He’s constantly hyping up his members - this is the man who BAWLED when Minho and Felix were eliminated, who simply took responsibility and wanted forgiveness when they returned, who is just constantly in the corner squealing and hugging himself while shooting fond heart eyes at his members and encouraging them 24/7. Even before they’ve debuted Chan has made sure to establish an incredible bond with his members and convince them beyond a doubt that they, specifically, have been chosen BY HIM. Stray Kids are gonna be huge, mark my words - they’re already amazingly successful as it is, even before they’ve debuted. But I’d argue that they’ve already made it because of Bang Chan being the cohesiveness, chemistry, and bond of their group, something many groups don’t develop for years and that will give them the power to really just barrel through the industry like a damn friendship freight train. !!

I've never been more confident in my choice of stanning this group the minute I discovered them. Chan is such a selfless leader and puts other's needs before his which is truly hard to find these days. You can tell how much the members and STAYs mean to him because of how fondly he talks about them. The courage he must've had to have been training for 7 years. Surely most people would lose hope, but he continued fighting for his dream as an artist, but most importantly his want to spread positive messages to the whole world through his lyrics. I've never 'met' anybody as inspiring as Chan during my 17 years on this earth, and I wish I could truly thank him in person for all him and Stray Kids have done for me. I will love them forever and ever. ♡

Anny's World Yeah, it's understandable to feel down given their long training periods. You're right, it's just the way society works but it's also human nature to dwell on the negatives rather than the positives. I can have 50 things going right and it wouldn't matter much because 1 thing is clearly going wrong and that's all I could focus on. I suffer from depression, anxiety, and OCD. I also have other health issues so it's tough to be optimistic. At least I have a reason to keep going and I'm happy that it's the same for Chan. The entertainment industry is really harsh. Not only that, the leader role is extremely difficult. I pray that he'll continue to be strong and keep trying to achieve his goals by doing things that he's passionate about (making music, inspiring others, etc.). 🙏🏼

I started stanning Stray Kids because of him. I saw his smile, and I instantly fell in love. He is the most genuine, selfless, kind, nobel man out there. He puts his members before him and sacrifices his sleep and dangers his health, just so his members are okay and that stays are happy. He has worked so hard. To train for such a long time, to watch all his friends debut but not him, must have been so hard yet that never put him down, only encouraging him to do more. Chris is not like other idols. Other idols debut in the first months, don't work as hard or are sometimes lazy and don't put their all into a performance. I was waiting for a video ever since they won the Rookie award (am so proud 😭😭 ). For some reason watching him cry and say those words makes me feel really satisfied cuz I know that he is now comfortable enough to say these things to his members and to us stays, knowing that they and we love and care about him. He is already on one of the most impactful leaders I have ever seen in a rookie group and pretty soon the whole Kpop world will know it too.

I'm so thankful that I've gotten into stray kids this year and it was probably one of the best things that happened to me in 2018. I love them so much because they made me believe in living again. They made me realize how beautiful the world is despite all the difficulties and struggles. They really inspired me a lot through their music. I just love my boys so much especially Bang Chan. *Stray Kids* A few months ago I was diagnosed with clinical depression, and it lasted for a while. I would constantly feel numb and lifeless, and feel like I have no place in this world. It started when a close relative died, and so everyday I would just start hyperventilating and crying for a reason I did not understand. Before all of this however, I had already discovered Stray Kids, but not stan them. Then, the news of Woojin leaving came, and I rediscovered Stray Kids. I started watching their old videos, and it was only the moments that I was with them that I started feeling alive again. I started listening to their music, looking up the translation, and I felt loved again. Songs like Hero’s Soup, My Pace, Get Cool were constantly being played. I felt part of something again, and that was the Stay family. Stray Kids were the ones who pulled me out of a spiralling darkness when not even my family, doctors and counselors, and my best friends couldnt. They’re the reason I am still unharmed by the very enemy and bane of my existence, myself. They’re the reason I am still sitting here writing this, and not in a coffin causing sorrow upon everyone who loves me. They’re the family I stayed with when my own couldnt evoke the same feeling. They’re the friends I stayed with when most of my friends turned their backs on me. I don’t even know if anyone will see this, but I wanna share my story, because they have shared theirs. Seeing them cry, get angry, and now to being this successful, and I was a part of that...I am loved. #Stayforever
i stan many groups and bias many idols but no one will ever compare to chan. he’s the most generous and warm hearted person i have ever seen, and despite everything he’s been through he still pulls forward and shows so much love. he is my biggest inspiration and i hope i get to meet him again for longer, so that i can tell him how much he means to me and the rest of stay.

He explicitly raps about how his team is what keeps him going and it's really scary to think how it'll be if stray kids is not in the picture.

I've never been more confident in my choice of stanning this group the minute I discovered them. Chan is such a selfless leader and puts other's needs before his which is truly hard to find these days. You can tell how much the members and STAYs mean to him because of how fondly he talks about them. The courage he must've had to have been training for 7 years. Surely most people would lose hope, but he continued fighting for his dream as an artist, but most importantly his want to spread positive messages to the whole world through his lyrics. I've never 'met' anybody as inspiring as Chan during my 17 years on this earth, and I wish I could truly thank him in person for all him and Stray Kids have done for me. I will love them forever and ever. ♡

Anny's World Yeah, it's understandable to feel down given their long training periods. You're right, it's just the way society works but it's also human nature to dwell on the negatives rather than the positives. I can have 50 things going right and it wouldn't matter much because 1 thing is clearly going wrong and that's all I could focus on. I suffer from depression, anxiety, and OCD. I also have other health issues so it's tough to be optimistic. At least I have a reason to keep going and I'm happy that it's the same for Chan. The entertainment industry is really harsh. Not only that, the leader role is extremely difficult. I pray that he'll continue to be strong and keep trying to achieve his goals by doing things that he's passionate about (making music, inspiring others, etc.). 🙏🏼

I started stanning Stray Kids because of him. I saw his smile, and I instantly fell in love. He is the most genuine, selfless, kind, nobel man out there. He puts his members before him and sacrifices his sleep and dangers his health, just so his members are okay and that stays are happy. He has worked so hard. To train for such a long time, to watch all his friends debut but not him, must have been so hard yet that never put him down, only encouraging him to do more. Chris is not like other idols. Other idols debut in the first months, don't work as hard or are sometimes lazy and don't put their all into a performance. Chris puts his all into every performance, into every concert, because even tho it tires him, he knows it'll be worth it because of stays reaction. Bang Chan. Chan. I love you with all my heart. I'm so thankful that I've gotten into stray kids this year and it was probably one of the best things that happened to me in 2018. I love them so much because they made me believe in living again. They made me realize how beautiful the world is despite all the difficulties and struggles. They really inspired me a lot through their music. I just love my boys so much especially Bang Chan. I wish them all the success and the best things that life has to offer.
*Stray Kids*
A few months ago I was diagnosed with clinical depression, and it lasted for a while. I would constantly feel numb and lifeless, and feel like I have no place in this world. It started when a close relative died, and so everyday I would just start hyperventilating and crying for a reason I did not understand. Before all of this however, I had already discovered Stray Kids, but not stan them. Then, the news of Woojin leaving came, and I rediscovered Stray Kids. I started watching their old videos, and it was only the moments that I was with them that I started feeling alive again. I started listening to their music, looking up the translation, and I felt loved again. Songs like Hero’s Soup, My Pace, Get Cool were constantly being played. I felt part of something again, and that was the Stay family. Stray Kids were the ones who pulled me out of a spiralling darkness when not even my family, doctors and counselors, and my best friends couldnt. They’re the reason I am still unharmed by the very enemy and bane of my existence, myself. They’re the reason I am still sitting here writing this, and not in a coffin causing sorrow upon everyone who loves me. They’re the family I stayed with when my own couldnt evoke the same feeling. They’re the friends I stayed with when most of my friends turned their backs on me. I don’t even know if anyone will see this, but I wanna share my story, because they have shared theirs. Seeing them cry, get angry, and now to being this successful, and I was a part of that...I am loved. #Stayforever
i stan many groups and bias many idols but no one will ever compare to chan. he’s the most generous and warm hearted person i have ever seen, and despite everything he’s been through he still pulls forward and shows so much love. he is my biggest inspiration and i hope i get to meet him again for longer, so that i can tell him how much he means to me and the rest of stay.

I was so shocked that after just the first 5 seconds I just started crying. Bang Chan deserves all the respect and love in the world. Not a lot of people are as hardworking as him and just this felt like seeing the vulnerable boy that has written all the words that have touched our hearts.
