Have to admire the quality of construction of those trails. Very impressed
Amazing trail work.
Might be the best I've ever seen. To even scope that out and make it ridable must've been a huge undertaking.
This is un-fucking-real! My video will just be me crying my eyes out as I slowly slide my ass down the steeps.
Haha, JRA...
That last section through the rocks down the mountain side!! Incredible trail building. Wow
This trail is a work of art.
That was a rotor smoker! Loved the part at 4:37. Watching the footage, it looked like the trail just went straight into a boulder! Loved how they had that one fence up on the left, as if the rest of the 30+ foot falls on the left side would just sting a little. That trail looked NASTY! Steep on GoPro = Ridiculous in person Excellent riding as always....keep 'em coming!
If you see a retention wall, things are about to get real, hahaha.
Such cool feature and landscape! 3:35
The trail builders know what's up!
DUDE!!! that is one of the most technical steep narrow trails I have ever seen!! Great riding by all!!
Business time indeed! That trail was insane, I think I said wow about 50 times. Great riding by you guys.
That looked CRAZY steep with no room for errors. NICE riding. Only in my dreams could I ride something like that.
Far Out. Rocky,Steep & technical. You wouldn't want to fall off the edge of the trail either. One of the Rowdiest lines I've seen on Y-tube. Awesome!!
*slightly exposed.
Well that looked... challenging, rocky, steep...Wow! I would've died many times.
haha.
That is the gnarliest little trail I think I've ever seen...
Beyond incredible! Great riding and thanks for not dying so we could see the whole thing. :)
haha.
Gotta be one of the sickest gnarliest trails I've ever seen. Butt pucker for sure on some of those sections.
Really great looking trail!!! Great riding! Thanks!
That's truly gnarly, the switchbacks are so tight and rugged. Another great video.
This is the best riding and terrain i've seen in a long time.
Awesome trails and nice landscapes. You should come in France to ride in the Alps. We have a lot of sweet trails too.
Again, great skills there Nate. You know it is steep when the GoPro footage appears to be looking straight down and the switchbacks have planks built into the side of the mountain to keep the rock slides to a minimum!! Reminds me of a classic Cypress Hill song...."Insane in the membrane"...keep em coming.
Planks are holding that trail from falling off of the hill. Crazy trail construction skills!
Best Nate Hills video ever! Awesome riding on an insane trail!
Thank you Greg.
Great riding on those super steep parts. That's some crazy downhill.
WOWWWW, that was pretty intense is some of those steep sections. Incredible riding as usual!
Chunky for sure! We've got some crazy switchbacks on my local stuff here in FoCo, but nothin' like that. Good vid, Thanks.
Wow. Even with the gopro that looked steep.. Gnarly stuff- nice.
Holy shit! This is probably the best trail I've ever watched being ridden by you guys. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for watching.
Holy crap. I've ridden a bit of steep but only short, relatively straight sections. This is the steepest I've ever seen and it had a bunch of switchbacks! Incredibly well ridden!
Thanks, good times out there.
Holy shit..That trail looks so fun. I love that rocky stuff.
very good ride..this track it is very difficult at some points..it's looks like (sfakia extreme trail) here in Greece Crete Chania..Keep going like that guys..!
Holy hell, that trail looked gnarly as f**k! I know GoPro footage mutes how insane stuff actually is, and it still looked ridiculous! Awesome vid!
Haha, *steeper than it looks....
i think there should be a #followcameveryday
would make it less special, and maybe it would affect content quality
mtb.78 yeah definetly
haha i second that!
But I want you to be frothing for Friday!!!! Haha.
nope. There would be less hype :)
This trail looks insanely sick and gnarly and full out dope
Great video, Nate !! Flowy and technical, those NZ trails must be awesome to ride!!
So fun. Worth the trip for sure.
Wow!!! That looks epically fantastic!!!
Those are some rugged trails man, real wild! So cool and nice riding man! I would be scared as hell haha!
I like what they've done with the rocks.
Neatly organized with retainer walls....
Jeezus, wouldn't want to ride that in a rain storm. Kudos to the trail builders, looks rad.
Harder in the wet fog sure.
grey shirt was flying through those switchbacks! damn, another reason i need to get myself to new Zealand for a few weeks..
Do it!
Awesome footage as usual!
Thanks!
Awesome footage yet again nate..you should come to the uk we have some great bike parks here
Always
This is the steepest one I've seen so far on your channel.
Incredible riding skills. Kudos to u.
Definitely the steepest sustained pitch I have filmed.
great riding! Looked sketchy af on the gopro footage, cant imagine what it's like in person!
Craziest trail I have ever seen, not counting Redbull Rampage ones....
Amazing riding Nate!
Same, that was insane.
Hey Nate, this one just popped up as a suggested video to watch, so I rolled with it even though it was a few years old. Really interesting trail system. I kept seeing all the Junctions coming in from the sides. It was pretty crazy how the further you went down this Trail, the steeper, skinnier, looser, and narrower it became. At one point I was starting to think it wasn't follow cam Friday anymore because the buddy you had in front of you was gaining great lengths on you. Maybe he was a local and knew the trail well. Definitely a challenging stretch of trail with a lot of pleasurable flow if your sphincter could handle it! Thanks for sharing :-)
That looked awesome steep Nate, nice footage!
Holy 💩! Looks pretty damn steep! Love it!
I think that's the gnarliest trail I've ever seen. Steep, rocky, exposed, narrow, steep, steep!! How the heck could a person keep their weight off the front end for soooo long????
That looks amazing, great riding 👍👍👍
I think that's the gnarliest track I've seen yet
I have never seen a POV video where I thought "Shit, I'd have to walk that" ...... until now.
Couple of rowdy sections on this track.
Gnarly stuff!! Look steep as hell!!!
man.... Ted Morton is such a smooth rider makes things look so easy when I'm so sure there not
Bloody Hell, I have never felt nervous watching a u tube video before. What a track.
I was sweating bullets.
God damn those are some sweet looking trails
Some of the fines construction anywhere.
Gnar gnar babe! Real single track there. Wow!
So gnarly! Lovin this stuff man
I am now officially afraid of heights! 😂 amazing that you got all the way down without even stepping of the bike 👍
What a trail! Whoever did this should receive a medal!
Agreed.
Steep switchback time! Good stuff.
That is next level riding right there.
bloody hell. I use to live 10 km from there for 7 years and didn't know this place existed ... We even went for a swim in the river down there a few times. Not fair :(
Wow, tough looking trail! You know when it looks steep on camera, then it was probably like going down a wall. Your skills negotiating that trail, especially those switchbacks, are great. You would come around a few of those switchbacks and see my body tumbling down in front of you. As always, your videos are fun to watch.
One of the steeper legal trails I have ridden for sure. So good!
Nate Hills "legal"!! ha!
Wish you could post longer vids. Great ride!
Beautiful and terrifying all at once. That must have been crazy, I rarely hear you on your brakes.
Lots of brakes on this one, lol!
Looked like a damn roller coaster rather than a trail LOL
Awesome footage!! Badass channel man!! Keep it up👍🏽
Thanks!
Beautiful track !
Geeze... My forearms would be so tired when I got to the bottom of that. I know I tense up in tough sections and that whole thing was tough!
Now I'm an enduro guy from Central Idaho and have done pretty much all the trails you guys sent in Utah. I'm surprised though you guys haven't done anything on Galbraith in Bellingham WA, Post Canyon in Hood River OR, Sun Valley Idaho, Port Angeles, or Vancouver Island. If there were places that beat out Moab those would be it. Granted you guys are more tech savy riders but there's pretty insane tech riding along with some of the best freeride riding in those places. My favorite thing to do is time you on all those Moab trails, and try to race you guys whenever I go and bum out down there but I'm hoping to do the same thing at those other places.
I make a bunch of Moab videos because I have friends there and it is only 4 hrs from where I live in Colorado. If you want some motivation, check out some of Kyles KOM's in town.... Although we are riding fast, we are just cruising in the videos usually.
I have ridden Hood River and Sandy a bunch. I will definitely be filming in those areas and Bellingham at some point. Amazing trail in all of those places. Thanks for watching!
I live in nelson but u have to be over 18 to ride there because health and safty reasons yet theres still tones of other sick trails in nelson
629, peeking, Maitai Face, Putakari. Some of my favorites!! So good!
Rugged is right! Looked really challenging and steep.
Epic, looked like best rides ever.
man what a trail ,sick ride....
Every video of yours makes me want to go out and ride a trail. Keep it up and nice riding. Are you going to go to Bluederby in Tasmania Australia? It is the best trails I have ever ridden.
Thanks for watching, no Tasmania for me.
Hello how are you
I am one of my lovers of the stairs and I love the videos that you publish with a good hug in Huaitka😍👏👍
Holy $#!T that was some sick riding on some sick trails! I've got to learn to kick up my back end and reposition my bike like that!
The nose pick is a crucial maneuver one tracks like this, so fun.
Nate Hills got any tips on starting out some basic practice for that? Is there a major shift in body weight forwards and slightly in the direction you want the rear end to move to?
Grab a hand full of front brake and swing the hips around. You can practice this on flat ground until you are dialed. When the switchbacks get tight, this helps hugely with exit speed.
Thanks Nate, that makes a lot of sense to me! Got something new to try on my local switchbacks after some practicing!
Get it!
Woow what an epic Super technical trail! \m/
HOLY AWESOME TRAILS!!
always a good watch!!
Super awesome clear sound.
Is there a mountain bike shop near this park where I can buy the balls needed to ride that trail?
I had to do it Nate..... I had no choice...... watch this again ..... your best video to date.
Haha, addict. That track was so sick!
Great riding as always, killing it 🤘
Omg what is that for a trail, this is awsome 👌👌🤘😜
New Zealand is an amazing place to ride aswell.
Man these guys have some mad descending skills
That middle section looks like they took a rock slide and made a trail out of it...its got its own retaining walls!
That is exactly what is going on here..... so good.
Did you guys make it up to Wanaka? I think you guys would of liked the dirt jump park there
Next time.
great video look like a fun and scary trail
that was a walking trail u are kidding me mate ahaha that was insane!
Properly steep! 👌🏼👍🏼🤘🏼✋🏼🤗
this is freaking awesome road I feel in some parts his going down
I can see why you said the 5 may have been a better bike choice for the trip!
Nose-picks all day long.
God damn this is rad. I need to get over to NZ asap.
how in the world did you make it down in one piece? I would have died a thousand horrible deaths... kudos!
and you know the trail is more than steep if the video doesn't even show the bars anymore...
One of the steepest man-made trails I can recall riding. So good!!
Ridden bogey skidder yet?
Who built that trail system??? So much work in every switchback!
Apparently, a millionaire that made his money in styrofoam cups had this built for him. He has 7 private parks world wide. No shit.
Man, what a life
Bucket listed for sure
I'm going NZ in August (basically middle of winter there) so I won't even get to experience any of the MTB scene properly 😣
Should still be rideable....
south island round Queenstown is a ski resort in the winter and that's where I'm going to be. Only on the North island for maybe 3 days if that
That looks sick, keep shredding man🤙
Wow, those weren't mountain bike trails, but mountain goat trails. Gotta hand it to whomever paved those sections ... that's a lot of work!
So hard to build in steep terrain like this. Props to the builders!
The audio is so satisfying
Great video!
Still my fave 🤘
another awesome video😍😍😍
