Running wide wide open there. Impressive really. I've always wanted to turn the pumps up on the new 349, 352 hoes and see what they'll do. We rent everything and a service tech won't dare turn up the machine even after the machine has been broken-in.
I even offered a case of premium whiskey once to a cat mechanic to turn me up... Nope. Companies that own the machines outright will rarely turn up hydraulic pressures due to the fact it can void warranties. Everything is laptop now. Gone are the days of wrenching your pump pressures up.

What's up with the dump trucks? What brand are they? Curious why they are using a huge fleet of smaller trucks vs fewer large mine trucks
I asked this before and I was told that dump trucks aren’t owned by or operated by the coal mine they are owner operator’s truck drivers who get paid by load count. And those trucks hold up 40 to 60 tons I believe

Bruce M. CAT horns are very unique I find. They run a dual-tone like a car. High and low with emphasis on high tones so easier to distinguish from environmental and engine noise.
