Why did Ubisoft just announce Beyond Good and Evil’s 20th anniversary collection when we’re still waiting for the sequel they announced like 10 years ago?
2 reasons: 1. Nostalgia based greed, we all know it. 2. They’re probably testing the waters to see if a sequel would even sell before they actually make it(assuming it’s not already in production)
Foamstars also charges people for a game with AI generated images. If Squeenix can't be bothered to pay artists, I can't be bothered to pay for their game.
there is a fucking DMC MOBILE GAME? Who the hell greenlit that? And who the hell thought it would be a good idea to invest time in it? A DMC game on mobile should send anyone running for the hills immediatly.
If you followed the development process, the game was turning out really good with an amazing combat system. What fucked it up was that The Devs Nebula Joy (Capcom had no input on this game except the licensing) threw out everything in the game that was good, simplified the combat (one button combat which is worse than Auto in Main games) removed style switching and weapon switching in exchange for character switching (so that they can sell multiple versions of a character with a specific weapon), and included the worst sort of predatory micro transactions in a game ever. The game went from a legitimate DMC game which had a combat depth on the levels of mainline, to a knock off Punishing Gray Raven with terrible gacha and progression. It's heartbreaking honestly.
DMC hurts the most, because its beta version, Pinnacle of Combat, was a faithful adaptation of DMC formula to the hand-held device, specific inputs to pull off stylish moves. Now it is just a Honkai clone
The people that were hyped for skull and bones were the problem. They needed to just admit that being a pirate is not a vibe, and the game never would have existed.
Ubisoft was also at fault since they did black flag. They had the foundation and everything. They just had to perfect it and build upon that. Alas they didn't, and if it pulled off, sea of theives would of have some competition
Peak of combat isn't bad at all. The frame rate is only bad if you have a bad phone. Cut scenes I could agree with, but combat is decent for a phone game.
So far all the games I’ve played this year have been pretty damn good. I can easily recommend them all: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade, Pepper Grinder, Tekken 8, FF7 Rebirth and Balatro. Hope my list helps at least one of you find something you’ll like.

i want to nominate Expeditions: a mud runner game for this honor. for fans of spin tires, mudrunner, or snow runner, this game was a huge let down. more focus on planning your trip to a destination, then the actual driving. fewer trucks, harder to repair them and keep gas in them, with supplies in the worst places. i played for 2 days before i got mad at how little progress i was making.
They write a lot of bad faith lists now and these "worst" lists always have a couple of head scratchers. Seems like the channel is just pumping out content for contents sake now. Not at all like it used to be

I feel like dragon dogma should be second atleast u spend a couple of hours in the endgame during suicide squad before the repetitiveness takes over dragons dogma 2 is the complete definition of repetitiveness and wasted potential atleast we knew ss was gone be ass but dragons dogma is a complete waste of money in a world with endless possibilities they gathered the most basic enemies from a mysticle realm i had no problem with the travel system i actually like it it forces u to explore something i dont do in open world games so i miss out on good items that wasn't the problem the problem is i watch a lot of anime its no interesting enemys in that game and not enough to begin with the skill tree is basic and sometime dont add up with real protects of a realm which is the world they live in. Sorry for the long comment 😅 i just had high hopes for that game i just feel like they started rushing towards the end.

Games are not made by companies, they are made by talented developers. The Bioware, Ubisoft, Rocksteady, Square Enix, Blizzard, and I could go on and on, are dead. Sorry to break it to you, but when companies lay off their best for cheap starter devs, this is what you get.

the jujutsu kaisen should be a multiplayer game and not a solo or campaign, like the naruto games, where theres story mode or campaign mode and the vs mode where you fight with other players, tho lacking in character at least they can expand this by making new campaign or something to make at least a good breather from fighting against other player, tho the jujutsu kaisen would really shine if they somehow follow the naruto or that shonen jump brawl
if am not wrong only the Western version of Peak of Combat is bad because they scrubbed out alot of function and mechanics and added in more microtransaction and gacha system
Honest question; have you played any of the three original Silent Hill games? I only ask because the common census online is Silent Message was heavy handed and shallow. It seemed like it was written for a younger audience. I didn’t play it because it received such horrible reviews, most of which compared it unfavorably against the original trilogy.
@drgonzo123 as a huge fan of the original 4 games. Short Message was embarrassingly bad. It felt like it was written by 'edgy' 14 year old girls, who are fans of "13 Reasons Why" and had once watched a video essay about Silent Hill. It was my partners first ever SH game and I was so excited to play it with him, and I kept apologizing and cringing so much we skipped all the cutscenes from about the half way point.
It unfortunately had things going against it. Small budget, small team, not being a DBZ or Naruto game. Trying to do something different (team based vs a standard arena fighter.) With a bigger budget and more polish the game would be great! I still play it tho, I’ve learned to have fun with it.
