LapTrax

Started playing around with a FREE app that I found on the Play Store called LapTrax. Does a great job if you just want to have some fun and know your lap times for practice etc. I have not yet tried multiple pilots with this app, but it can supposedly track up to 4 "Virtual" pilots. I also apologise for the tame laps, I was more concerned about 4 clean laps than speed.

Glad you like the app! thanks for the great video/demo and getting the word out! be sure to swipe the other way (swipe right?) on the main screen to see the 'race options' screen.
'Virtual Racers' are previous races that you can race against; yourself, or someone else's previous race. The laptimes will be announced as if they were in the current race.

Thanks for that Protocol 😁😁. Yeah, I was playing around with the Virtual racers in the days after this video. Pretty cool feature. I kept racing myself and never lost a race 🤣🤣🤣.
I still use it and my daughters love using it for running races around the house. Thanks again for the support.

Why does it keep saying color same as background when it's not?

thats not to bad mate i wonder how it would go with a couple of pilots also what would happen if 2 pilots go through the gate at the same time

Hi Arc,
in 'ColorTrax' mode you can track up to 4 racers/colors, even if they pass the camera at the same time.

@@protovision2010 I'm having trouble with setting it up for multiple vehicles. Keeps telling me colour exists in background no matter what. Can it really track seperate vehicles by color?

@@OswaldBeef it does work, but it can be picky. Try to have a plain background, and the color selected to track cannot exist on other cars or in the background. Bright colors work best (red/blue/yellow/orange/green). Try a piece of bright colored tape on the car and track that. good luck!

I have been experimenting with this for a couple of weeks trying to cast the screen to a monitor/tv with Chromecast. Despite being able to cast anything else, like movies and UA-cam, I cannot get this to cast. I have a Nokia Android phone. Can anyone help me?

Sorry for your troubles with this app. I haven't used it for around 2 years now, so would not know how to cast it. Maybe try contacting the producer of the app. I believe there is a comment on this video from them.
