Since the metal song extract in the video is a generic one (Bang Bang - Where's Lulu) does any one know the actual name of the death metal band of his father? Wikipedia doesn't mention it at all neither.
It's more athletic than anything you've done in your entire life. And it's basically the same shit as gymnastics floor routines in terms of vague scoring.
How is it any different than ice skating, figure skating, surfing, skateboarding that are all in the olympics? Breaking dancing is actually technically way more difficult than all the other sports I just mentioned. Not saying I like all those sports in the the olympics either. I don't think anything that is (creative) subjectively judged should be in the olympics. It's like a painting, some people like Van Gogh's style of painting, some don't. Creativity can't be judged with points.
With all due respect, this isn't a bullshit sport like bowling. There is an astonishing amount of athletic ability displayed here. I work out a lot but I will never have the combination of musicality, athleticism, and talent to do what he's doing. From a physiological/human ability perspective, I'd say this is Olympics-worthy.
@@Uilani-g4m I wouldn’t say it’s ’way more difficult’ than any of the sports you mentioned… there’s some crossover, but just a little. I was a competitive gymnast (and eventually a coach), and bc of that, I’ve dabbled in a lot of other sports- skateboarding, break dancing, ice skating, just to name a few… gymnastics gave me the athleticism to pick up some of the required skills in these other sports fairly easily. These are all sports that are harder to pick up as an adult, our body has to have SOME muscle memory for stuff like this. I’m in my 30’s now, and I’m definitely nowhere near the athlete I used to be! I can still tumble and flip on a tumbletrak (long minimally bouncy trampoline) but I know I can’t throw certain skills like I could when I was young! In my humble opinion, gymnastics and skateboarding are the hardest of the sports you mentioned, skateboarding is definitely the scariest!!! (Depending on what level you’re skating at, dropping in on a half pipe is way scarier than swinging giants on a high bar! In gymnastics we get mats to break our falls, with skateboarding, there’s only concrete!) 🫣
I’M ROOTING FOR VICTOR! Always been a fan. Can’t wait to see him in the Olympics
Congratulations 🎉🍾🎈🎊 Victor 🎉🎉❤

They had some band shirts on, was that the name of their band?? ‘Decide’ is what their shirts said… did you try that?
Is is really a win when they keep all the most of the best dancers out the games so you can win?
NOT EVEN FR PUERTO RICO 🤔

Being an elite dancer is way different than dancing with your friends at the club
