Thanks for the useful information.I take it the dcc ready version comes with the speaker already fitted so if you want to add sound you just put a sound decoder in? Thanks in advance for your answer Regards Andy M
Good catch... :) I'm originally from Welwyn Garden City but moved to Ireland when I was a kid.. then moved here to the States when I graduated from University... so you never quite know which accent is going to appear when I speak :) The dark green chassis looks fantastic.. Glad you enjoyed the loco, looks like they are planning to do a second run..
No half the axlebox detail on the tender isn't missing. When compared with photos of the real thing, there is one piece of detail in the center of the springs missing. This could be easily corrected with a detailing pack or something though...
What happened to the footage of you fixing the copper pick up strips? You go from brandishing a pair of long nose pliers saying you’re going to repair it on video to putting the tender body back on, without showing us the fix?
I walk you through the fix at 6:20. The copper plate was falling through the slot, the other side was slightly angled, so used the needle nose pliers to bend it slightly inward. Now if you are uncertain how to bend a copper tab a fraction of a mm inwards, you probably shouldn't attempt it yourself and just send it back for repair. You basically push it up and bend it where it comes through the slit, its not something you want to do at arms length on camera..
wow congratulations on a service video of such a new loco, always curious to see how things have been done
Excellent video! Have you taken the loco body off yet and if so please could you do another video?
Nice video and clearly has no problem pulling 10 coaches. Are they Bachmanns?

Yes that's correct. I have the decoder, ordered it after I got the loco. I will try to do a video on it later this week.
Hi
How much was the decoder if you don't mind me asking I have contacted kr models but they are waiting for more stock

@@Oorail that’s fair enough. I just found it a bit odd that you didn’t video it that’s all
