@@SomethingBoutEclipse there is no beef between the two. they have just grown apart and are now rivals of sorts. if they truly had real beef, i don't think the john militant skin would still be in the game.

Fitting how he used millitant to show the new cta considering that, Militant had a ability that would turn him into a gorilla and both are voiced by john ( i know they replaced it but the old ones are better ngl )

Yes, the commander itself got kinda worse. But imma be honest commander is far from being ruined or useless. 3 seconds in between chains is not that long and only kinda affects hardcore. The APC's are really neay and even if the nerfs are problematic, theres an update coming out tomorrow that can fix them. Makes sense to release a massive rework like this now to get community feedback ngl.
i dont like how they removed the john voiceline, its like they are removing every trace of him, first they removed the code for his militant skin, then removed his statue in the brick battle map and NOW his voicelines? just because he made a rival game doesn't mean you have to remove everything john roblox related...

Honestly parsley or someone who joined during 2023 I have no sentimental attachment to John's voice lines were they memorable for the amount of time I spent with them yes do I understand why they removed them yes this is a soft rebranding of paradoxum games so goodbye OG Commander and hello Commander 2.0.
but can we talk about how good Commander is like now I understand why they had the placement limit of three this man could actually solo molten mold he has all three detections antique and shoot two times thanks to his two abilities allowing him to attack I don't know who's DPS but hey given that all you need to do is spend $3,000 to basically summon a half decent army I'm not complaining Serene necromancers can do a whole lot

This is balance I say, this made max LVL have use unlike before where it didn't do anything much except for the range increase, damage increase and small fire rate buff.

Dj rework idea : 0.1% discount buff , -10% range buff , 100% enemy health buff (they could have kept the chaining for commander yet still nerfing his firerate)
It’s hard to think that ever since the end of the frost invasion event so many stuff have changed..

Reworked commander is overhated. It's not as op as he was before the rework, yes, but now that he's more unique being the only tower to have 2 active abilities makes it great for both attacking and support, has more use cases and it feels fresh. Also, the skin redesigns are very nice.
The range sucks. The devs only nerfed him cause they didn’t have the self control to not add consumables so little Timmy would buy robux with his mums credit card to get the nuke
John voice is much better its suits very well,compare to the new one
Overall a nerf,especially in hardcore and pw2,the boss’s stun will ruin the spawns,and not to mention they increased the cost price,cool-down timer and his voice :(
Ill say the commander rework is good it can sommon vehicles (I forgor name of vechiles) even tho the firerate decreased by 5% I think it’s a good rework

In max level it didnt change, hear me out, since they remove the other 5 on the cta ability buff, for example accel's tick with the cta activated it stays at 0.60 so removing the other 5 didnt change at all, let me know in the comments.

Let's be honest here:
The firarate boost is worse than 5% before right? Welp is not really big deal since we can use cooldown flag for faster firerate but about the APC is kinda meh (gunner APC have 250 HP with hidden detection and the rocket one is 400 HP but no hidden detection)
And also commander now can detected any type enemy (like lead, hidden and fly) but I can agree that APC is a little bit weak it need to be buff or make the ability use it for free (like call of arm ability) and they remove John's voice.
For me is still good but I don't think the new ability is good enough.
This is my opinion, don't take it too serious about it.
(and maybe I'm wrong at some point so yea)
