It's actually much simpler than even that. Mirrorjade pass is minus, so you might as well send shit off Branded Fusion that pluses you. It's the exact reason conventional builds are on Patchwork. Up against the flipping monkes who Ash Dangers on MD though? Absolutely 100% yes.

Joe, I honestly love your videos. I'm not really a yugioh player, but I've found your channel somehow and I really enjoy just watching ya do your thing. Your upbeat nature makes it really enjoyable to just chill. Hope you're having a good day dude.
Yo Joe, you really opened my eyes here I had no idea this deck was so non- linear and fun. It's a great archetype for your series as well. Good work sir you are truly a gentleman and a scholar.
I love this series. Its so refreshing getting to see a deck be playtested and improved along the way and its nice to see all these archetypes be given a spotlight. You've always been in my top 3 yugitubers ever since what-a-deck. (also I like the legacy tickets cause I got 3 phoenix gearfried and a smoke grenade from them)
Hey hardleg! I’m often a lurker during your streams, you have such a fun personality and make for perfect background noise when working/studying. Thanks for making my day brighter, loved watching the preda progression live lol.
Man hearing you break into A Favor House Atlantic nearly gave me whiplash. Coheeds one of my favorite bands and I just didn't expect that while watching this climb.
Predaplants are such great fun, excited to see how this goes. Also side note about cubics, honestly crazy how pretty decent they are especially compared to the other Movie villain archetypes.
Honestly, seeing you play Predaplants makes me want to build the deck in both Master Duel and IRL. Thanks for inspiring me to build this deck and give it a try, Joe 😀
Now with the recent support Predas are pretty funny. Also enjoyed a bunch of them parallel to watching some of those streams. Love this jumpscare of Triph, when you resolve all your "after-fusion effects" and suddenly it gets to 10k+ attack.
I've been off Master Duel for a while now, funnily enough because Branded seemed so boring and I got sick of losing to it. But you made Preda-Branded look like a lot of fun, so I'm probably going to go back in that build, and maybe finally get into Diamond for the first time. Thanks Hardleg!

That quote unquote hero deck was the most hodgepodge assortment of cards I've ever seen. Making two sunrise just to link them into Verte and then top-decking the singleton widow anchor.
Prediplant's always seemed so boring to me and Verte gave me a slight dislike towards them. However it might be because of all the new cards or maybe because so many fusion archtypes are in the meta right now, but this deck was surprisingly fun to watch play. I think it might be the fact it doesn't have a standard path it follows, maybe I was in a very good mood or maybe it was entirely the Hardleg charisma carrying it, but this was one of my favorite Ladder Climbs of recent date. Anywho will be looking forward to what the superheroes can de next time.
2:16:26 imagine losing with all those floodgate Better yet, imagine using any of those 3 floodgate. 😂He got a dose of karma served on a plate full of plants with a side of snow
From Branded Predaplant, to A Favor House Atlantic, God damnit I didn't know you were One Among The Fence Glad you enjoyed my comment bud, had to stop watching just to listen to the nostalgia, thanks bro.
I used to think that legacy tickets were useless aswell but I was sorely corrected when I realized that abyss dweller and the cicada king xyz are in there aswell as some fun niche cards in there aswell that actually work well against specific formats
I love predaplant. it was the first deck I played when I got back into the game earlier last year. it was cheap, and effective with the branded structures I had bought.
Been trying out Predator Plants, and I've found I can reliably get Tryphyovertum on the field with Greater Polymerization, a spell that not only fusion summons, but ALSO gives the monster piercing and immunity to effect destruction.
The shinies are for intimidation, and triggering confirmation bias. I wouldn't call them entirely useless if you account for their psychological effects.
Do remember that this climb was recorded early in the month, just so it gets uploaded before the month passes. So I imagine the timing of both videos was either a coincidence or planned to be uploaded on the same day. Can't say for sure.
All DuelLogs videos are pre-recorded. They take time to edit lol. I recorded that one like a week ago. The Ladder Climbs are recorded slowly over the course of a month. Them coming out on the same day was a cooincidence
Absolutely amazing content like always. I've wanted to make a predaplant deck for months, but had no idea how to play it, so I'll be using this video for reference Though I'm a bit curious, why not play the harpy spell that destroys all the opponents spells and traps when backrow destruction is so important to have 3 cosmic cyclones? Also, why not play Allure of darkness when you're playing pretty much all dark monsters?
He did play feather duster at one point but Cyclone is a quick play which means you can chain it to stuff like Floodgates or an on field activation of Runick Fountain to deny your opponent their effects as a response. And very occasionally banishing rather than destroying can get around destruction protection. As for Allure, its only a neutral on card advantage since it just replaces itself and the card it banishes. The decks that make the best use of Allure are decks like Thunder Dragon that use the banish to trigger their effects to plus further. So it wouldn’t really do much for him that all his searching couldn’t do already and later on when his deck slots were getting tight he’d not have much space to make room for it without giving up space to the cards he was relying on that actually do something. Kind of like Frightfur Patchwork.
Yay finally more spotlight for the fusion munch hahah I was so excited to see its new support finally make to the game and around the time when albaz fusion dragons were running rampant, it was a fun and successful deck I made even helped get all my daily’s done but I do mess up if I don’t have a decent hand going second
Predaplant hydra is a great in archetype kaiju when counters are being thrown around. Made a predap deck not to long ago and kept it as pure as possible. A really fun deck and I wish that anaconda was non generic and only worked in its home. Would make the deck so much better but as it is I'm glad it's banned in the tcg/ocg
My take of Prediplant is that people never focused on the plant part enough. There is a lot of plant support out there after all. But for end states plants do have it rough as being xenophobic to other monster types. But Rikka/Aromage/Sylvan/Sunavalon/Prediplant of some combo I think is the current way to go; I am just unsure how to balance the 4 together so Xyz/link/synchro/fusion can mesh best with it. Not sure if any others agree with me... I am a casual player so maybe I over estimate the support.
Allright allright ;-D He who likes big numbers gets a Thumb from me. Because that effect resolves and stacks with multiple copies of itself, this might be the way to 1000 Likes ! :-D
I tried my own tech of Number 83 Galaxy Queen and I quite like it. Have two level ones already, special summon byslip due to it's effect, xyz summon Galaxy Queen, use her effect by ditching byslip, get byslip effect cause it goes to the graveyard
Honestly ever since they added Pendulums to Predaplant I’ve added the long list cousin to starving venom in my deck. That’s be Lethal Dose Dragon lol but I only play him cause I hate playing against Pendulums so clearing their field with super poly if they are all dark will always bring a smile lol
Fun animal fact. The animal Ambulomelides is based on is not a dinosaur...or even a reptile for that matter. It's a primitive whale.
