@@anaparada7219 Interesting language from a person who appears to think so highly of their own beliefs and opinions, and so little of the beliefs and opinions of others. I really feel rather sorry for a person who is so bitter about the world and life around them.
Why do you venture into the world of other people who, you evidently believe, are so different from you? Wouldn't you just be better off isolating yourself in an environment and community where you would feel more safe and secure and, hopefully, less threatened?
Unfortunately, your language appears to me to show you to be bigoted and less Godly than the people you are so keen to criticise.
I do hope you find peace in your life, Ana Parada. However, I think it will not visit you with your present attitude. You will certainly not change other people's opinions by shouting (youtube capital letters) and hurling verbal abuse at them.
With my Sincere Best Wishes for Your Future,
      Peter.

Well, the Angolan wedding tradition is similar with English wedding tradition in a bit. The difference consist on non application of Civil Partnership in Angola. Moreover, the Bride is a very important person to her father. That it to say, he will have to congregate all family members and vote for an invoice that will be given the Bride to deliver to the Groom. The virility of the Groom has be to tested commonly by the Bride's Aunt if he has positive marks, both of families will make an agenda for endowment purposes before the marriage. The expertise of Bride's cooking also must be tested by her future Mother in low. If you are interested for more details push me on chart through LinkedIn platform @Eduardo Nicolau

We married in a hamlet chapel which had been closed for years. We rehabilitated it ourselves with friends. Then we had a huge picnic, and I remember my grandmother who couldn't stop laughing because a horse went and ate her carrots from her plate. It was wonderful with little money spent.

Hi Anna, here in Australia we follow all the British traditions, and the laws are almost the same. Weddings can range from very formal affairs to very laid-back bashes, some can be very unconventional, I have been to all sorts. Some people from non-European or non-British traditions still follow the marriage traditions of their homelands. Being of Scottish heritage I have attended a family wedding in a kilt (mandatory for all male family members).
People of British/European descent can also choose to follow non-European traditions, a very good friend who is obsessed with Chinese culture was married in a red raw silk dress (a good luck colour) rather than the traditional white; before the day she gave me some of the material to make into a tie and pocket handkerchief for my suit. Weddings here can be expensive affairs too, a friend spent a crazy $100,000 (about £45,000), but most people spend much less than that!
Very tasteful and flattering dress by the way - good choice. Me: would like to be married in a garden, a small intimate affair.

Thank you, dear Anna. In Italy the wedding ceremony is quite similar. The religious wedding is held in a church during a mass. No book or anything come aroung to be signed by the congregation for the man and wife. The usual meal is at lunch time and lasts up to the evening, even though many people prefer to have a big dinner in the evening. The best greetings.

In Poland Weddings are celebrated pretty much the same way as in England. There's no such things as objections. If people wants to marry they go to the priest in their church and the Wedding is officially announced. This happens long before the celebration and if someone has objections, visits a priest and give the reason. Before the couple go to the church there is a blessing ceremony in bride's family home. Wedding party always begins with a toast and the couple breaks the glasses. Then they dance. Civil partnerships are not available in Poland.

You forgot the 4th response to “will you marry me?” Which is that the woman hops up and down happily while sobbing 😂
My fiancé asked my father for my hand and I think it’s still a very sweet and considerate thing to do.
I’m English but was raised in Germany so I never got to experience a typical British wedding before i started planning my own. Despite this I’m trying to add English elements to my wedding for myself and my English guests. My grandma even sent me a sixpence :)
When you spoke about objections you could have explained about “calling the banners” where the upcoming wedding is shared with the local community so people can become aware of the impending marriage so that they actually can object on the wedding day.
Also you could explain about the rings - Not all cultures add the wedding ring to the engagement ring (they tend to replace the engagement ring with a wedding ring or move the engagement ring to a different finger). Also my mum has an eternity ring and said this is not unusual as a gift after the 1st child or the 10th anniversary.

I am from Eritrea 🇪🇷 (a country next to Ethiopia in East Africa), I found all the criteria for wedding are quite similar and I think this is because of the religious belief we have in common as Christians or may be something else similarity in cultural manner. As Christians we are not allowed to get married with someone who is closely related with, however from my experience I used to see many muslims were married with someone who were closely related to each other. This happened majority but I love and respect the differences that we might have. I believe these all have their own impressions in life. Thanks Anna lovely tutor.

It’s amazing if you look close to this clause (everyone else takes their seats). You have the singular (s) adjacent to the verb (take) and the plural possessive pronoun (their). Woow!! English is totally unexpected.

I do not live in England anymore, but my dream wedding would be at the National Cathedral in Washington DC. It was built with inspiration from Westminster Abbey and is one of the few churches in America that support Episcopalians or Anglicans. My family is not Catholic but I had always wanted my wedding in a lovely cathedral, which is rare to find in the states. I hope my boyfriend and his family is okay with all of this, but another thing I’d love to have at my wedding is all the women wearing hats. I LOVE that tradition in the UK! It’s so classy and elegant, and who doesn’t like wearing fancy hats? My mother (since deceased) rode in a Rolls Royce to get to the church she was married in. She had a red rose bouquet, and, in tribute to her, my wish is to arrive to the church in a Rolls Royce holding a bouquet of flowers (not sure what colour they’re going to be yet) with a single red rose in the center.
I guess the one non-traditional part I wish to have as part of my wedding is that I don’t want to walk down the aisle to the Wedding March... my favourite classical song is Canon in D, and I would love a quartet to play that while I walk down.
I’m nowhere close to being married or even engaged but I dream about my wedding everyday... I already have a musical playlist and everything sorted out!!!

My husband and I eloped. We never really got engaged, just up and did it. Went to the Justice of the Peace and eloped. My best friend was our only witness. We've been happily married for almost 15 years (married Sept 2003) and we have three kids (11, 8, and 5). Never had a wedding. :-)
My dad was upset that he couldn't "walk me down the aisle", but I didn't like that tradition... it just made me feel like my dad "owned" me and was selling me off, lol. No one owns me! :-P
    I'm in the US though.

In India, marriage takes 5 days to happen
    1st day-ceremony part 1
    2nd day-ceremony part 2
3rd day-Biday or bride leaving her house
    4th day-The Sleeping Night
5th day-Some other celebrations in the groom's house
Now, the are finally married 😌

In America, we don't sign a wedding register, the marriage certificate is signed. Typically, the marriage certificate is gotten from the courthouse a few days before the wedding. The Stag and hen dos are called the bachelor and bachelorette parties and can be given by the maid / matron of honor and best man. The parties can be held in the couple's hometown or in destinations like Las Vegas or Cancun and Puerto Vallerta Mexico🇲🇽
    Some couples have co-ed parties.
Couples either choose to have a traditional cake or cupcakes or even some couples choose to forgo the cake cutting all together and do a pie cutting🔪. Right before the reception , that's called the cocktail🍸 hour where drinks and Hor d'oeuvres are served while the main reception space is prepared.
Couples can either marry civilly which usually means going down to the courthouse and having a magistrate or judge perform the ceremony, if they live in a small town, the mayor will officiate.
Some couples will op for a destination wedding or other type of non religious setting wedding , for example getting married @ Disneyland or Disneyworld.
