Driving from Hermon to Dead Sea via Jordan River and Mediterranean Sea

- We attempt to drive from the snowy peak of Mt Hermon to the Dead Sea in five hours. On the way, we will stop at Galilee, Caesarea, Judean Foothills, and the Negev desert. We will go from 1 degrees C (33 F) to 26 C (79 F), as we descend 2091 meters (6861 feet) in a single day! So join us on this marvelous journey, as we explore the entire land of Israel and discover its significance!

The end poem:
As we come to the end of our journey, we realize the meaning behind the beautiful geography of this land;
It all starts at the highest mountain, that seems like it’s hanging in the heavens.
Its peak is covered with pure white snow, which melts, descends, and forms the Jordan river flow.
Most of its activity is in the region of the Galilee, yet its goodness extends to the whole land, from the river to the sea.
In fact, life in Israel would not be possible without the freshwater of this river. It runs sustains the entire country, from the Hermon to the very south, a true life-giver, nourishing plants, animals, and man.
At the end of its road, the Jordan pours itself unto the Dead Sea, and this fresh cleansing water dies, a neat picture for us to see.
For salt has another interesting purpose, it preserves the waters from decay. Whatever enters it, sees no corruption, waiting for that appointed day.
A coming time in human history, when the living water that entered this salty sea, from the state of death it will revive, and once again, living water, it will be.

I've watched this at least 3 times, and yet, the depth isn't lost to me.
As Sergio said, it's flowing water (Grace, I believe) then to the Dead Sea (salt --> cleansing and like His death, purifying). All of it has its purpose, though it might not be apparent at once.

Yes!!! Jordan ( Yarden) in Hebrew = Descender. Jordan river symbolizes Jesus (the living water). And the river which descends from the tallest Mt in Israel, comes down into Galilee (where Jesus led most of his ministry) and then into the Dead Sea (unto his death). But just like the Dead Sea, doesn’t just stay there, it evaporates back into heaven, so did Jesus is now in heaven. Undoubtedly, Jordan river symbolizes the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is so incredible!

Where I live in Australia we have 4 seasons in one day, during spring. Storms, blue skies, icy cold winds and snow then the sunshine. There is a local joke about going to Tasmania (southern most state) "If you go to Tassie and don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes".

Oh Sergio and Rhoda, this is by far my favorite trip so far. . . . well I really liked the surprise hiker Charlie Garrett trip but that one was so hard a trek. They got from the BEST Israeli restaurant here, which many of their products comes from Israel, including the tahini and the chick peas!!! I couldn’t even speak while eating my first bit of pita bread with chick peas humus. The pita was also different from what I’m used to eat here... Sitting in my living room in Perth Scotland having read this morning in 2nd Samuel, 3 - 6 and happened upon your videos while searching, and looking into the Mulberry trees mentioned there, and your video on the original date seeds planted in Israel sparked the journey. I have watched your videos with a mixture of tears and laughter, I went to a 10 day tour in Israel back in 2005, 7 days in Jerusalem, and 3 days in Tiberius, and have not been abroad since. You have brought some more of the holy land to light, and the terrain as you say brings the amazing spirit, and strength of the people of God in Faith, through the desert area, to a land flowing with Milk and Honey,,,!!!

My wife & I were blessed to visit Israel in 2014 for 10 days. One of my favorite sites was Tel Megiddo. From the Tel you can see Mount Caramel where Elijah prayed for rain. The valley of Jezreel stretches out in front of you & you can see clear to Gilboa in the south.
You guys have an absolutely wonderful spirit.
