Just hearing the bishops story really hits home for me at the moment. I have had my fare share of drug addiction and poor choices but at the moment I would like to ask the church to pray over my brother and mother cause they are really in need of saving. There's nothing I could do to make them understand that there is such a better life with god in our hearts. I want to share that with them so bad but I can't. I don't want nothing bad to happen to them I just want them to realize that I love them with all my heart and change is possible for anyone just as long as your willing to want to make that change. Joseph was crying because he knew God told him not to kill them but it was hurting so bad but Joseph trusted God for years and seeing them triggered a deep wound but Joseph said Lord this does hurt and God said I know but I am with you! It not about trusting God in hard times. Can God trust you??? When things get hard are you going to leave God??? Satan gets in your ear during hard times are you going to listen to him or believe him??? Also tough times helps you with your discipline and self-control. Are you going to make right decision while times are hard??? Or is it too hard you decide to go the easy route and listen to Satan. God will determine are you pretender or contender. Tough times will determine that.
Think about this for a moment.
We live in a fallen world, because this world has been cursed by God. Christ had told His disciples that SATAN is the god of this world. He also had forewarned them to NOT LOVE this fallen world and the corruptible THINGS that are in this world, because if they did, they would not have the LOVE of Christ dwelling within them. To put it in perspective, this WORLD is God's ENEMY!!
Knowing that, why would a preacher tell his congregation that God's desire is to offer His children the WORLD? 😁.........and why would they foolishly BELIEVE it?
Answer; they have been subconsciously indoctrinated into satanic belief. It is Satan who offers professing Christians this world, not Christ!
