Happy Earth Day 2024

To celebrate Earth Day, the Dodger Stadium landscapers spent the day with the Los Angeles Leadership Academy students to teach about planting and taking care of our planet.

Love that Dodger Stadium is celebrating Earth Day. It would be even lovelier if with $$$ Guggenheim is making that they could purchase the parking lots from Frank McCourt. Upgrade the trees that are are planted currently there with indigenous shade trees. Ones that will plant deep roots & help stabilize the hillsides around Ravine, while helping cut down erosion. With so much cement and pavement in the parking lots, Dodger Stadium parking becomes a heat reflector for downtown LA. Redesigning that parking to include 2 parking structure on opposite ends of the stadium and breakup the much of the pavement for an actual park with indigenous plants; would help reduce some of the heat in downtown, increase available game day parking, make the area around Dodger Stadium family friendly and incorporate LA Downtown city neighborhoods for events not on game day. What do I know? I’d love to see the area around the Stadium be upgraded and McCourt to stop making $ off of my parking fees. 🤬

I’m on the bus driver’s side believe it or not. The biker endangered people on that bus, used emergency equipment outside of an emergency, damaged property, there is a safety screen in the driver’s compartment for a reason and he damaged council property by throwing that bin. The people and the the driver could leave the bus with trauma. The worst thing that could happen is the driver is charged for reckless driving.
