You can at least get off one use of Chatot before it dies, which can easily give you more cards than both Professors at once. Oak takes up 2 card slots in game where deck space is at a premium. Also, this is why Red Card is generally bad. Most decks don't keep a lot of good cards in hand and it is generally far more beneficial to see 3 or more (with Chatot) new cards. I run a "fake" Celebi deck with Serperior and the new Exeggutor. Exeggutor is pretty nasty against energy hungry cards such as Celebi. I've beaten a couple of Celebi decks already with this.
Hes prioritizing getting the serperior consistently. Getting the serperior online even just 1 turn earlier is better than potion in most cases. If u cant get serperior then potion prob wont save the game either
I think Serperior is the most broken card in the set. Now we absolutely need ways to shut abilities down or more ways to deal 110 damage to the backrow. Even Dhelmise is a pretty stupid card with Serperior. You don't have to go Celebi ex. Celebi is already debatably a S-tier card on its own, Serperior is SS+ tier, making any grass pokemon with high energy cost kind of broken. People are sleeping on the 100 HP on Dhelmise. You need Giovanni to take this out a lot of the time. Venusaur ex is also pretty stupid with Serperior if it actually high rolls. It's basically unstoppable - the high roll is the only thing getting in this one's way.

Also, this is why Red Card is generally bad. Most decks don't keep a lot of good cards in hand and it is generally far more beneficial to see 3 or more (with Chatot) new cards. Decks are small enough that things like Sabrina, Giovanni, or Erika can easily be shuffled back into your deck without much consequences if it means a higher chance to find your Stage 1 or Stage 2.
Not saying its "perfect" but Alakazam plays pretty nicely into this matchup. Serperior doubles the bonus damage of Psychic.
I just fought someone using caterpie to find their pieces faster, it was absolutely genius imo
Alakazam or Jynx worked well against Celebi x Serperior. The effect of Serperior also does for Jynx and Alakazam
I run a "fake" Celebi deck with Serperior and the new Exeggutor. Exeggutor is pretty nasty against energy hungry cards such as Celebi. I've beaten a couple of Celebi decks already with this.
lowkey might've cooked with a druddigon deck. paired him with greninja and new rapidash 👀
Remember, guys... "GO TOH SUM GRAS!"
I have a crazy counter cook marshadow, new aero, hypno, and jinx
For max crash out replace aero and jinx with Alakazam line and kanga
I think gengar with mew as a tank and the new item card to draw quicker is a nice counter against all trainer cards💁🏼♂️
Miguel, will you be doing the new pve battles?
what about tauros + giovanni to counter both mew and celebi + some chip damage/tank to get the energies and get other EX in kill range
1:21 Wouldnt 2 potions be better than one Pokedex and one Red card?
Hes prioritizing getting the serperior consistently. Getting the serperior online even just 1 turn earlier is better than potion in most cases. If u cant get serperior then potion prob wont save the game either
Jinx and Alakazam goes BRRRRRRRRRRR
Honestly as long as you don't go up against a Charizard ex deck the new Egg is just better
And decks that use a tank or a frontline that has 2 and 3 retreat costs could run one to be more flexible.
“Mew can’t copy celebi’s attack” he doesn’t know the mew, gardevoir and jynx counter
Jinx goes crazy
You know this was the first deck I made this expansion too lol
They only need to give celebi a 3-cost retreat or we’re cooked 😭
What is the point of pokedex? Even if you know whats comig, you cant affect it. Or is the idea to use pokeball to shuffle deck?
Do you not think Exeggutor would be better?
Can you do an Alakazam deck to counter this?
Articuno and starmieEX with misty was already bad but this is next level disgusting 😭😭😭💀
Celebi or serperior going on a future ban list. Bet on it 😂
He had to play this deck before it becomes meta 😂
Alakazam be like: 😋😋😋🍴
Got 2 inmersives in a x10 pull, happiest day in the week❤
Is it really worth it to play any Dhelmise? Seems like investing into Celebi as quickly as possible is better to me
I thought the same but until serperior gets on the board celebi doesnt really come on line so a wall is quite nice
@Not_An_EV gotcha, makes sense. I was playing with it all day, gonna have to tinker with it.
@@CJinOside Yeah there might be better bodies out there / better builds that don't need del but I'm yet to find one consistent enough.
Absolutely offtopic but... How am I supposed to get to build these new decks as a F2P player? I mean, I managed to get Celebi EX on my first pull, but now... What should I do? I went full F2P until now and managed to get full Mewtwo, Pikachu and Starmie EX decks but idk what to do now, is there any chance without spending in this first expansion?
Do solo missions earn tickets and spend them all on hourglasses that are expiring in shop,
@@kessahmed647 I don't think that is enough at all, given the fact that I already did most of those 😅
