Throughout the roughly 1/3 of a century that I've been on this earth, I've witnessed this before IRL...
A person who cheats days before their wedding is only getting married simply because....
1. They want their car paid off.
2. They want their tuition paid off.
3. They want to move away from their parents
4. They want to purchase high-end things that are out of their paycheck range.
5. They're hoping a divorce lawyer in the future could someday hand them a virtual "winning lottery ticket."
This treachery is not limited to any one gender. All genders are capable of this.

What a tangled web of emotions this is!
This was really good Dreamy! I hate to say it but I love the juicy relationship drama in fiction sometimes lol! I really like how you play the supportive friend in this story. You show a real compassion and desire to help however you can as the listener character really needs that at the time. I really like how she almost immediately starts coming up with plans for revenge as that's such a friend thing to do lol! The plan to pretend marry her was such a shock and would have thrown me for a loop as well lol! I really like how much emotional intelligence this character has where she asserts how this is nowhere near the time to explore their feelings for each other. First we must cast aside the cheater!
Obviously it's full formal wear for Xbox playing, everybody knows that lol

I just feel bad, but that is such a good idea I am loving it! Those are some good marriage reasons lol. And it was soooo sweet towards the end. All that love and support, all that emotional honesty. Not wanting to ruin a good friendship over love. My heart, overflowing with emotions. And mature to wait, smart too. Also, smart ass answers woooooooo!

Wow. I feel so bad for the listener. Yet one of the many reasons I'm anti marriage. Admirable that his friend would go to bat like that for him. Friends like that are rare. I mean it wouldn't stand up in court without signing the certificate. But it's beyond thoughtful for her to suggest it. And who knows ? Maybe down the road they can still get together.
