrator (COO)
I often see IT as a Role under Finance. If IT is a big part of your business and if it should be a function on the leadership team, then create an additional "major function" that reports to the Integrator.
Great video. Thank you for sharing.

You're welcome! Glad it helped!
where are the other videos to get the financing?
AWESOME! :)
Thank you for your video, I found it very helpful. I will perform this exercise for my own small business.
You mentioned at the end seeking capital is a topic for another video - have you done one or know of one?
I don’t have any particular expertise in that area. I raised some $ via ‘angels’ when I started my VoIP telecom in 2002, but that was a pretty small raise via LLC members. I planned to tell that story someday.
@@paullevering5893 Thanks Paul. I'd be very interested in hearing your story. We have an Angle Investor network here in Western Australia which I am looking into. My husband and I are attending one of their public investor opportunity presentations next week to see it in action, however, I'm not sure it is for us when we consider our industry ... there are some sensitivities around it that I'm not sure are appropriate for a public presentation to fully unvetted potential investors. And I'm not sure what we would need data wise / offering wise / agreements etc. We are looking forward to finding out more.
