God i loved how Doohan used to bury the front end into a corner ! Never seen anyone else ride quite how he did. So many great riders in those four or five seasons, happy days.......
All ThE top class have ever been real GP bikes....And i would say all ThE classes...until m2 was invented un 2010...which was not Dorna to blame...but ThE reluctance of brands to create 250cc 2 Strokes machines...And enviromental progress too
The most pure riding style...nervous bikes out of the corners were controled by real motogp riders...technology has become the world championship in a bored one to see today...riders skills are not so important today like it were in the later 80,s early 90,s...
Great vid & music. No one's bike seems to be particularly well sorted out and set up. Some serious moments coming out of turns on the throttle - those bikes could be beasts! Number 19 on the team Marlboro Yamaha is Freddie Spencer - according to Yamaha page, says Freddie signed with Yamaha in '89 & raced with them again in '93. Are we certain about the date of this vid?
If you could keep one of these 150+ horsepower machines up without crashing you were definatly one of the best riders. Even the people who got lapped could easily beat a lot of people.
2 strokes were killed off because of the children . al gore said , and i quote " 2 stroke 500cc moto gp motorcycle racing is the SOLE cause for global warming " . i know i now breathe better i my everyday life , the sunsets are crisper , in fact my whole quality of life is better now . thanks mr gore . but what about weedeaters .....

Yeah! I'm with you. I remember those bikes with fondness.

I don't know about the year but that guy on number 19 was John Kocinski, not Freddie Spencer...
@@TIGER-xl7xg What?!
I don't think so
@@joegilgan9295 you can check from moto gp's official website or through Wikipedia..
Moreover Spencer never rode with No. 19 bike...
@@TIGER-xl7xg umm,I watch MotoGP.
19 is his number
Adding to favorites... :) 5*

I love this montage! Can anyone tell me the name of the original song?
Today's bikes would be fine if it weren't for the traction control crap. Those twitches coming out of the corners are so cool.
Those are MORE than twitches! Nobody looked very well dialed in, everyone's bike appears to be not well set up!
can u tell me the name of the music , especially in the beginning
Legends
soundtrack sounds like "running man"
which song is this?
@2:32...what track?
Old Laguna Seca
who is number 5?
@Scootertuner1000 And!!!???!!!
@Scootertuner1000 I know that!!!
Think how interesting it would be if they banned traction control today, that would be fun!
4:05 - 4:10... man...
