I feel Bink but at the same time I understand the side of a young producer/rapper who wouldn't turn down an opportunity (that wouldn't benefit them financially) because they think the opportunity alone may change their life/circumstances. 9/10 if they haven't been in "the business" they don't know "the business" & of course "the business" is going to take advantage of that like it always has even since before my guy Bink made it big. Youngin mama might be sick, or grandma, trying to get his mama out the hood, take care of his struggling family, etc etc & may feel like if they turn down an opportunity another one may never come. These situational circumstances are nothing new. Of course if a Future, Drake, or somebody came to a young unknown broke struggling producer who's a fan of them (I wouldn't refer to it as d riding) & wanted a beat they'd give it to them for almost nothing because that's their dream & their going to assume this is the song that is going to change their life. Same goes for a big name producer who wants to sign an unknown young artist & signs them to a f'd up deal. We can't blame a young 🥷🏾for being a young 🥷🏾but we can blame them for not listening when we're trying to teach (this coming from a 🥷🏾 who's in between both eras).
Damn Bink is right
"When you do something for them, it's "family". When you ask them to do something for you, it's business"
When Toomp said in that interview with KLC that Bink was brutally honest, he wasn't lying lol
I appreciate these Producer Interviews is well needed love toomp and bink.
I concur
This is one of the best interviews!!!
Toomp was thinking about TI when Bink was speaking lol
💯💯
I love this conversation as a producer myself.
IF YOU DON'T STAND FOR SOMETHING .. YOU WILL DO ANYTHING ..

When negotiating, your leverage is having the ability to walk away from something that isn't beneficial to you!!

It bugs me out that Bink produced Kurupt feat. Nate Dogg “Girls All Pause”.
Where the cash at they want beats for free
