Famous Actor Dilip Kumar( yousuf khan) also rejected Lata Mangeshkar because she was not used to singing Urdu songs . Lata Mangeshkar has to take Urdu lessons before singing in bollywood songs.
Urdu is OK, but why Congress want to bring reservation to Kannada people? (people who can read and write Kannada( if not certified in school certificate then non Kannada person has to take it externally and pass it). Congress committed vote doesn't even speak Kannada (even after settled in Karnataka for generations) and do not want Kannada. Then to whom they are forcing Kannada? One of the worst state government. Still they will be in power for 4 years. Imagine the damage they can do?

Hindi is not the mother tongue of Kannda people. Those people with hindi mother tongue are allowed learn to learn hindi.
