00:07 cow eaten by Rolex 😊
I hope, they had a nice barbecue ... 😂😂😂
😂😂
now restore the cow😆
I heard that too...😅
Did you manage to get the Cow out of the Rolex again?
@@SideWalkAstronomyNetherlands No chance ... the cow was already digested by the Rolex 🤣🤣🤣
He brought the Rolex back to life and it promptly exacted revenge on the cow.
@@davidrkuehn 😂😂😂
Too funny!
Hahaha
I enjoyed every update! Thank you for restoring this watch! I saw the article online about this watch and was disappointed to hear that they were NOT intending to have it restored. GLAD THAT YOU OFFERED YOUR SERVICES and made it happen!!
It’s amazing that a 70 years old watch, laying in the ground for half a century can still be serviced and run as new. Of course you need skilled watchmakers and access to parts. This world needs more skilled watchmakers so that our mechanical watches can keep on ticking.
Great story, great work, great watch! Cheers!
Kalle the Cowlex whisperer amazing results from the Chronoglide team and the cow
You did such an amazing work on the cow rolex. This should definitely be thought as proper watch restoration thesis in watchmaking schools!!!
Hands down Kalle!
Awesome! Congrats Kalle. I'm happy to see you made it in a news article in NOS too! Gefeliciteerd
Very nice! Puts watchmaking on the map again. Even my mother in law heard it and asked me about the story. Well done! Very noble cause❤️❤️
Excellent handicraft !! So happy the owner got so happy seeing his restored watch back💜
Brilliant in skill and commitment. Kalle you are exemplary not just as a watchmaker but as a human being! I salute you.
Congratulations. Great project! You got as close to the edge without crashing. Well done. Edwin and Bertha have a “thing” for each other.
Absolutely fantastic (considering the initial condition)!
What an achievement Kalle by you and your team. Fantastic end result, really enjoyed watching this restoration.
Wow what a Saga. Outstanding job made Kalle on the restoration , my hat goes off for you. It is amazing that it is back to working state. Thank you for taking us with you on this saga. Not making fun of , but chuckled and loved the intro comment of “The cow eaten by a Rolex…”
I would do the same for such a stunning watch. Amaizing work Kalle and Team!
The quantity of man hours put on this watch must be amazing, the fact that it works is even more so! Dedication to this project is worthy of being in textbooks for years to come.
Bravo to you & team efforts! 🎉👌❤️👍🎊🐄
A wonderful masterclass of restoration by a master craftsman who also has a great sense of humour - a fabulous combination!
Awesome journey this old watch has had, back from the dead indeed ! Great work Kalle and team.
Very special. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Unbelievable work from you all! I truly enjoyed this journey and especially the end result! I am in awe!
Wat een enorme prestatie, met een niet te overtreffen resultaat! Jullie hebben de lat erg hoog gelegd maar het eindresultaat mag er zijn… verdient een plaats in guiness book als “longest restauration ever with least renewed parts ever”
Perfection, a stunning outcome. Well done all those involved.
I am amazed by the transformation! Great to follow this restoration.
I've the sense that perhaps your Chronoglide Teams' effort has achieved the Worlds Coolest Rolex and then I imagine if it sells at auction for a million or more that the seller should give half to Team Chronoglide ! I think it's pretty special now ; )
Guys what a transformation 😁👍👍 can’t wait to see you restore the cow eaten by a Rolex next 🤣🤣 sorry Kalle couldn’t resist. Again excellent work to the team. 👍
Genius-Inspirational-Thank you for sharing this
Excellent project results and work by you and your team!
Great result! Very enjoyable & fascinating story, well done👍🏻
Well done! Udder-ly fantastic job. I cannot believe how much of the original watch your team was able to save, but seeing is believing.
That was quite a journey and I enjoyed every single part of it. I am looking forward to you and your team meeting the Steele family!
once again you have proved to be an excellent watchmaker, congratulations!! But for those who are trying to learn something from the masters to improve our watchmaking skills, the only think we learn is that you are an excellent watchmaker
Your enthusiasm is infectious and explains the Rolex eating Cow introduction :-) that is one amazing restoration. It would have been considered a write-off by 99.99% of the watch community. Thanks for showing what expertise and dedication can do to preserve not only a watch, but the history of the watch. Cheers from Vancouver Canada.
I'm going to miss these updates.
Can you get another cow to eat a watch? Maybe a Vacheron this time.
Look at that beautiful digestive patina on the dial. ❤️
Fantastic results I would say. Congrats with such a fine team 🎉

I do hope we're going to see the Steel Family receve this it would make a loverly end chapter to this crazy adventure you let us all be part of :D
Superb work Kalle..really highlights what you're capable of.
I do wonder how much this would have cost if it wasn't accepted as a challenge, which you amply achieved. Bravo 👏
Congratulations 👏 Incredible job
Very well done
Insane stuff Kalle.
Erg genoten van de serie videos.
Groets, Arjen.

prachtig Kalle en Edwin haha, echt heel mooi geworden.. Ben ook echt weg van de dail !!
Kalle Certainly monumental project well done If it were mine I would market it to Rolex for $$$$$$. OH when is the Cronoglide WATCH coming to market??? the world wonders is it Just a FANTASY !
Amazing job I really thought it wouldn't work and you'd have to change the movement really well done sir 👍
Bedankt
Diep diep diep respect wat een fantastisch werk 💪💪👍👍❤ but you are beaten the cow
Beautiul!!
All of you did a remarkable job. Buy yourself your favorite pint in some British pub.
Gr8 work
Just a thought. Seal the rusted, unusable Cow Rolex parts in a clear epoxy block ... It'd make a lovely desktop paper-weight for the family. (or your own museum) !
Cant wait for the Patek from a pig video 😊
A moo-ving story indeed!
Can you make a summing of the costs. Parts materials man hours etc. Also can you make a compulation from beginning to end of the restoration.
Great work
Fantastic job, it would be nice to see it with the back and bracelet on and how it looks on the wrist.
Rolex; Takes a licking and will continue ticking! Great job !!
Wat een vakmanschap
Proficiat met het resultaat!!!
great job , i wanted to see how it performed on timegrapher , as for the dial , I'm not sure about the old one and if telling its story worth not changing. eventually this is personal preference.
I met kalle and his team in a bakers today in Bushey hertfordshire in the UK and couldn't believe what he told me about this watch
I thought that he was joking with me
Now I've seen, what an amazing story
And excellent coffee John! Was nice meeting you.
An Amazing job and thank you for sharing it with us. My question would be, what did you learn from this experience ?
Kalle - Ciw eaten by a Rolex!😅
Wow! A top result.
I’ve got the exact same model airking, but without the bracelet. I was wondering, how do you go about sourcing the bracelet?
Het mooiste verhaal sinds vijf jaar.
A cow eaten by a Rolex! Kalle, I think you need some sleep.
Kalle just a thought could you get someone with the know how to set the unusable parts in resin as a paper wieght would be a great momento
The unusable parts could be put into one of the clear paperweights.
Can you make a video of your trip to England?
I still wonder why an ultrasonic cleaner wasn't used to try to get some of the rust off, instead of scraping.
It's 3 months 'til Christmas Kalle! What went wrong? CU, Hein
You made a rat rolex
Haha kerel dat Steenkolen Engels van jou klinkt echt 3 x kut 😂
Hahahahahahaha, je hebt gelijk!
This watch will forever be known as the Cow Poop Rolex. Facts. Personally I would not want to own it. Not even as a gift.
Agree
That DIAL looks like shit… pun intended
