A man works from dust to dawn but a women's work is never done. This is an old saying. I thought of it while watching you clean. Everything looks so nice. Great job Stephanie! A Nana from Texas
@@LittleBlessedNest your mum a smart lady. As someone who lives in a drought prone country (Australia), I die a little every time I see the tap continuously running, lol. And I’m sure you also mentioned in another video the other day that you’ll be hanging out your washing, and not putting it in a dryer. Love this as well. I know it’s probably because you don’t have the room, but I love that you’ll be using the free sun to dry your things. I have a dryer, and apart from very bad weather, always hang my things out. I hope your channel continues to grow. Can you put the things in your junk drawer in some large bin with a lid, and slide it behind your rubbish bin, especially the things you don’t grab for on the daily. It’d also give you more drawer space.
@@LittleBlessedNest Another thing you could do is get a plastic tub of some sort that will fit about half of your sink. Fill that with the hot, soapy water and wash the dishes in there, then hold off to the non-tub side of the sink to rinse. It keeps your wash water from cooling or diluting. Not a huge concern to most probably, but it's an idea. Where to keep the little tub in between washing though....? lol I know.
I watched your trailer remodel. You all did a great job for a budget. I too am so sick of paying rent. 1,200 a month with nothing included. I would love to live in a tiny home too.... And would love to not have to pay rent. I would be thriving if I did not pay rent. I do have children, so, when he is older, I am so downsizing... Thanks for sharing your life/dream with us... Glad I went down the UA-cam Rabbit hole today, it landed me here... Have a great day... PS... I too have the same ice makers!!! Old school! LOL... I too remember Saturday morning cleaning with my mom!!! She would pull everything out of the room, wipe down the whole room, the stands, put them back, then wipe down everything that went on that stand... That is old school cleaning. People who still do this, is very far and in between. But I too still do it in my home... Junk drawers are a thing out North also... Gotta have a stash spot for all the junk that can pile up!!!
I am 70. I love watching you. You are proof we don't need all the time saving things to be happy. Cleaning makes me happy. I love cleaning my junk drawers. Don't take long for them to get crammed full of junk. 🌻🌻
I am over 70 and don't give a hoot about not having a dishwasher. I had one for several years and can count on one hand how many times it got used. I love washing my dishes. Little Blessed Nest is blessing us with great videos!
There are hundreds of "clean with me" videos out there, but yours stands out, with your running commentary and dry sense of humor sprinkled throughout! I loved your old school ice maker...I have one just like it, lol. And when you said, "Disgusting but satisfying!" So true, right? I loved watching you and Bonnie, staring at each other...she was probably thinking the same thing: "Mama, you're so pretty." I was thinking a small spring tension rod in front of your trash can would do the trick, holding up a curtain? And why wait for Thanksgiving to enjoy all the flavors??? Dinner looked so yummy! I'm still loving your rug/drapes together...so pretty! Great spending time with you, dear. Pam xo
Thank you so much Pam, you're so sweet! I do have a dry sense of humor, lol. I had one comment asking if I was cleaning or talking. I'm a rambler so I'm glad I have viewers who can appreciate that. I enjoy talking to you guys, makes me feel like I have company while I'm doing chores. Have a great day and thanks for watching!
Girl I was raised the same way and I didn't like to see Saturday morning come lol but it taught me to always keep my house clean and shiny you have a lovely clean 🏡
Love your channel. You are so natural and tell it like it is. Never change. Also, you were saying about the curtain for your garbage can. You can get a small tension rod where it will be against your cabinet and fridge. No nails or hooks needed. 🥰
Hi, I love your channel, i am 63, the first 10yrs of my marriage we lived in a single wide. we had it rough,i think evrything you have done ia amazing!!!! your home is beautiful and so are you .love and prayers for you and timmy.

Stephanie, I can be in the worst mood but when I turn on your channel everything changes. I love how you look at life! Thank you for all the great videos and for sharing your life with us. Be blessed!!
I used a small dowel and two hooks to hang a curtain on my sons loft bed. I cut the dowel to fit the bed perfectly. The key is curtain rings; try a dowel that fits in those command hooks or put up some cup hooks (thats what I used) and use curtain rings that have little clips. It makes it super easy to slide back and forth. The other side of his loft bed doesn’t have rings and it’s much harder to slide on the curtain “rod” - it’s one of those wire ones from IKEA - and the other side with the rings is much easier. Would probably cost $5 or so. I also used dowels for my sidelights next to my door. They are so narrow, nothing else would work.
I just love your little nest. I keep trying to talk my husband into selling our home(we are empty nesters with a 2200 square foot house) it’s too much for me now, I’m almost 62 years old and I have Lupus. I would love to have a little home like you have.
We moved from 2300 sq ft into and 1000 st ft condo and we couldn’t be happier. I love living smaller. You just don’t need all that space once the kids are grown. Hopefully he will come around one day soon.
Hi 🤗🤗 I’m 57 and I’ve been watching your channel for a couple of weeks now, so this is my first comment. I love love ❤️ seeing real life and what you’ve done to fix up your home. It is Amazing!! I live alone in a 2 bedroom apt and I totally get everything you’re saying & can Totally relate! Your hair is beautiful and I predict that soon you will be making so much money on UA-cam that you will get to move to a new home with a stove and a dryer and a dishwasher! 😃😃😄 You have made me count my blessings many times since I started watching & I will look for you on Instagram too. Lord knows Facebook & Twitter just disgust me these days so I’m so happy to find good people like you on these other platforms. Keep up your hard work & God Bless you and your hubby. 👍🏻👍🏻❤️😃
I have a small galley kitchen and I don’t have a dishwasher. I do have room for one right next to my sink but that would cause me to lose the cabinet were I put most of my large pots. Fortunately, I don’t mind washing dishes. I feel I do a better job than the dishwasher would do. If I have to clean most of the crusty stuff off before I put them in the dishwasher, I might as well wash them all the way. When my husband cooks, it looks like the kitchen has exploded. I wash dishes as I go so that by the time I’m finished cooking, there are not dishes left to wash. I let dishes set on the draining board maybe 2 hours tops, then I dry them and put them away. And I can’t stand to start cooking if I already have dishes in the sink. The sink has to be empty before I even start cooking.
Your momma sounds like mine! Pinesol cleaner.. if your house didn’t smell good you were dirty. She would have us up scrubbing everything. Seeing you hang out the wash! You go girl! I have mine out right now. I do a load every two days, this way it’s not a lot to do on sheet day! I LOVE the smell of line dried sheets. I think God smiles when he sees the wash hanging out! God bless!
Really enjoy your cleaning video! I like that you fill your sink with hot suds, and wash your dishes. That's the way our family does it. Your chicken recipe looks so good! I must try it. And if course Bonnie is always a star!!
Or the kind of curtain rod, used for cafe style, very small diameter attaching to hooks on either side? Then slide curtain onto the rod, attach to the hooks.
Love it. And I agree with the , "satisfyingly disgusting" sentiment. It's very satisfying to know an area is clean by the evidence on the rag, lol. I love it when I clean afterwards, sitting in my easy chair and the feeling of acomplishment.
What you’ve done with your home is simply amazing! I love how you have utilized thrifted pieces. They look fabulous and cost so much less. Win, win! Keep sharing! 😀
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your videos I’ve seen since finding your channel earlier this week (or was it last week…I can’t keep up 🤦🏻♀️). You are such a positive light. I love how you are so real and not the least bit fake. All of your remodel was incredible! I pray your channel continues to grow and flourish. I pray for you and Timmy and your precious family. May GOD continue to bless you all! 🙏🏻🤍
Wonderful video. I enjoy all your videos. You’re a beautiful gal inside and out. You decorate so very nice!! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos 😊👍💕

Dollar General Thanksgiving...Girl you floor me with your fun sense of humor! And yes, I too understand the disgusting/satisfaction sort of cleaning. Or the disaster/cleared up sort, too.
OMG ‼️ Another person on the planet USES ICE CUBE TRAYS too ‼️‼️‼️ I said out loud "wait, WHAT?" 😂 The ice maker that came with our fridge in 2004 broke about 10 years ago. We didn't want to spend $129 for new ice maker plus the $80 to have it installed so ICE TRAYS have been our awesome Lil hack! Have a BLESSED, BLESSED day 🙏🏻❤️❤️🙏🏻 Lol Dollar General version of Thanksgiving 😀 LOOKS GOOD! I'm making that 👏🏻❤️👏🏻
I’m really afraid you may eventually run the finish off of your sink using the Bar Keepers friend. I use Dawn dish soap on mine… just a thought !!! The lady who had our house before us actually scrubbed the shiny finish off of our sinks and bathtubs over the years . My mom also used Comet/Ajax etc and her finish was gone as well on tubs and sinks… just don’t want you to ruin your new pretty sink!!
Love watching your videos! You and Timmy are so precious and talented! I hope your channel blows up because the transformation of your home is truly amazing!! Sending you all lots of Love ❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think there is such a thing as a hinged rod. You can "open and close" it to the side. Might be the answer to your trash cubby. (Of course Bonnie likes to stare at you because YOU'RE beautiful, sweet, and kind. Also, you are an encouragement and a blessing to many, including me.)
Hi from the Smoky Mtns. I love the precious memory you shared about the juice glass you have from your Grandmother. As a child I would drink out of Looney Tunes Character glasses and my Mom gave me those and I cherish them.
I love those Looney Tunes glasses. Collected them from going to Lums in FL. in the 70's. Lost track with all the moves & recently got an Elmer Fudd at a junk shop for $1!
I'm catching up on your past videos that I missed. I had to laugh at how ironic thigs were (me cleaning my stove while watching you clean too). Sometimes I turn on music to get me through a cleaning moment. In my neck of the woods, we call your Stovetop meal 'boot-leg chicken dressing' because it's quick and easy to make that way. I have tried it too over the years and it is so good!! Though we've never met, love you much and all that you do Stephanie!
I truly love your home! I love how you took something that was an eye sore to a beautiful home. I grew up going back n forth between my mom and dads home. My dad always had a double wide and it was so homey and roomy. My dad recently built a house across the field on the other side of his farm. He still has the doublewide. My little brother owns it now and if he hadn’t of bought it I would’ve because I can’t imagine not having that home. It’s still home to me and I have so many great memories. My little brother is fixing it up. I’m so so happy! ❤️❤️
Hi, I being using the bartender keeper for a ton of years, but I find the powder with a tiny bit of detergent, lasts for much more time. When hanging clothes on the line, place the pin on the seams, that way you don’t get the mark. I know you have a plate full, start buying paper plates at the DT, for those days you don’t have time, or simply don’t feel like it. I have always divided my housework for different days, so I could work outside, take care of my kids, my husband, cook and do laundry, oh and help them with the homework. Now is just the 2of us and I still divide the chores. Congrats, your channel is growing incredibly fast.
New subbie here! Love your clean and tidy home. We downsized from 2500 sq ft to 1350 some years ago. Believe me at 76 it’s all I want to clean now! Our house is 76 years old and hubbby renovated it 23 years ago. Lots of older house charm. We love the smaller space. Same ice maker here-I always say I’m the only one with the recipe! A family member paid $2500 for a 14x56 single wide in a beautiful park. My husband said the long concrete drive was worth more than that! Lol😊 They have upgraded it and it is charming and lovely. She decors with lots of white and farmhouse decor. Cute! You’ve done a lovely job on your home. Enjoyed the video❤️
I have lived in two mobile homes the first one was horrible but I new I could clean it up and make it liveable and I did and we lived there over 20 years. Now we live in a double wide out in the country. Iove my home and lots of my deco came f rom Goodwill and junk shows. Love your videos.keep what your doing we love you
Looks nice. I have never had a dishwasher or ice maker either. I think I'm still living just fine. Lol I love the island. Never had one of them either.😊 Molly is a sweetheart ❤️
I loved your video. And yes everybody has a junk drawer!!! I love your ice maker. You have the best vids because you are you. Can't wait for the next one.
You have a very Nice hone. I lived in a a mobile home till I was 26 yrs old. It was my family home. It is still sitting there. Empty yet beautiful with trees growing in front of the old trailer. Maybe some day someone will buy and remodeled it. Thank you for making a mobile home your home. I live kinda live near you. I'm from Danville which is Boyle county bye
I am in Las Vegas, tons of dust. I don’t even try on a regular basis anymore. My old big dog and my new little dog take kibble from the bowl to eat. And I have a junk drawer too.
Sure have had disgustingly satisfying cleaning events. Not fun but after I get done and look at how nice it looks, then I think that wasn’t so hard I should do this more often.....but I don’t lol. I do everything I don’t like to do first, if I don’t like you it won’t get done! I love your honesty!!
You are remarkable! Thank you for reminding me what goodness looks like. What a inspiration your are for me. I just found your channel yesterday and feel like I just found a new friend. May God Bless you and your husband always.
I love using microfiber cloths too for dusting and Swiffer!! YES it is Satisfyingly Disgusting!!! LOL LOL What a great easy crockpot recipe! TY I like using those same crockpot liners too!!! BONNIE is just SO ADORABLE!!! I love how she likes to sit in the basket with all the blankets!!! Does she also have a bed she likes to use? 🐾💗🐾 Thank You for taking care of the kitty!!! It sure is a CUTIE too!!!🐾💗🐾 When you posted this video you said you were almost at 5,000 and today you are at 10,400!!! WOOHOO!!!
welcome to women's world , dust, dishes and cooking and moping on weekends lol that how it's been i believe i have dirt in my eyes 😂maybe you will get a external ice maker they work great. have a super week.
I make that same chicken crockpot meal….it is definitely yummy! Oh, and it tastes amazing with dried cranberries in the stuffing too! My dining room table is my catch all place….I just decorated it for fall just to keep it cleaned off……now my foyer is the catch all spot….it just shifted my mess over, didn’t solve my issue! Ha! You could get a little tool box for some of the things in your junk drawer and maybe store it down where your garbage can is if there’s any space left.
I love the simplicity of your home. Even when it's messy it doesn't look it because your house isn't cluttered with unnecessary stuff. Have a blessed day sweetie. - Arlene
My husband and I are getting ready to take over my father in-laws 92 double wide and you have given us so much hope ❤️. The amount of stuff it needs is overwhelming but you have shown it's possible. Our almost 22 year old son does dialysis and it has been a long hard journey. Each day is a blessing, God is in control ❤️
Junk drawers are a staple in the South. I live in Texas and I have a junk drawer myself. I just came across your video's today. I have really enjoy watching your videos.
Juice glass - so sweet! I have a bunch of things from my grammie, I pepper my surroundings with them and I feel her spirit, and since my mom has passed in recent years, I do the same with treasures of hers that I display. Makes missing them a bit easier, (if that's possible 😢)
Your home is beautiful! Your family did a wonderful job fixing up the old mobile home. Your decorating is so comfortable! Even the property that your home is on is so pretty. If I was young again like you, I would do the same thing you did with the mobile home. Good luck and much happiness!
Oh your place is so pretty 😍 💕! Yeah, I enjoy the cleaning videos I get alot of ideas that way. Yes, my dog also takes there food out of there dish to eat it. But, only my small dogs. My small and big dogs did not have to ever share bowls.
Such a pretty little place!! For the curtain covering the trash you could try a tension rod. It would push against the side of the fridge and the cabinet and the tension holds it in place. Like a shower curtain rod only smaller. My dog does the same with her food... she actually grabs a bite and carries it down the hall to eat it half the time. Dogs do weird stuff!!
I love your sense of humor. You used a very good word to explain your clutter on your center Island. Plethora: a large or excessive amount of (something). I'm glad I found your channel I really enjoy watching you. Keep them coming doing a great job.
@@LittleBlessedNest no problem. I'm so glad I found your UA-cam channel. I hope you have lots of success with it. I'd love to start my own UA-cam channel on cooking. I have no idea how to do it though. Have a blessed day.
Stephanie, we have so much in common such as, starbucks ice coffee, crockpot chick-stuffins, gain mr. Clean, swiffer cleaning. I enjoy hanging out with ya. I keep telling my brad about ya.
I haven't had a dishwasher for 30 years I don't miss one. I use the dish wands that you fill with liquid dish detergent. We also don't have an ice maker. Ice cube trays are just fine.
I have really loved your channel... it’s not fake I love the real life ... continue just the way you are... 🙏🙏❤️❤️

I'm addicted to the dollar tree and all the UA-cam videos about it .
You are one of the VERY few American UA-camrs that fill your sink with soapy water, and not let it run continuously the entire time 👏👏👏.
This is how my mom always did it so I guess that's why I do it. I'd never seen anyone do it the other way until I saw it on UA-cam. I don't get it.

Have a BLESSED, BLESSED day 🙏🏻❤️❤️🙏🏻
Lol Dollar General version of Thanksgiving 😀 LOOKS GOOD!
Thank you for the great video. You and your husband have a lovely home.
Thank you so much!
I just love ur little home! Amazing how you transformed it in the beginning. It's precious!!! Love it!
She says, "Want to clean with me?"
Wags tail yes.
She starts to clean...
Dogs like, "Wait what?" "I think I changed my mind." Woof.
That is wonderful! I love my little juice glass.
I love those Looney Tunes glasses. Collected them from going to Lums in FL. in the 70's. Lost track with all the moves & recently got an Elmer Fudd at a junk shop for $1!
Were the Looney Tunes glasses originally jelly jars? I was born in 1970 and we had them.
@@raquellambropoulos279 These were Pepsi glasses that you could purchase from fast food restaurants back in the day.
Use a tension rod for the curtain under the counter! Or you can use a shower tension rod made for a shower curtain! Not a tub that would be to big,
Absolutely love your opening picture. Keep on doing your thing. I'm a good surface cleaner.
Thanks so much 😊
I'm catching up on your past videos that I missed.
Thank you Hazel. I like that bootleg chicken dressing. 🤣
That is so great they kept it in the family! Thank you for watching!!
Thanks for the tips Regina!
Lol😊
They have upgraded it and it is charming and lovely.
Love your videos.keep what your doing we love you
Right, the dry swiffers work when you cant find the wet swiffers at dollar tree. Otherwise you pay big bucks for wet swiffers everywhere else
I have one of those tables at my house too.......it's just a catch all...Love your videos!
Thanks sister 😘
Great video!!! Yep it’s satisfying to get that dust and dirt cleaned up!!!😊👍
You got that right!
Looks nice. I have never had a dishwasher or ice maker either. I think I'm still living just fine. Lol I love the island. Never had one of them either.😊 Molly is a sweetheart ❤️
Thank you! Her name is Bonnie and she is the best! Have a great day!

I know where Danville is. My family is from Gravel Switch and Lebanon. 😊
Loved cleaning with you. I love a clean and tidy space. 😊

I love watching you do so different things. You are my kind of people. ❤️
Mary Hay
Agree, she’s my kind also, 100%.
I am in Las Vegas, tons of dust. I don’t even try on a regular basis anymore. My old big dog and my new little dog take kibble from the bowl to eat. And I have a junk drawer too.
Your home is beautiful! I love to see others taking such pride in their homes. I especially love that you love to thrift ❤️😁.
Thank you so much!!
You’re the sweetest! So enjoyed the clean with me! Love your home♥️
Thank you so much 🤗
Hanging clothes on the line! What wonderful memories for me! I wish I could have a line now!❤️
Sure have had disgustingly satisfying cleaning events. Not fun but after I get done and look at how nice it looks, then I think that wasn’t so hard I should do this more often.....but I don’t lol. I do everything I don’t like to do first, if I don’t like you it won’t get done! I love your honesty!!
absolutely love your videos. they are calming as well as inspiring.
You are remarkable! Thank you for reminding me what goodness looks like. What a inspiration your are for me. I just found your channel yesterday and feel like I just found a new friend. May God Bless you and your husband always.

What a great easy crockpot recipe! TY I like using those same crockpot liners too!!!
BONNIE is just SO ADORABLE!!! I love how she likes to sit in the basket with all the blankets!!! Does she also have a bed she likes to use? 🐾💗🐾
Thank You for taking care of the kitty!!! It sure is a CUTIE too!!!🐾💗🐾

🤣
Oh and you have done a wonderful job with your place.
You make me just laugh out loud - I love your sense of humor
I make that same chicken crockpot meal….it is definitely yummy! Oh, and it tastes amazing with dried cranberries in the stuffing too!
My dining room table is my catch all place….I just decorated it for fall just to keep it cleaned off……now my foyer is the catch all spot….it just shifted my mess over, didn’t solve my issue! Ha!
You could get a little tool box for some of the things in your junk drawer and maybe store it down where your garbage can is if there’s any space left.
Great motivational video. Love your sink.
I love the simplicity of your home. Even when it's messy it doesn't look it because your house isn't cluttered with unnecessary stuff. Have a blessed day sweetie. - Arlene
Thanks so much! 😊
Great cleaning motivation enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing

Good luck with your remodel and prayers for your family. Thanks for watching!
I love your channel. God Bless and take care.
Thank you! You too!
We had to do that too when we were younger.... Early Saturday morning...even before we could watch cartoons.... LOL
Your home is lovely! Its come a long way from the beginning. Yall have done a lot of hard work. Great job!
Hi Stephanie, good job on your home!!Everything looks so clean & neat.Have a nice tomorrow! 👏🏻😊
Thank you! You too!
Great job on your cleaning video !! I like how you are so authentic 💜
Thank you! 😊
You should be proud. I love your home.
Junk drawers are a staple in the South. I live in Texas and I have a junk drawer myself. I just came across your video's today. I have really enjoy watching your videos.
Awesome! Thank you!
Juice glass - so sweet! I have a bunch of things from my grammie, I pepper my surroundings with them and I feel her spirit, and since my mom has passed in recent years, I do the same with treasures of hers that I display. Makes missing them a bit easier, (if that's possible 😢)
Everything looks so fresh and tidy. You and Bonnie are a cleaning team~
Yes we are
Your home is beautiful! Your family did a wonderful job fixing up the old mobile home. Your decorating is so comfortable!
Even the property that your home is on is so pretty.
If I was young again like you, I would do the same thing you did with the mobile home.
Good luck and much happiness!
Thank you! You too!
I really like your living room rug.
Beautiful song. Such a fun video, today! makes me want to get to cleaning! Thank you!!!
You are so welcome!
You are so welcome!
Oh your place is so pretty 😍 💕! Yeah, I enjoy the cleaning videos I get alot of ideas that way. Yes, my dog also takes there food out of there dish to eat it. But, only my small dogs. My small and big dogs did not have to ever share bowls.
Nice job. Everything looks clean and tidy.
Thank you!
My kitchen table is the catch all and I feel your pain. Always something to do. Loved your video and your sweet spirit. Keep them coming. ❤❤
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing!
Love that!
Our dog does the same thing with her food!😊
Use a small curtain 'tension rod' to hang the curtain to hide the trash can,,,I use one & works perfectly.
I'm on the hunt for one that will fit that spot.
I haven't had a dishwasher for 30 years
I don't miss one. I use the dish wands that you fill with liquid dish detergent. We also don't have an ice maker. Ice cube trays are just fine.
I have to say, I do miss the dishwasher. LOL!
