I mention in the video a portion of the exp goes to the commander. Ship experience earned in game and commander experience in game are equal, while 100% is a portion, I could have said it better. Sorry.
"getting your commander up to level 11 is the end game" -- that's why I review ships with a level 10 cap on commanders, and do separate videos with level 11 skills & premium consumables
I've seen that and definitely think it's a great idea. I try to review new ships with commanders at different tiers to show what the realistic build would be
For the full reset, if silver is not a problem, retrain with silver for 50 or 75% (can't remember which it is you can get for silver), then go the rest of the way with fxp, that's a lot cheaper :)
A simple trick I use to level up faster is to use my high level boosters (gold or 2k%) only when I have first victory bonus and ad bonus available (I'm not as rich in game 😜). The ad bonus essentially doubles the amount of XP you get, so you wanna use it when you get the maximum XP.
Commanders in Blitz are pretty much like logistics in war, they dictate what lines you can realistically grind if you want a somewhat decent experience. For example, I have my new account for 9 months now and I have exactly 3 commanders: - a Pan-european which I used for the Halland grind (didn't like the ship at all, sold it immediately after doing the battle honors), then retrained him for the Viribus Unitis where he works perfectly and which i will likely play for hundreds of games (as a proud Austrian should do) - a British one which I used for the Minotaur and Daring grinds and which currently sits at the Albemarle. As soon as I'm done with the Goliath I'll retrain him for the Minotaur again and use him on both Minotaur and the recently aquired Tiger, since those ships require basically the same skills. Minotaur is probably my all-time favourite T10. - a German one which I used for the Z52 grind (much recommended) and which is currently used on the FdG. Unless I can get my greedy hands on a German premium BB, I will likely use him in the future for the Schlieffen and Elbing grinds, since I'd really like to do those. So yeah, tons of work to do for just 3 commanders, really don't know if I will start another one anytime soon 😂

I hate to admit this, but when Commanders were first added to the game, I basically was like "nah, I don't wanna mess with all that", and went the better part of a year not using them before finally understanding their importance. Yeah... Pretty dumb LOL!!! Even now I've only built three Elite CDRs, and would love to have more Legendarys, but I'm never lucky enough to get them and only have a couple of those. Now that I'm finally where I have mostly climbed most of the tech trees that I'm interested in (for now), it's become all about the CDRs, and it's exhausting!! It makes tech tree climbing seem quick and easy!!! As a footnote, I LOVE Blitz Royale!!! But I can never play it or the other modes because they land during the workday. There needs to be more or longer play periods for the other modes!!! I'm sure this isn't just me...so hopefully WG fixes that!!! Footnote #2: I like the idea of more options for CDR boosts- I'm going to suggest "camo boosts" , or "equipment boosts" as additional options. Those could really help make some ships that are sub-meta become lots more relevant!! For instance, imagine a DesMoines that gets an additional 2% on it's equipment, or what if it boosts modules?? A Legendary Module that gets an additional 2 or 3 percent suddenly won't be "just another tech tree ship" anymore!!!
I think making it free to move the commander up to the next tier ship would help, if you go backwards or switch lines still pay. But at least so you can level your commander with the ship line. I usually just do the 500 gold. But I know there’s a lot of people that can’t. But if anyone is going to just level up a commander once they get it. I recommend the Italian ones for the SAP skill. I put Luigi at 11 once I got him and it was a fun line.
Slai, I know you have went through this on another video but do I use horizontal protection on mino? The others don’t seem good. Kind of sad they don’t have 4 options for the last level or something cool like that…
@@Slai47 At present a reset would apply to all the achieved skill levels even if we only want to reset one or two. Would be nice if the cost of resetting the skills was based on the number you actually reset instead of the total skills unlocked. Would cost less gold/FXP
When the first victory was 300% I was noticing I was getting loads more even without commander boasters on and I was doing like 13k with Malta on Andrew with ultimate commander XP boaster an universal boaster and then with the ships I wasn’t training on after the 300% went away I started getting less than before
I hate the PC commander rework but mainly because it basically ruined secondary builds on most BBs and all Cruisers. So as long as they don’t do something like that then it def should be done here. Most ships have best commander builds and that’s not ideal.
So actually ship and cmd exp are linked. I was saying it wrong as it's a portion. But I know many people who still think exp boosters don't help so I'm keeping the video up to make sure to help others.
It's still laughable that they try to make every line on its own way with their perks and skills, yet ALL the regular commanders have the same skills in every level to grind.
Free XP for the Commanders jus like you earn in every game wit the ships, but that you can use on any commander in game. 💯💯 💯 Yea ok that'll happen LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I always use the add bonuses. Don't know why anyone wouldn't. They help very much with XP, they're there every day, and they're FREE LOL 🤣

I'm working on 8 commanders right now and it's taking a while but I'm slowly working on it. I know your pain.

I got to apcs on my Sovestky Soyuz commander and my Alsace commander reached master reloader took a while to get there though
