I think Kyrie goes nutz in game 6. It seems like he has been measuring the defense against the Mavs.
i mean he’s been getting doubled a lot since luka was in a rut but now that luka starting to hit his 3’s they can’t leave him open anymore and now chef kyrie is gonna cook them boys, straight to the fryer.
Luka goes nuts too.....will be like the Harlem Globetrotters.
Mavs just look like the better team in this series honestly. Should already be over if not for that embarrassing throw in game 4

Yea they truly lost and gave that game… thunder didn’t win it. But it’s all good, there’s ups and downs in the playoffs. Mavs are good at learning and changing things every time they lose.
Interesting fact is, whenever the Mavs needed role player to showed up everybody seems taken the responsibilty very well. Maxi 1st round against Clippers, and now PJ & DJJ (THJ also showed up). Gafford & D-Live consistently a rim protector for us in this playoff.
Green also showed up in game 2 & 3.
It's wild lively is about to be in the Wcf as a rookie, and being a huge reason why too

A hobbled Luka is handling the # 1 team in the West with the player who is supposedly "robbed" of the MVP in SGA, and the Coach of the Year as well. How quickly people forget that Luka did something similar in 2022. Luka is clearly going to be the next face of the league, and the people who are hating on him for no reason other than the color of his skin are going to be even more miserable than they already are for many years to come lol
What's miserable is assuming that people that hate him do it because of the color or his skin.

What's also miserable is your reading comprehension. There are people who hate Luka for basketball reasons and that is perfectly fine. There are also people that hate him for his skin pigmentation and those are the ones my comment is referring to. Take your time reading next time.

They have to choose who they are going to allow to score. With so much pressure on Luca and Kyrie I don’t see how they can also lock up PJ and DJ. It’s going to be tough. If they slack on Kyrie he can easily go off for 30+. Only hope is to win with exceptional offense, but Mavs are defensively locked in. Try to win by boards, you’re going to drain your energy and create more space for Dallas. Seems to be a checkmate.
what im wondering is... will we get maxi in the next series assuming mavs close this one out?
They said he’d be reevaluated in 3 weeks on May 5th. Game 3 would be on the 26th. So probably game 4 at the earliest but idk how likely that is.

Facts. People talk about the Nuggets-Wolves series like it's the "real WCF", but I think the Mavs can take both of them. It's crazy how with the exception of Luka and Kyrie, everybody in the Mavs starting lineup has a backup that's pretty much just as good. DJJ has THJ, PJ has Maxi (when he gets healthy), AND GAFF HAS D-LIVE. Exum, Jaden Hardy, and Josh Green are also decent backups for when LuKy needs a rest.

Stop it. Dallas is playing good defense on the interior but ONLY cause OKC is shooting well below their season average from 3. The defense has nothing to do with that. They’re getting lots of open 3’s. They’re just not making them like they were when they had the best percentage in the league.
If OKC had shot its average from 3 in game 5, they would have scored an additional 18 points. I know that’s not how games work but it’s a reference point that goes a long way to explaining why Dallas is up a game in the series.
Not all open 3s are made equal. Regular season atlanta hawks player pretending to run at you compared to derick jones 7 foot wingspan just flying at you. You mess up your rythm just a little bit cause you think you should get it out quicker and it's a miss.
OKC is literally shooting above their regular season splits for open 3s. Y’all will do anything to discredit the second best defense in the nba

@@ErroneousMonk1yes because you brought up open 3s. They are shooting 42% from open 3s in this postseason and are struggling from the perimeter because of Dallas defense. Like it or hate it Dallas is the reason they are shooting so poorly so cry about it 🤷
