The Ride The Lights event at the East Anglia Transport Museum

- A well attended event with trams and trolleybuses running from late afternoon to sunset, and into the evening darkness. Featured vehicles are 1930 London tram no. 1858, 1927 Blackpool Corporation tram 159, 1929 Amsterdam tram 474, 1936 London Trolleybus 260, and 1953 Derby Corporation trolleybus 237.
Unfortunately, after riding on tram 1858 it was taken out of service so there are no exterior shots of it running.
Absolutely stunning what a lovely place to visit.
I will be visiting asap
All the staff and volunteers wow the trams and trolleybuses look brand new.
It is indeed a great place. This was my first visit and I really needed more time to see everything. The 19th of December (tomorrow) is the last operating day until April next year.
Just magic. What else can I say? We had trolleybuses in Hastings until I was 9, so I was well used to them. Never lost my soft spot for that mode of transport.

Thanks Tim. I will be going back later in the year. There's a lot to see which I missed because of the short time the museum was open for this event.
