One of the few times I was triggered. About 2 minutes into the songs I without choice closed my eyes and I was in the Saudi Arabian desert hearing the call to prayer reverberate through my body. In the deep desert I met my Lord with every sunrise and sunset. I can feel even now and smell the deep. It will never leave me. Thank you. It may have been a conflict that brought me there bout I would not trade my experience for anything.
@@waheedaghafoor2627 Thank you. People say that oil was the sole reason we went to war with Iraq. There was another. We agreed with the Saudi govt. That there was no way we could allow a mad man like Saddam take Mecca or Medina. The holy sights needed protected. Saudi needed protected.
💗Wow Rosalie - this was something else! I was not prepared for Hadiya Hashmi at all, what an amazing discovery and beautiful surprise! - And also your reaction was so pleasurable for me to follow and I can absolutely connect with your comment, I'm a fan of both Angelina and Diana and was pleasantly surprised you mentioned them in this context... and I was about to say that for me Hadiya evoked Aurora as well, not actually by her singing (maybe even by that in regard of "chanting", but Hadiya is more powerful at age 8...) but her aura, something etheric about both of them... - and then you mentioned Aurora, crazy how similar our brains reacted to this new experience, seems we have a similar background in some ways :) - I'm deeply impressed by this young prodigy's musicality, her timing, her pitch, her passion, how she immerses herself into the song, not at all distracted by cameras and a bunch of crazily talented other musicians doing their things, singing from deep within her soul, this was just beautiful and touched my heart, I understand why this had you on the brink of tears, it's like we got a wonderful present at a moment we didn't expect it and wonder how we are even worthy of that... I definitely think many other Angels would appreciate this as well and will try to initiate more reactions, the world needs to watch this, it's a gift from above... Thank you for a wonderful reaction, I will share your video as well! 💗 - I feel like I want to give you something beautiful in return, and I think I might be able to offer another surprising discovery very well suited for a world music channel - this is Isyana (pron. "Ishiana") Sarasvati, 29, from Indonesia. I found her only recently and am so happy to have encountered this woman who is nothing short of a complete artist and true musical genius. Isyana started as a classical concert pianist and won composition contests at an early age. Later she trained in opera singing (Jakarta and Royal School of Music, London). Not only does she master several instruments and is blessed with a wonderful voice, but also her songwriting and arrangements are mind blowing. She transcends genres and vocal styles and did it all from opera, pop, ballads, progressive rock to symphonic metal, sometimes within one song, and she does it effortlessly and gracefully... This woman is more than amazing, she's another gift to humanity for sure! 💗 For your first encounter with her I'd suggest to start with her "Lexicoustic" episodes (there are seven of them as this is a semi acoustic arrangement of the seven songs on her latest album "Lexicon" which was released two years ago, this new arrangement was recorded live one year ago and it is of heavenly beauty, gorgeous setting and recording, breathtaking musicianship of everyone involved...) Ep. 1 is the title song of the album... - Quite sure you'll enjoy this and can't wait to watch your reaction... Peace and love from Bavaria! 💗 LEXICOUSTIC Ep. 1 - LEXICON | Isyana Sarasvati & The Tuttis ua-cam.com/video/C-uLAbe0WXs/v-deo.html 💗

But the way you have given your expressions on this song and pausing the song in the middle to give your emotional commentary on it is amazing and leaves the listener completely mesmerized. Finally, the way you have translated the lyrics of this song is also very amazing and people who cannot understand the lyrics of this song can easily understand the spirit of this song. I love the Jewish mystical interpretation of ‘Hu’, the primordial breath. ‘Hu’ connects you with the ground of existence itself. It is like finding the string that holds all the beads together. It is like clouds realising that they are the sky. It is like separate waves their oneness in the ocean of being. It is like the whole of existence breathing as one.
I am very happy that you decided to react to this epic performance. As usual, you are amazing when you let your soul express what it feels. The lyric is from the Sufi poets and the Sufi poets are known for being very spiritual and profound. Jalal Eddine Rumi for example is the Icon of the Sufi world. Now I think you have to try to "Afreen", which is another epic that had more than 380 million views. Thank you.

ROSALIE...nice to see your reaction. You perefectly got the true meaning of the word HU...it mean God. ALLAH...and it is a very powerful Word..Spiritual Excersise.. you try with HU...Breathing with Allah's name...in heart and breath..THAT'S WHY IT IS SO POWERFUL and EMOTIONAL...and you cried at the last of the song..you know why....The words were completed...ALLAH HU...and spirit becomes happy and sad both...but ultimately it ends up with PEACE OF HEART...ALLAH HU...say...HU....ALLAH HU.....
Hey Rosalie, just stumbled across your channel and I’m amazed at your reaction. Such an insightful take on a song where you didn’t even have the lyrics to know what it was all about? Whoa!! And the understanding of Urdu language to an extent is great as well. So Hindi and Urdu are similar languages but Urdu is Pakistan’s official language along with English (aside from many regional languages such as Punjabi, Balochi, Pushto, etc.). Hindi is spoken in India. However, the base of raag and classical music and Sufi music is pretty similar in both counties. I just find more emphasis on Sufi-oriented music in Pakistan whereas Bollywood takes precedence in India and commercializes a lot of its music where things may get lost in remixes and lack of innovation. Anyhow, I was surprised that you didn’t have the captions on? The whole song has English captions in it. Fun fact: the producer of this song was the guy towards the end with the beard who was booping his head and hands in air while Hadiya was singing. His name is Xulfi. He produced the entire series of Nescafé Basement few years ago. He’s a musical genius having been a part of various rock and alternate rock groups in the past himself. He’s an innovator and a maestro at fusing eastern and western instruments. He believes in modernizing eastern music with time but not losing the essence of its Sufi / mystical base. He believes in spirituality and connecting with the higher power through his music. So Xulfi was asked to lead the globally famous now 14th season of Coke Studio. Nescafé basement had finished but he basically discovered a lot of emerging artists in it like Hadiya and brought them along with him as a team and as participants in Coke Studio 14th season too. Coke Studio is a series that was created in 2008 and has had some phenomenal music producers who reinvented and innovated existing but older gems / songs from Pakistan. So from 2008-2021, there has been 13 seasons led by various producers. Season 14 this year was Xulfi’s creation where he actually switched things up and created 13 brand new songs with different sounds and it became a massive hit. It aired from Jan-March this year. All songs have English captions. He also used the studio space to transform it into different sets for each song. This did not happen before. You must check out all of its songs. My favourites have been Ye Dunya, Phir Milenge, Go, Mehram (with Arooj who won Grammy this year as the very first Pakistani artist winning this prestigious award) and Go. Also, for a spiritual journey, you have to check out Tu Jhoom. I have a whole list of Pakistani songs besides Coke Studio season 14 that I can share with you with links. Pls let me know and I would be happy to do that if you are interested in checking out Pakistani music. It was a sheer delight to be here. Thank you for the mad love on this song 😊

I've watched numerous passionate reactions to this gem of a song but your reaction was next level. Lara Fabian’s Je suis Malade is very emotional without translation; with an understanding of why she is showing this emotion, the performance becomes even more powerful. Same with Diana Navarro’s studio black and white cover of Pardone. Diana Akudinova’s Ornery Horses cover in black and white is very moving but with subtitles is haunting and unforgettable.
I can watch Dimache or Lara without translation from a performance standpoint but the lyrics have meaning to the artists and I owe it to them to hear and understand.
The opposite is also true for me with regard to listening only to English lyrics without a greater context. For example, many viewers recommend the live version of Disturbed’s The Sound of Silence; I find this performance to be incomplete compared to the studio version with the integrated video . The studio version is gut wrenching ; the live version has excellent vocals and facial expression but to me is not gut wrenching.😅

Fun fact: the producer of this song was the guy towards the end with the beard who was booping his head and hands in air while
Hadiya was singing.

You can see the passion of singing in Hadya, that’s so precious. Some people are naturally talented
Nice reaction..❤️❤️❤️🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
@Rosalie this by far is the best n natural reaction I've seen in a veryyyyy long time... If not the best ever.,... As its my language n from my home town i can say that tho lyrics translation is great but it doesnt do justice with original essence n soul of the words....it sure deserved a great reaction like urs... God bless
I’m very honored!! Thank you very much. It was easily one of my favorite songs to listen and react too and may now always be one of the great songs I love to hear
Rosalie you are amazing because you are energetic and do have so much positive vibes! Hats off!
I've watched numerous passionate reactions to this gem of a song but your reaction was next level. If there were more people like you in this world, there's no doubt in my mind that world peace would be attainable. You were so moved by this masterpiece in part because of the profound lyrics. Two other gems on another Pakistani UA-cam Channel, Coke Studio, KHAKI BANDA and TU JHOOM, will no doubt fill your soul with joy with similar intensity. Please do react to them if not already (my first time here). Thanks in advance!
wow thank you very very much for your kind comment!! It means a lot. I am excited to check out more soon and will make a note of your suggestion. thank you :)
Happy to see your reaction how you absorb the message in this song.
This song is special, very powerful.
Great reaction. Your understanding of music and lyrics is amazing.
Wow! no matter how many times you listen to this it is going to take you on a journey like no other... and thanks for sharing that in Hebrew its like a breath and comparing it to the word HU, and you are right HU is not a word its a very complex thing to explain, HU is not basically a term its an action its like a call... thanks for sharing that information it will open a lot of doors for me to think on... stay happy and stay blessed...
