Tonight’s video I came up with while shopping for a hot glue gun in Michaels.. I saw the border decorations you’d usually see in a classroom, reminded me of school, then reminded me of teachers.. etc haha. It’s toward the end of July so I realized my son will be going back to school this year, as will many of you! So here is a “Meet The Teacher RP”.. where you’re meeting your new teacher for your new grade. I didn’t specify which grade, or subject, I just generalized everything so it could maybe relate to your situation!! I hope you enjoy this today. You will be tested with basic math on the chalkboard, and name writing on the whiteboard. So no stress! We will do this together. Please.. sit back, relax, and let me tell you about the new year! High school is not that bad honestly I’m a junior but make sure you make good grades in 9th grade bc when you’re a senior and trying to make your gpa go up it is super hard make sure your gpa is high by senior year

I'm gonna be a Junior in High School. For all of you who are starting High School, trust me, it's not like the movies or TV shows. It's literally just like your previous years just with harder classes. And by harder, I mean just different. Just take it slow if you have bad anxiety. That's how I dealt with it. If any of you wanna message me, you can. Hope I helped!

Starting 8th grade this year. 7th grade was a terrible year for me. I told someone that I thought I could trust that I was questioning my sexuality, and they outed me to other people. Other people told other people and so on. Hopefully this year will be better
Sydney Reed The sane thing happened to me 7th grade year. 8th grade was much better as far as people talking about my sexuality. The only advice I can give for 8th grade is don’t grown up too fast, you’re only in 8th grade, and don’t trust anyone with anything you wouldn’t want everyone knowing because THEY’RE GOING TO TELL OTHER PEOPLE. 8th grade is a lot of fun overall though, I wish you the best! 💜💜💜
So sorry people did this to you. They aren't your true friends if they talked behind your back like this. I'm starting my junior year this year, and I'm afraid to tell my best friends that I have known for 8 and 4 years that I am lesbian. I think they might do this same thing (even though they are really amazing or they wouldn't have been my friends for so long). But people suck. It's best to make great friends now, because I can tell you when you get to high school it's harder to make friends. So make the best friends you can now, and try to become extremely comfortable with them before you tell them. I guess I am protective of my sexuality, because my dad is really homophobic, so I don't really want him to know. But really I would only tell people you are comfortable with. And if you feel like you need to tell someone, make a journal.

im so sorry that happened to you. i was also questioning in 7th grade (im an incoming senior) and i know i was too scared to tell anyone lol. you were very brave to tell someone you trusted and it's so unfortunate that that trust was violated. i really hope next year will be better for you and i hope you befriend people who will love and respect you.

Ima freshman this year and im not overly nervous just learning the school might be confussing. I think that school especially back to school shouldnt be a huge deal honestly. No one remembers anything from the beginning of the year. Just take it slow and relax deep breaths, its just another day with a extra step in your routine. You get to see friends and get away from home for a bit, and listen to music 😏 its a new world for everybody even seniors of high school they dont know what to expect. I’m going into 8th grade this Monday and I’m excited and anxious. This is really going to help me relax. 😴
I don't know how you are able to think straight while going through withdrawals. Even if it is just mild, it is still rough.
I am a recovering heroin addict, I have been on methadone and when you yawned and your eyes watered my heart hurt for you.
I had to kick 100mgs of methadone cold turkey in jail once before and it was miserable. I heard even getting off od 1mg or even a half mg is still really rough.
But ! You are doing so amazing and staying so strong. I am so proud of you! Soon you will be all the way down off your last mg and go be honest, it will probably be about 30-45 days until you feel fully better. But after that you will never have to deal with it again.
Try taking magnesium capsules or powdered drink mix. It helps SO MUCH with aches and restless legs. And obviously benedryl for the "allergy like" symptoms.
Drink lots and lots of water, and fish oil!

We never got a full summer break like the public schools, but it was nice to take off an extra time in the fall and spring to go on vacation, etc.
It had its perks. Doing school work in my pajamas, on my bed was definitely the best 😊👌🏻

I start school August 20th (a month from now) and I get extremely bad anxiety when school time rolls around making the whole "back to school" thing really hard for me but watching these type of videos really help as it calms me down and makes me think positive like "it's not that bad. You'll do fine. You'll get good grades this year. This year will be better". I'm not sure why I struggle so much going back to school, I might just get anxiety from thinking about having new teachers, if teachers will like me, if classes will be hard for me, if my new classmates will be nice towards me and just stuff like that that puts me a bit on edge (new changes or changes in general tend to trigger my anxiety a lot). But thank you so much for making this video. I've been panicking since the beginning of July about school but I found this video to be very helpful and make me feel better about going back to school. I'll definitely be coming back to this video before school starts! Thank you so much for this video you have no idea how helpful this vide is to me ❤️
