Tips for remembering ಸಮಾಸ
ತತ್ಪುರುಷ ಸಮಾಸ
When divided the first word will be having ತೃತೀಯಾವಿಭಕ್ತಿ - ಸಪ್ತಮೀವಿಭಕ್ತಿ
ಕರ್ಮಧಾರೆಯ ಸಮಾಸ
1st word will be an adjective(ಗುಣವಾಚಕ or ವಿಷೇಶಣ)
ದ್ವಿಗು ಸಮಾಸ
The 1st word will be a Number (ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ)
ಅಂಶಿ ಸಮಾಸ
2nd word will be depicting a part of a body/house/nature/anything
ದ್ವಂದ್ವ ಸಮಾಸ
Two or more words-all of them will be nouns and all have its own importance
ಕ್ರಿಯಾ ಸಮಾಸ
1st word will always have ಅನ್ನು & 2nd word will be a verb
ಬಹುರ್ವೀಹಿ ಸಮಾಸ
One sentence will be formed in ವಿಗ್ರಹವಾಕ್ಯ
ಗಮಕ ಸಮಾಸ
1st word will always be pronoun (& ಕೃದಂತ)
