  • I enjoyed the riding in Wairoa Gorge so much that one episode was just not enough. Mountain biking one of the steeper lines, DMT to Devolution. Swithchbacks for days, following Ted Morton and Simon Mclaine. Do you even switchback bro??? #followcamfriday, all 4K, all damn day.

      Might be the best I've ever seen. To even scope that out and make it ridable must've been a huge undertaking.

    That was a rotor smoker! Loved the part at 4:37. Watching the footage, it looked like the trail just went straight into a boulder! Loved how they had that one fence up on the left, as if the rest of the 30+ foot falls on the left side would just sting a little. That trail looked NASTY! Steep on GoPro = Ridiculous in person Excellent riding as always....keep 'em coming!

    Again, great skills there Nate. You know it is steep when the GoPro footage appears to be looking straight down and the switchbacks have planks built into the side of the mountain to keep the rock slides to a minimum!! Reminds me of a classic Cypress Hill song...."Insane in the membrane"...keep em coming.

    Hey Nate, this one just popped up as a suggested video to watch, so I rolled with it even though it was a few years old. Really interesting trail system. I kept seeing all the Junctions coming in from the sides. It was pretty crazy how the further you went down this Trail, the steeper, skinnier, looser, and narrower it became. At one point I was starting to think it wasn't follow cam Friday anymore because the buddy you had in front of you was gaining great lengths on you. Maybe he was a local and knew the trail well. Definitely a challenging stretch of trail with a lot of pleasurable flow if your sphincter could handle it! Thanks for sharing :-)

    Now I'm an enduro guy from Central Idaho and have done pretty much all the trails you guys sent in Utah. I'm surprised though you guys haven't done anything on Galbraith in Bellingham WA, Post Canyon in Hood River OR, Sun Valley Idaho, Port Angeles, or Vancouver Island. If there were places that beat out Moab those would be it. Granted you guys are more tech savy riders but there's pretty insane tech riding along with some of the best freeride riding in those places. My favorite thing to do is time you on all those Moab trails, and try to race you guys whenever I go and bum out down there but I'm hoping to do the same thing at those other places.

    • @natehills9388
      @natehills9388  7 років тому +1

      I make a bunch of Moab videos because I have friends there and it is only 4 hrs from where I live in Colorado. If you want some motivation, check out some of Kyles KOM's in town.... Although we are riding fast, we are just cruising in the videos usually.
      I have ridden Hood River and Sandy a bunch. I will definitely be filming in those areas and Bellingham at some point. Amazing trail in all of those places. Thanks for watching!

      Nate Hills got any tips on starting out some basic practice for that? Is there a major shift in body weight forwards and slightly in the direction you want the rear end to move to?

    • @natehills9388
      @natehills9388  7 років тому

      Grab a hand full of front brake and swing the hips around. You can practice this on flat ground until you are dialed. When the switchbacks get tight, this helps hugely with exit speed.
